Chapter 226: Blood and mercy don't get interwined

*RATATTATATTA*

The machine gun turret fired the bullets fly and pierced through 5 rear rebel cell minions that were positioned at the further front of the building. The rebel cell minions that were at the side panic as they thought the APC was with them, but it was not. "What the heck is going on-" the rebel cell minion head flies as the angel that swoops down, sliced it. After 20 minutes, the fight outside finished.

[Radio: Let's move out!"] Qi Meili tapped her comms that were on her neck.

Han Zian and the others stepped out from the APC, and the Red Blood Armored Knights move into their positions. Above front entrance of the building the angels were flying steadily. Han Zian ordered the angels using his mind to enter the first floor.

But then a machine-gun burst fire from the glass entrance as the glass entrance shatters. "Take cover!" one of the red blood armored knights shouted as they all dive on the ground just to dodge the bullets that were flying ahead. The bullets grazed 2 of the angels that went down.

Inside of the building, Valiriel was using his fiery sword of damnation to block some bullets that were being fired at him. But there still some that grazed on his armor. Valiriel charges forward and because the first floor is only a tight, crowded space, he cannot use his flying abilities.

So he charged forward with his two hands on the handle of his fiery sword of damnation. The Armored Lion pride soldiers. Pulled their trigger, but it was in a bad timing when Valiriel was getting near then they run out of bullets. After that, the angels from a behind charge in as the second wave of attack.

The first one to be taken down was the further left of the line of the Armored Lion pride soldiers. While the other armored Lion pride soldiers grabbed their long sword from their back and engage with the incoming 8 angels. Their swords clash as the 3 Lion pride soldiers returned the favor of fighting with sword with the angels.

But their fight did not last long, because when Valiriel cuts down the furth left armored Lion pride soldier, he turned his views towards the middle man which was the acting leader.

Valiriel smiled behind his helmet and swings his sword towards the location of the acting leader of the armored lion pride soldiers. After he swing his fiery sword of damnation, it created a flaming slash heading towards the Armored Lion pride soldier. And when it hits the acting leader.

The leader then flies and slammed his body on the wall with his armor melted and then the leader's body got split in half. When the other two saw what happened to their acting leader, they slowly retreating one step at a time as the angels charge at them with the divine sword.

"Dammit brother, we need to retreat or else we will end up dead here," one of the Armored lion pride soldier stated as he tried to hold how powerful every strike came at him. "Arghh-" he moaned as he was trying to hold, but a flash of fire came striking him down.

The sword he was gripping broke in half and his complete face cut sliced in half. The armored Lion pride soldier dropped to the ground. Now that there is only one left, Valiriel let the 8 angels takes care of the last armored Lion pride soldier. Valiriel turns around and walked out of the first floor signalling Han Zian that it was clear.

The 8 angels slashed and strike the armored lion pride soldier. After 3 minutes of holding more, the Armored lion pride soldier surrendered because of exhaustion and he can no longer moved as he was already back against the wall. The last strike ending him with a decapitation as his head flies towards the door of the elevator, creating a stain of blood.

Han Zian raises his head as he sees a gold plated armor with a divine blessing. After that he turns around and shouted, "We are clear to go in" and Qi Meili nodded. After that, he ordered the red blood armored knight to move forward. Han Zian leads the way and entered the building first floor. "The place became a real bloodbath."

The blood stains on the floor and on the wall were clearly visible. The smell of blood that is lingering, but for the others they have already gotten use with the smell of blood because of other missions that was given to them before. Which are mostly mission that require eliminating their targets. Some of those are killings that have no mercy with it.

After that, Han Zian and Qi Meili check the elevator bus and there they see a button with a U1 written on it. Han Zian was curious, so he pushed the button. Qi Meili said, "I want to say thank you for the suggestion. It really went well and for the angels hard work." Qi Meili smiled at her soft tone of voice.

"You know it's fine. It was part of the job and in the end winning all that matters and successfully on each of the missions we are given," Han Zian replied and the bus elevator opened. There were no people at the front desk, but Han Zian was still the one that stepped out first from the elevator bus.

Han Zian first looked at the left and right. On the right, there was a large door. While on the left were rooms and or offices. Han Zian turns around and said "Pick which is yours the offices or the large door on the right hallway?" Qi Meili smiled and said "Well if I want the easy things I will choose the offices"

Qi Meili then stepped out as she waited for her red blood armored knights to go down with the bus elevator.

After 15 minutes, the entire group was now at the reception of the underground. "We are going to split. Let's move. I want to finish this underground barracks more than ever." Han Zian exclaimed, and he nodded to his angels and Red Blood Armored Knights while he tapped Valiriel in shining armor.

Han Zian looked at Valiriel and ordered, "Take down the door, Angels at the support of Valiriel once open attack all the enemies you will see." After that Valiriel walked towards the large door at the end of the right hallway followed by the 8 angels that were ready for battle.

[Radio: Commence the attack]

The green light get as gone and Valiriel kicks the 2 large doors, and the doors flies hitting 2 rebel cell minion that was about to open the door.

The door ended up slamming itself at the end of the wall on the other side while it smashed the 2 rebel cell to death because of how heavy the door was. All the Lion pride soldiers and rebel cell minions stood from where they were sitting. "What the heck!" one of the rebel cell minion shouted as he got pissed.

"Who the hell!" and another comment from the Lion pride soldier. And when Valiriel entered the room and he let out his 4 wings and looked at each of the rebel cell minion and Lion Pride soldier. They all stepped back. One rebel cell minion tried to open the weapon storage, but a Red blood armored Knight marksman pulled the trigger, killing the rebel cell minion.

After that, Han Zian ordered Valiriel to unleash wrath via Han Zian's mind. With that command Valiriel armor started to engulfed with divine flames and all of those are near felt the burn on their skin even with their armor on. "What the heck am I feeling this kind of burn!" one of the rebel cell minion sat down on the ground and tries to back off while taking off his uniform.

Followed that oppression, Valiriel signaled the angels at the back to attack. And the battle began. The Angels charged through and started slashing every Lion Pride soldier they see and even the rebel cell minions that were hiding beneath the chairs and tables.

But luckily, one rebel cell minion could open the weapon storage. But as he was about to enter the weapons storage, a bullet coming from a Red Blood then shot him in the head Armored Knight marksman.

And followed to the Angels attacks the red blood armored knight supports the Angels from the back while Valiriel was attacking at the read as he tried to fly and make a pinned tactic so that it will compress the enemies into the middle for easy to kill.

While the scream and help was echoing through the hallway on the other side. Qi Meili ordered to open the door and the Red blood armored Knight kicks the door and saw multiple Lion pride officers that were discussing, but then they stopped. When the door got kicked open. Qi Meili walks in and all the Lion Pride officers back off.

Some of them tried to alert the barracks on the other side, but they did not know that it was the first one that became a slaughter room.

"Why aren't the forces responding?!" one of the Lion pride officer exclaimed as they were shaking. Qi Meili snaps her finger and all of them were put to death by the Red blood Armored Knights.

And the entire room became a place of death, with their blood spilling on the ground. Qi Meili approached the tabled and grab all the information they might night in the future to come. Qi Meili turns around and said "We still have 5 more rooms to clean" and the Red Blood Armored Knight walks out of the room leaving the door open.
