Chapter 126 - Aleyria!

Alexander smiled weakly at Blackfire and nodded.

"And who will be doing the fighting against their legions, if I may ask?" Magius asked.

"Lend me your legions, and I will lead them to victory for you." Alexander said confidently.

Magius laughed out loud. He liked this plucky youngster. "Let's discuss that once you've placed Anastasia on the Symphonian Throne." Magius dismissed Alexander's idea immediately.

Alexander smiled and nodded. He needed to prove his skills first.

"How is she?" He asked Fluff-fluff softly.

"I don't know how much you've heard, but Aleyria had somehow activated a dark power within her that we have never seen before. She is capable of absorbing energy - even my luck energy. She fainted when that energy activated a few minutes ago and had yet to regain consciousness." Fluff-fluff updated Alexander.

"She'll be fine. The dark energy is not sentient and is not harmful to her in anyway. She should wake up soon. More importantly, is it Dark Warrior energy I sense in you?" Magius frowned lightly as he studied Alexander with an intensity that was rather unnerving to him.

Alexander nodded. "I slew two Dark Warriors that were released by Prince Flario. They bore the faces and life energies of my generals back on Earth. What exactly are they?"

"You need to do something about your ridiculous underlings." Fluff-fluff snapped angrily at Magius. "TWO Dark Warriors from Symphonia, and then this imbecile who decided to cast Supernova in the vicinity of a life planet? I am surprised you can even bring yourself to talk to me about responsibility! Shame on you! You should walk the talk, hypocrite!"

Magius raised his hands lightly in a gesture of surrender. "Alright, alright. I admit I have been rather negligent when dealing with my disciples. I apologize. I will make sure this fiasco does not repeat itself."

"Hmph! I'll let you off lightly this time on account that you're bearing a heavy responsibility to safeguard our realm." Fluff-fluff replied in mock indignance. "Anyway, to answer your question, Alexander. Dark Warriors are powerful creatures mutated through the power of Evil Gods from the Realm of Darkness. Earth must have some sort of a breached barrier to the Realm of Darkness which allowed its power to leak and contaminate these two warriors."

"Why do I feel such blinding waves of pain after I kill them?"

"The Realm of Darkness is primarily a spirit realm. That realm is like any other realm, they have Kingdoms, powers and also many different types of God. Regis Darkbane of the Darkbane Kingdom is a Devil King serving Blytoros, the God of Tricks. Blytoros is a neutral Lesser God.

Dark Warriors, on the other hand, are part of the Spirit Link Empire who are in the service of Hisa, the God of Spirits, an Elder God aligned to Evil. The Dark Warriors are actually an incredibly insidious creation of Hisa. They can deliver powerful spirit-based attacks which are nigh unguardable by us in the main realm. But the worst part of the Dark Warriors is that when they die, they will unleash an undetectable, unblockable spirit attack to EVERYONE in their memory. The more they feel for the person, be it love or hatred, the more powerful their final attack would be.

What you suffered was that final attack of theirs. Not many people can survive this final attack, much less two of them. In fact, I didn't expect you to recover this quickly."

"What? That's insane! If that's the case, wouldn't I be extremely vulnerable right now? Literally thousands of people love, hate, adore, admire me back on Earth!" Alexander was stunned.

"Don't worry. The amount of power required to create Dark Warriors is rather significant. As you probably know very clearly, they are extremely large, and extremely powerful. Creating two Dark Warriors was already an incredible anomaly. There will definitely not be a third. The two generals of yours probably came across a powerful relic which absorbed the Evil energy for thousands of years before getting turned into Dark Warriors. The only thing I would like to know is how that Flario detected and controlled them. He should not have access to the techniques or technology required to do that. Unless…" Magius's frown deepened.

"He is collaborating with Scions of Zegaro." Alexander finished Magius's sentence for him.

"Yes, he is. I already know that." Magius replied, still frowning deeply. Fluff-fluff and Alexander nodded in approval. Better observe and track a mole that you already know, then ferret him out and let the enemy plant a new one which you do not know.

