Fu Beiting frowned. In a split moment, the woman in front of him seemed to have returned to how she used to be.

Even though she was in such dire straits now, she still retained her aristocratic temperament deep in her bones, making it impossible for people to look down on her.

Fu Beiting looked up and stared at the woman in front of him.

Her face was filled with determination, so unfamiliar that he did not seem to recognize her.

Coldness filled Qin Xiangwan’s eyes. “Firstly, it’s my fault that I can’t read people well. I mistook a malicious woman as my best friend. Secondly, I was blinded by my feelings and couldn’t see how cold and heartless the man beside me was. Thirdly, I’ve let down the entire Qin family and let down my father’s love for me.”

Fu Beiting held his breath. These powerful and resonating words landed heavily in his heart.

Her attitude was so condescending. By right, he should be angry. However, when Fu Beiting looked up at Qin Xiangwan standing by the window, he felt a trace of panic.

Qin Xiangwan struggled for a moment, stretching her arm to push Fu Beiting away.

She really hated herself. Even now, his familiar aura still made her heart palpitate.

She looked up and met Fu Beiting’s cold and angry eyes.

“Why? Are you trying to attract my attention by pretending to jump off a building?” Fu Beiting spat out these words through gritted teeth in an extremely harsh way.

Qin Xiangwan struggled in his arms and was too weak to push him away. “I’m just dizzy.”

“That’s enough. How many tricks have you pulled in order to make me leave Su Xinyue?” Fu Beiting gripped her slender shoulders with so much strength that it seemed like he was going to crush her. “Pretending to jump off a building, did you think such childish behavior will make me treat you differently? I will only find you even more disgusting.”

The word “disgusting” instantly triggered Qin Xiangwan. She used all her strength to struggle.

“Let go of me! You don’t deserve to touch me! You and Su Xinyue are the ones who disgust me even more.”

At that moment, Fu Beiting’s eyes burned with cold fury and he shouted fiercely, “What did you say? Say that again.”

His big hand squeezed on Qin Xiangwan’s shoulder so tightly that she felt a sharp pain and almost teared up.

Qin Xiangwan endured the pain and looked up to meet Fu Beiting’s angry eyes.

“Fu Beiting, let’s stop this here and get a divorce.”

It seemed as if it took all her strength for these words to come out of her mouth.
