210 Chapter 210. Merlin

Ryu introduced himself to Meliodas and the rest.

The world of Seven Deadly Sins... the power system of this world revolves around Magic, Demon and Holy.

Ryu's eyes drifted around everyone, especially Arthur. This kid possessed the makings of a King or rather he was a King in making. The Sword held by him emitted a will of thousands, it was changing him and Forging him into a Warrior.

Meliodas was carefree and asked " So where are you guys from? "

Ryu smiled " Not around here."

Meliodas " Why are you guys here? "

Ryu " We came here for one person."

Saying that he turned towards Merlin who was turned to stone before and now reverted back to normal after Galland's death.

Ryu " I am here for you, Merlin."

Merlin had a calculating smile on her face. She had witnessed how easily Ryu had killed a Commandment. If he were to help them then....

Merlin smiled and asked " And why are you seeking me out? "

Ryu chuckled " To join us of course. You see we aren't from this world and I am sure you have figured that out but.....aren't you curious as to where we are from? "

Merlin nodded " To be honest i did figure that out. You don't possess Magic nor do you have any Holy and Demonic powers but a strange power revolves within you. And frankly that power scares me."

Ryu laughed " Hahaha.... as expected of someone like you. Anyway, I want you to join us Merlin. There is a lot of mysteries out there, new magic, new knowledge and things that are far beyond your imagination. That's what I am offering you, so what will be your choice be? "

Merlin was tempted, it was in her bones to seek new knowledge. Taking an analogy, if Madara seeks out strong opponents then what Merlin seeks is Knowledge.

Seconds later she sighed " Sorry. I am tempted by your offer but...

She looked at her friends and said resolutely " My friends are even more important to me."

Hearing her answer Arthur and the rest felt warm. They were slightly nervous about how Ryu would react to such Frank rejection but contrary to their expectations he laughed.

" Hahaha..... Excellent. How about it Madara. Are you satisfied now? "

Madara snorted and kept silent.

Merlin was confused seeing Ryu's reaction.

Ryu " You see, our team don't just randomly recruit members. We will never entrust our backs to those we don't trust! You have proven that you are worth someone we can trust."

Merlin commented " I still won't join you."

Ryu waved his hands " I know. You have too many burden in this world, right?. The holy war, her curse, his curse but..... what if I can solve all of this? Will you join us then? "

Merlin's eyes brightened " Really? "

Ryu " Why not? Everything started because of the difference between The Supreme Deity and The Demon King. Their differences were spread among their kin and thus brought about constant conflict for thousands of years.

Once that conflict is over, then peace will come about. I can kill both of them and make your friends stronger thus making their safety no longer an issue. As for their curse..... I can break it now if you want. Fair enough? "

Ryu's words stunned everyone. Even Meliodas was shocked hearing he would kill both The Supreme Deity and his father The Demon King.

Meliodas warned sternly " Kill the Demon King? That's not easy."

Ryu shrugged " Just relax. You are worried about my strength right? If I can break both of your curse then you will be relieved, right? "

Meliodas nodded. Ryu flicked his fingers. Two orbs of light shot out of his fingers. Both of them quietly submerged within Elizabeth's and Meliodas's body.

Their body was covered in runes. Meliodas being an outstanding Warrior could feel some kind of constraint on him being withered away by the Energy Ryu shot out. He could feel his body lighten.

Several seconds later the runes disappeared, Meliodas was pleasantly surprised. His face showed shock, happiness and relief. He turned around to face Elizabeth.

Elizabeth was now staring at Meliodas with caring eyes. Tears trickled down her face, she remembered. She remembered all of her past memories, she remembered those days where he was beside her, she remembered his despair when she died Infront of him.

Elizabeth walked towards Meliodas, a second layer she broke out into a sprint.

Meliodas hugged Elizabeth. He felt his heart at peace, no words could describe how much he longed for this moment.

Elizabeth hugged him tightly, afraid to let go. She kept crying constantly. The pain bottled inside her heart for centuries broke out, now they will forever be together.

Ryu coughed " It's nice that you are finally together. So Merlin, what's your choice? "

Merlin was shocked again, she expected Ryu to spend some time to break the curse considering the strength of the Demon King and the Supreme Deity but who would have thought he would break it so easily.

' Just how strong is he? '

This question emerged in her mind. She recalled what Ryu said before... Knowledge, Magic, things far beyond imagination...

Merlin took a deep breath " If you can achieve all that you have promised, then Yes. I will join your team."

Ryu laughed " Excellent. Now then, gather all of your comrades. It's time to make them strong."

Merlin nodded, she snapped her fingers, several projectiles were shot through the horizon. This was a method to summon the other Sins. It wasn't strong magic nor can it collect information but it was nigh impossible for anyone to intercept it.

Ryu looked around the destruction caused by Galland and the Sins fight. He placed his hand on the ground.

Everyone apart from Madara had their jaws hit the floor seeing what was happening. The destroyed town was swallowed by the earth and new buildings rose in their place. Ryu used his memory as well as those from around him to remake the town.

In an instant the destroyed town was repaired. Ryu dusted his hands and said nonchalantly

" Now the mess is cleared, Let's wait inside."
