In an exclusive bridal shop…

Liz, Brianna, and Sabrina are in one of the private rooms, waiting for Mia to emerge with the next wedding dress for them to see how it fits.

For the last few days, girls are visiting various bridal shops (this is the fourth one), and so far, the girls didn't find the perfect dress.

"What do you think?", Mia asked when she stepped out of the dressing room.

She looked expectantly at Liz, Brianna, and Sabrina who came here to help her pick the perfect wedding dress. For the first twenty minutes, the four ladies went through the store's catalog, and each of them selected dresses that might work, so now Mia is trying them on one-by-one.

Looking at the current wedding dress on Mia with a heart-shaped neckline that covered Mia's breasts while revealing her shoulders, and a puffy skirt made out of numerous tulle layers, Liz had a cordial smile, Brianna scrutinized the dress, and Sabrina's eyes sparkled.

"It's fine.", Liz spoke first.

"I like it.", Sabrina said while opening the next bag of chips.

Sabrina's due date is in one week, and in Sabrina's opinion, that means she can eat whatever she wants. And she wants chips. After all, they started at 9 AM, and it's close to lunchtime.

"This one makes your ass look big.", Brianna gave the final verdict.

"Big buts are in fashion now.", Sabrina said matter-of-factly to what Brianna made a silly face in disagreement.

Liz laughed. "I don't know about big buts being fashionable. Maybe we should ask Hunter what he thinks."

Sabrina rolled her eyes. "He is a guy. They like big boobs and ass that wiggles."

"Well, then maybe this dress is a go?", Liz suggested.

"No.", Brianna was firm on this one. "Mia, if you say 'yes' to this dress, you will regret it for the rest of your life, every time you look at your wedding photos. Your boobs are non-existent, and your ass is Kardashian-sized."

Mia's lips twitched. This is the wedding dress twenty-something for today, and every group-judging had at least one 'nay' vote.

She was excited to go wedding-dress shopping initially, but after so many stores and dresses, all of them look the same and she wants to be done with it. However, no matter how eager she is to end this torture, a Kardashian-sized butt does not sound good. Mia is the lean-athletic type, and she is proud of it.

Mia exhaled in frustration and plopped on the sofa next to Sabrina. "I will never find a good one."

Mia reached to get some chips from Sabrina to what Sabrina slapped her hand away. "You will get greasy and then you might ruin the dress and you will need to pay for it. Here…" Sabrina ended up feeding Mia so that she does not touch the chips.

"There is a perfect dress, sweetie…", Liz tried to comfort Mia. "Go and try the next one…"

"Why can't I wear a plain white dress?", Mia whined.

Sabrina stifled a laugh. "The moment you agreed that my mom handles the wedding preparations, you accepted a grand wedding that requires a grand wedding dress. So, don't complain, no one likes a bitchy bride." Sabrina put another handful of chips in Mia's mouth and waved at Mia to get going to try the next dress.

Mia grumbled something and went back to the dressing room where the assistant waited for her.

Mia knew that Sabrina said the truth. It's Mia's fault that she ended in this situation and objectively speaking, it's not too bad.

Hunter and Mia decided on a wedding in April (without specifying a date), thinking that by then they will get things figured out. But the time trickled away, and it was around Valentine's when Madeline confronted them with questions if they have any intention of getting married in April or if they are planning to marry later. Mia and Hunter didn't want to delay further. They got engaged in June last year, and there is no point in being engaged forever. They love each other and live together, and marriage is just a ceremony to make their union official.

Madeline brought up the point that it takes time to organize a wedding because they need to invite guests and get a venue and food and the cake and entertainment and decorations and… the more Madeline spoke, the more Mia felt dizzy.

"If you keep on delaying, there will be no time to prepare anything decent in April. You can't send wedding invitations and prepare everything for the next weekend.", Madeline warned them.

"You look overwhelmed, darling…", Madeline said to Mia while rubbing her shoulder. "Do you want my help? I have experience in organizing events…"

Hunter gave Mia warning glances, but she didn't see them in time, and she agreed. Before Mia grasped what is going on, Madeline was showing her a list of 500+ guests and several color schemes for Mia to choose from.

"White and silver are definitely in, but we need one for accent. What do you think, purple? Teal? Or are you more into pink? We can use gold also…"

"Purple is fine…", Mia said, still confused with how fast Madeline acted and Mia realized that she fell into a trap which Madeline prepared in advance. Mia didn't see it coming. Madeline is a scary woman.

"Purple is a royal color. I approve…", Madeline said with a big smile on her face before continuing: "We will have white callas and purple oriental lilies… your wedding bouquet will be of white roses… it will be perfect! Satin bows on each chair for the guests… balloons and streamers…"

Mia's mind was spinning, and she realized that Madeline thought about this (and planned) for some time, but she already agreed and there was no going back. In the end, it was a good thing because she only needed to pick the dress, bridesmaids, and rings, and Madeline will handle everything else.

On the other side, Hunter only needed to be there for his suit fitting, and compared to that, Mia had much more on her hands. Where is justice?

Since Mia and Fabricio mended their relationship, Fabricio got in touch with Madeline and Nathan, and he offered his assistance with the wedding preparations. To Fabricio's disappointment, Madeline said that they got everything covered, and they are not short on money either. In the end, Madeline agreed for Fabricio to provide security for the event. Of course, security from the Alpha group will be there as well, but Fabricio's men will coordinate with them to make sure no incidents happen.

Back to the present…

Mia inhaled and held her breath while the shop assistant tightened the strings of the corset at Mia's back. The dress that Mia will try next has a narrow waist, so this is a necessary step for the dress to fit as expected.

Mia looked at herself before leaving the dressing room and she liked what she saw.

It was a classic ballgown with a lace-covered bodice with pearls for accent, and a flowy scalloped hemline. The skirt is not puffy, but not flat either. The wedding gown is simple and elegant, luxurious and not over the top… and Mia thought that it looks just right.

"What do you think?", she asked the three judges with a big smile on her face.

To Mia's surprise (and relief), all three girls gave it a thumbs up.

"I think we found it!", Mia exclaimed. "The only downside is that I can barely breathe with this corset on…"

"We can add an inch or two in the waist so that you can wear the dress without the corset.", the store assistant advised.

Brianna didn't approve. "If you do that, the dress will lose its shape."

"The wedding is three weeks from now. You can go on a diet.", Sabrina said before she put a potato chip in her mouth.

"Pft!", Liz and Brianna burst into laughter.

"You just suggested to the biggest glutton three weeks of dieting while you are stuffing your face with potato chips…", Liz said when she caught her breath.

"If Mia manages to diet for three weeks, I see her eating the whole wedding cake as soon as the I-dos are over.", Brianna said teasingly.

"Uhm… no. She would wait until the pictures are done.", Liz added.

"I don't think she could make it that far. Not with all the food around her…", Brianna said and laughed again.

Mia pouted. "Are you ladies here to help me or not?"

"You have the perfect dress.", Sabrina said. "But to make it work, you need to pick between dieting and that corset."

Mia exhaled dejectedly. The truth is that the corset is not too tight, but she is used to wearing comfortable clothes that allow her to move around, and this is suffocating. Should she wear the corset through the day so that she gets used to it until the wedding comes? Ah, this will be hard!
