Chapter 16：XVl

About two days past since we drove out of town. Ash and Atsushi weren't worried about my whereabouts for they were informed ahead of time. We stayed at different hotels for about three times. Each one being more expensive than the last.

Arriving at another hotel at our destination, it turned out to be less cheap than we expected. As we entered the room we are renting for a while, I let out a small sigh of relief.

"Heh, tired being in the car huh?" Andrew asked as he gently wraps his arms around me from behind.

"Hehe, yes I am." I answered.

"Well then, go take a warm shower. I'll be back with breakfast."

"Okay, be safe."

"I will."

Once Andrew left, I went to the bathroom and did what he told me to do. Standing under the running cold water, I started to wonder where he has taken me. I never went anywhere else than NYC.

"I think...my phone is in the bathroom....mmmm....Ok Google!"

"What is my current location?"

"Your current location is: LA."

"....What?!?!"

Quickly washing myself, I get out the bathroom wrapped in a towel with the phone on my hand. Sitting on the bed, I start doing research of the hotel I'm currently at.

"Lets see....mmm.....location...L-LA..."

I sat there in shock. First thing that came to mind was: my foster parents are going to get mad and punish me. But then I remembered, I'm not their responsibility anymore. Letting out a small sigh of relief, I place my phone to the side and stand up. Summoning a clean pair of clothes, I start dressing up.

Suddenly, a random song I technically like came to mind. At first, I was humming it. Then, I started singing it out loud.
