Chapter 166 - Alone

Seeing that Hestia was getting angry at Lili, Ethan shook his hand to make her understand everything was okay, he didn't mind because Lili couldn't understand the reasons why this moment between Ais and Lefiya should be serious, and even if he would explain it, he felt this was unnecessary.

"While this girl runs out of tears, how about we start doing the dishes?"

Now with the curry practically ready to eat, all they had to do was divide it into equal parts. Even though it wasn't hard to handle it alone, Ethan wanted the two of them to have a few moments 'alone' while without the slightest sense of shame, Ethan was still stroking Lefiya's hair, and that was obviously felt by the latter too, but differently from other times Lefiya knew his gesture was a way of trying to help her manage her emotions, which she sincerely appreciated from the bottom of her heart.

At his words, Hestia and Lili had understood well what he wanted to do and without hesitation Hestia went to the pot while Lili, having found herself alone all of a sudden, ran to Hestia while shouting "Wait, Hestia-sama" and while all this happened, Ethan smiled for the umpteenth time before taking his hand off Lefiya's head but, before he could go to the duo that was already dividing the curry in parts, Ethan could notice Ais was still focused on him, which led him to sigh before laying the hand that had just finished reassuring Lefiya, on Ais' head.

The action caused Ais to lower her head slightly with her eyes closed, and while this was happening, Ethan added one last thing before leaving the two alone

"You can reply to her feelings without worrying too much, Ais. Even if you don't fully understand the reason behind her actions, try to reflect on them a bit more, and you will find your answer"

Having not even finished saying these words, Ethan was already heading towards Hestia and Lili while Ais, to his words was puzzled. As he had guessed and specified, Ais couldn't fully understand the reason for Lefiya's actions, but her embrace, had the effect of warming her heart, even though she believed Ethan was the only one with this kind of power, Ais had just realized this was more dependent on the reasons why a thing was done, and on the person doing the action, more than the action itself. This concept was very difficult for Ais to grasp at the very first time she felt such a sensation, but although this was the case, she decided to let her hands naturally wrap Lefiya's neck, while the latter did the same, only with her hands wrapping her back.

After about 10 minutes, Ethan knew there was nothing left but to eat and, just as he was about to call Ais and Lefiya, he saw the two taking respectively the places on his right and on his left...

Once they all sat down, Ethan noticed Maple wasn't tall enough to reach the table from the chair and this led him to take Maple's plate and put it on the ground so that it would be easier for her to eat.

Although the latter had the option of using her two legs as a support, the idea of forcing her in this uncomfortable situation just to eat wasn't good to Ethan, who therefore decided he would also find a solution for this problem in the future..

But this wasn't all that happened during their dinner. Back in his place, in fact, sketches of conversations had started and even if at the beginning the atmosphere was very awkward, the latter went smoothing over time and, by the end of the dinner, the strange group had managed to have a conversation almost normal, until..

"...Ah, now that we're done with dinner, I would love to bathe..."

Hestia, taken from the conversation they were having, was gradually relaxed in time and, not expecting such a thing from Lili, the latter's mind was convinced what she had said was only natural.

"True, I would love to have a nice, relaxing bath right now..."

Hearing Hestia and Lili's, even Lefiya and Ais had thought the same, but seeing none of them had yet realized they could bathe together, Ethan raised his hand before adding

"I thought about this already and reached the conclusion I would go and try the new bathroom... but you're free to bathe whenever you want..."

Although this thought was directed to himself, Ethan could only whisper this in an audible voice, though no one else was present in the room where he was currently.

This was because after saying there was the possibility of having a bath all together, chaos had broken out in Ethan's kitchen. The idea of 'bathing together' in fact, was something only Lili and Ais wholeheartedly approved while Hestia and Lefiya, realizing where their conversation would go, had both immediately specified it was highly embarrassing, and as Lefiya suggested, maybe it was better for Ethan, Ais and Lili to have a bath and then later Lefiya and Hestia would take the opportunity to have the bath themselves, but the situation didn't go exactly as planned, in fact the idea had been rejected by Ethan himself.

This is because Ethan, in addition to not wanting Hestia and Lefiya to feel pressured by not being able to 'meet his expectations', he preferred the girls wouldn't separate into 'groups' even before a friendship could be born between them.

And that's what brought Ethan to the room that he discovered in addition to the normal bathroom, consisting of a small shelf where he could store medicine, another one where he could store various clothes and another one just for towels, but besides that, what interested him the most was the floor, because even though he didn't know what kind of material it was, it was different from what covered the whole house, and he didn't know why.

But other than that, Ethan decided it wasn't time to lose himself in trivial thoughts and, starting to undress, he was now completely n.a.k.e.d and about to enter the shower.

Upon entering, he could see the shower wasn't small, but very spacious and comfortable, which he preferred.

But it was just as he had just opened the water that he could feel arms gently wrapping around his neck, with something soft that met Ethan's back.

Although the action frightened him for a moment, Ethan felt the water starting to wet him from the hair and, with this pleasant feeling, Ethan didn't even need to turn around and check to see who was behind him.

"...What are you doing here..Ais?"

To his question, Ais answered without hesitation

"...Bathing alone would be a waste... of water."

When she answered, Ethan sighed. Even though he said he was going to bathe alone and in his heart he was really happy from the fact Ais decided to come here, he had to make sure everything was okay.

"You didn't tell them you're here.. right? I'm trying not to leave Lefiya behind, and that's the only way I came up with..."

Looking in front of him with a slightly annoyed expression, Ethan expected Ais to have run here telling the truth without worries, which would only make things worse for him, but...

"No, I said I didn't feel like... having a bath.."

Her words led Ethan to be surprised, as he didn't expect Ais to lie for him, which caused him to chuckle as Ais pushed him more toward herself..

"I couldn't...leave you alone.."

Realizing Ais was now on the tips of her toes and that she had given her best to be at his side, Ethan smiled before adding

"Don't worry, I'm not mad...since we're here, I say a bath alone doesn't hurt."

Saying this, Ethan turned to look at her and, having the opportunity to make eye contact with her from this distance, Ethan sighed knowing well where this situation would lead, but before doing anything, he added

"I may not be able to control myself if we look at each other like this for a while longer, and I don't think I'll be able to wait until we reach my room or yours...Do you think it's fine?"

Making Ais understand in an indirect way what he was trying to say, Ais didn't immediately answer, instead she carried her lips on his but, instead of stopping only at this, she invaded Ethan's mouth as if it had been a long time since she had felt this sensation, all this accompanied by the usual heat spreading through her cheeks...

Although this was enough to make Ethan understand Ais didn't intend to worry about what he said, she released his mouth after about a whole minute before answering his words

"You don't have to ask... it's our house and everybody knows we're together...idiot"

Saying this with a slightly embarrassed expression, Ais avoided his gaze while Ethan, hearing how Ais addressed to him, he could only chuckle before laying his head against hers

"I understand..then this idiot will make amends for how he stated things..."

At his words, Ais nodded slightly as Ethan who had been embraced by Ais the whole time, reciprocated by slowly bringing his hands to the lower part of her back, very close to her b.u.t.t but instead of a 'normal' movement, he slowly ran his hands along her h.i.p.s, both because he was excited by the idea of what was about to happen, but also because Ais' skin was very delicate, a thing he liked very much to touch, especially with the feeling of slippery that the water was carrying...
