Chapter 457 - Plan To Conceal Their Relationship (3)

Name:Accident Prone Author:RedSonia
Derek relaxed when Angela confirmed that they need to conceal their relationship only for one day, even though he had no idea how he will fare through the afternoon and evening if Roberto keeps on buzzing around Angela, his girlfriend. And Derek was confident that when Angela gets dressed up for the wedding, additional flies will gather around her as well. Ah, how can he stay on the side and watch all those random nobodies hit on his girlfriend?

"After today, I want everyone to know that you are my girlfriend and if Ash wants to punch me again, I will take it."

"I will not let him harm you in any way.", Angela said with confidence. "I wonder, how did he find out? Did you tell him?"

"I didn't tell anyone what happened. I was too ashamed of it.", Derek said. "But at the rehearsal dinner Hunter and Mike saw me staring at you and they had their guesses, however, based on what Ash said, it was more than guesses. He knew that I didn't just drop you off home, but that I came up and that we... you know."

Angela nodded faintly. She was glad that Derek didn't say more than that because she didn't want to remember. After Derek left, she was miserable.

It seemed that how Ashton found out is a mystery and unless she asks him directly, it will remain a mystery.

She picked up one detail from Derek's words.

"You were staring at me during the rehearsal dinner?"

Derek hummed in confirmation. "You were hot, avoiding to look my way, and that Roberto was too close to you."

Angela completely missed the part about Roberto, because he was not important. The only important people were the two of them. Did Derek really look at Angela? She couldn't believe that she missed meeting Derek's gaze, but he knew that she was avoiding him, so he was definitely observing her.

Hearing Derek's words, Angela decided to share her perspective. "I didn't look at you because I feared that I will fall apart. I have no idea what you did two weeks ago, but since then I couldn't stop thinking about you."

Derek was surprised by this confession. He knew that it's too early for words like 'love', but they are getting there, for sure. "Same here."

"Really? Why didn't you call me or find me or… anything?"

"Your last words were for me to get out, so I did.", he said plainly. "I kept my distance, hoping that I will forget about my cravings to be close to you, but my mind was muddled by the memories of that afternoon and desire to see you again, and it was getting worse as the time passed. My life was a mess, I almost got fired at work for spacing out, and even my apartment was a mess. If Hunter and Mia didn't stop by yesterday and cleaned up this place, you would find clothes and food leftovers everywhere, and it smelled bad also."

Angela's heart swelled from emotions. He said that he was thinking about her and wanted to see her again, and that his life and apartment were a mess… does that mean that he loves her? And she thought that he was a coldhearted bastard.

"At that time, I was ashamed. No one ever touched me like that, Derek, and the thought that for you it was just a casual pass-time… it hurt. But now we are dating, and if I tell you to get out and you leave, make sure to call me. Because when you are not around, I miss you."

Derek liked that she said how no one touched her like that.

He wanted to tell her that it was not just a casual pass-time for him, but he stopped himself because, at that time, he was not sure what it was. He was not thinking. However, when he left that apartment he felt pain and longing, and that was officially the beginning of his infatuation with Angela. He knew that he messed up and he regretted hurting her, but he didn't know how to fix it and she told him to leave (more than once). If he stayed against her wishes, wouldn't that make him a creep, or worse?

"Mmm…", he hummed while thinking about her words. "Baby, how about you don't tell me to get out?"

Angela stifled a laugh. "I can't promise you that. When I'm angry I say all kinds of things. How about this…? If I tell you to get out, don't."

"What if you really want to break up with me?"

Angela narrowed her eyes. "Unless you give me a reason to break up with you, I won't."

Derek smiled. He will not give her any such reasons, not intentionally at least. "But if you tell me to leave and I don't, won't that make you angrier?"

"Maybe. But the worst I can do is punch you. And since you said that Ash's punch does not hurt, mine will feel like I'm swatting you with a pillow."

Derek thought how that is acceptable. "Alright. If I see you getting angry, I will throw a pillow at you so that it's handy. Use it instead of your fist. You said it's the same thing."

They both laughed and Angela wished that they can stay like that forever… in the eating area of his kitchen, with her sitting on his lap, his strong arms around her waist, and her gazing into his chocolate eyes that smiled at her. Or maybe not exactly like this, because they can definitely get closer.

Her palms moved over his shoulders higher, up his neck, and she laced her fingers in his dark locks at the same time her lips pressed against his.

Derek returned her kisses eagerly and within a minute, they both breathed heavily.

Derek didn't want Angela to think how the only thing he wants from her is sex, but if she initiates it, then it's fine. And she was definitely initiating it!

His hands moved over her thighs higher and he frowned in disapproval when he felt that she is wearing his boxer-shorts. The only good thing was that they were wide around her legs, so his hand fit under the fabric for him to fondle her buttocks.

She was soft and hard in all the right places, and the small moans she released drove him crazy.

Derek's fingers wrapped around the elastic of his boxer-shorts (that were on her), and he was delighted that she moved a bit so that he can remove them completely.

He lifted her up with ease and she yelped when her bottom met the icy-cold granite surface of the kitchen counter.

She thought that he will carry her to the bedroom, but it seemed that he will have her as part of his breakfast. Right there in his kitchen.

He took turns kissing her lips and nibbling on her taut nipples while kneading her breasts, and he groaned when his fingers moved between her folds and he felt how wet she was.

Derek pulled her to sit on the edge of the counter and she felt the pressure and the stretch and the otherworldly friction when he started pumping himself inside her.

"Oh, Derek…", she moaned while her toes curled every time he hit the right spot and he never heard anything so arousing in his life. He wished that she can call his name like that all the time.

Derek walked to the front door grumpily. It was past 10 AM and whoever was persistently pressing that doorbell did NOT have good timing! He had to interrupt his cuddle-time with Angela for this! Whatever they were selling, he was NOT buying!

Derek opened the door and frowned at Mia and Hunter. "Why are you here?"

Mia bobbed her head and gave a knowing look to Derek. He was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, but the t-shirt was inside out, so she knew that he put it on in a hurry. Did they interrupt some lovey-dovey time? Based on Derek's hostility, that is highly likely.

"We agreed to wait for Angie in the hotel, but I assumed that she is here and unless she wants to show up in the styling salon wearing her dress from last night for everyone to see, you should move aside and let us in."

Hearing Mia's words, Derek glanced at the big bag Hunter was holding in his hand. It had an 'Old Navy' logo on it, so he knew that there are clothes inside.

To improve Derek's mood, Mia lifted her hand, to show that she is carrying a beverage container with four coffees in it.

Mia's big smile and cheery demeanor made up for Hunter's glare. Hunter was upset that they went out of their way to bring clothes (and coffee), yet Derek was ungrateful.

Derek opened the door to let them in.

Mia kept coffees on the table in the living room and took the bag from Hunter before heading to the bedroom. Based on Derek's appearance and lack of Angela in the living area, Mia guessed where Angela was.

Before Mia could get in the bedroom, Derek grabbed her shoulder.

"Give me the clothes, I will take them to Angie."

Mia made a face and gave him the bag. She wanted to check on Angela and make sure she was fine, but Derek's protective behavior told Mia that Angela was more than fine.