"Unless he is also collaborating with the Evil Faction of the Realm of Darkness." Fluff-fluff corrected Alexander.

"And if that's true, then I fear the breach between our realm and the Realm of Darkness is much bigger than I suspected." Magius said.

"You need to go back to Earth and plug that breach." Fluff-fluff advised. "The final battle between the four Gods probably ripped the barrier and somehow, something is preventing it from fully healing by itself."

"Hmmm." Magius nodded. "I will do that after we finish here."

"What do you plan to do?" Alexander asked. Although he was not worried that Magius would do anything bad to Aleyria, he really wanted to know before Magius made a move.

"Make her my disciple." Magius smiled at Alexander. "I am convinced that the dark energy within her, strange as it is, poses no direct threat to us. It is not from the lower or higher realms. It is not sentient, but possesses immense potential. So I intend to strengthen Aleyria to the point where she could be an effective fighter for us. I hope you don't mind being the weaker party in your relationship." Magius added with a laugh.

Alexander grinned and his gaze turned rather sly as he looked at Magius slowly prepare himself to grant his blessing to Aleyria.

"I know about your other two blessings from God, as well as the fusion that's going on with Flamewing. Let me assure you that although you have the theoretical potential to gain powers that is above mine, you will find that even reaching my level of power would be a painful and difficult journey, if not wholly impossible." A deeply ancient and majestic power flowed out of Magius at that moment, causing Alexander fall into reverence and awe.

He circulated his Scion King power madly, trying to dispel the effect that Magius had on him, but it bore little fruit.

Whoosh. Magius retracted his power and gave Alexander an enigmatic smile.

"Hehehe." Alexander could only grin sheepishly. He truly was still incredibly, incredibly far from Magius's level. He needed to stabilize his powers first and then find ways to increase the volume of the power he could wield.

At that moment, a distant voice sounded in Alexander's head.

"Alexander!"

"Flamewing!" Alexander exclaimed internally in surprise. "Where are you?"

"I'm on my way to you. I had to teleport the girls back to base first just now. I should be there in half an hour!" Flamewing said.

"Alright. Magius is here, so there's no danger." Alexander told her.

"Magius is there?! What-why?" Flamewing asked in surprise.

"Long story..." Alexander started to tell her a brief summary of what happened.

"I will begin now." Magius informed the group.

A thin stream of godly power left Magius's hands and seeped into Aleyria's body. It was such a mild process and such a massive departure from what Alexander experienced when he received his own blessing from Magius that Alexander couldn't help but ask.

"Is that it?" He asked in disbelief.

"Yes. Unlike your experience where I directly infused my power into your body, I am merely giving her a seed of my Godly power. A large seed, mind you, potentially able to grant her a much higher peak arcane strength compared to you. It will slowly germinate within her and bloom into maturity at her own pace. When she…" Magius stopped and frowned lightly once more.

Whoosh! A bright golden light suddenly emanated from Aleyria. "Ah!" Aleyria cried out and opened her eyes widely in surprise.

"Aleyria! Are you alright!" Alexander immediately held on to her hand and asked worriedly.

"I'm fine! I… Ah!" Aleyria gasped once more.

"Aleyria!" Alexander shouted.

"Don't worry. She's not in pain." Magius grabbed Alexander's shoulder and assured him.

Alexander could only nod lightly.

Whoosh!!

The bright golden light suddenly dimmed and a dark aura coalesced around her.

Suddenly, a powerful life force erupted from Aleyria. It was so strong that Magius and Fluff-fluff opened their eyes in extreme shock!

"What's happening?!" Magius gasped.

For a God of Magic and the only God left in the universe, for him to be shocked simply meant one thing. Aleyria's power had grown to such a degree that even he was threatened.

WHOOSHHH!!!

Her life force grew even stronger!

BA DUM! BA DUM! BA DUM! BA DUM!

Aleyria's heartbeat sounded out strongly.

At that point, Magius released his own power to make sure that he was not taken by surprise if somehow, Aleyria went berserk.
