Chapter 118 - Busy

"And, after one hour that Tiona went in your rest-room to check on you, Tione came here with Riveria, but, the latter, told us she just explained--"

Before she was able to finish, Tione stepped in as she immediately added

"There's no need to tell him that as well..!"

Even though she didn't mind at all, it was still something that would make her have a fight with her twin and, she would like to evade doing so as much as possible...

Understanding this as well, made Aki sigh as she added

"By the way, you still didn't reply to our question"

Pointing at Ryuu to make him understand what question she was talking about, Ethan could see that everyone, even Raul, were curious to know why he didn't tell anyone that his last name was Hyogumi.

Ethan knew that he couldn't just tell them that he forgot his last name since birth, so, he decided to directly add

"Yes, I'm sorry if I didn't say anything about this, but, you can just know that it wasn't my intention to 'hide' my last name in any way..."

His reply, made Aki understand that he wanted to keep the reason behind this a secret as she sighed.

"Well, that's fine by me. I'm not in the position to ask you anything at all, so, I'll be satisfied with this reply.."

Saying so, she decided to quickly change the topic of the conversation as she remembered she had to tell him something.

"By the way, Loki wanted to meet you in private after you woke up, so, you should go to her.."

Her words, made Ais shake her head as she wanted to remain with him a little, but, she didn't express her own feelings with words while, unexpectedly, Lefiya added

"I..I h-have to talk in...in private..with you as well!"

Her words, brought a surprised expression on Ethan's face as, he didn't remember she was so bold, but, he wasn't the only one with this thought in mind as nearly everyone in the room was thinking the same.

'The Thousand Elf..is trying to get out of her shell!'

Thinking so, Raul stared at Ethan in shock as, from the first time he saw Lefiya, Raul could already see just how much shy she was..

After a few seconds, Ethan sighed in his mind while nodding.

"Yes..we'll talk later, Lefiya"

"In reality, me and Lili have something to say to you in private as well."

Saying this, Hestia brought her hand on Lili's head while the latter nodded furiously at her words while her tail was waving happily..

Even though he didn't expect the two to have something to say to him as well, Ethan nodded again as he decided it was better to go to Loki first.

Turning his head to look at Ais, he could see that she had her arms wrapped on his own. This, brought a sincere smile on his face as he placed a hand on her cheek.

"I have to tell Loki that I'm fine, and, she probably wants to talk about the Dungeon, and things like this. It won't take long, so... can you wait for me?"

Saying these words in the kindest tone he could manage to do, made Aki look away as this kind of scenes, made her remember things she didn't want to while Ais just nodded in understanding while releasing his arm.

This small exchange, made not only Aki look away, as the second behind her was Raul whom, even though he wasn't jealous of him, still felt like life s.u.c.k.e.d as he would never have been able to be so calm in this kind of situation, while for Ethan, it seemed a piece of cake.

After she did this, Ethan raised from the bed while adding

"...I'm sorry if I made each of you worry about me, and I would have loved to talk more with each of you, but Loki would probably be worried, so, I don't like to keep her waiting like this..."

His words, made everyone shake their head as they all knew well that it wasn't good to keep someone waiting for such an important thing.

Seeing that they understood his reasons like Ais, brought Ethan to smile again as he quickly headed towards the door before he was stopped by Shakti's words.

"Wait, I want to come with you as well. After Loki will be free with you, she has to talk with me.."

Remembering that she was indeed there to talk with Loki, made Ethan nod in understanding as he opened the door. Even though he would have liked to talk with them all a little before going away as they waited for him all this time, he knew that his duty came first...

"Well, now that they're gone, what do we do?"

Asking this rather normal question, Raul was glanced at by everyone else as, the first to reply, was Ryuu.

"I have to return to the Hostess of Fertility to work now that I checked that he's indeed in good health..I'm sorry"

Saying so, she bowed at the last sentence to make them understand it was urgent as Aki immediately shook her hand

"There's no need to apologize, Ryuu. We all know that work comes first, instead, I think he really appreciated the fact you came to check on him, even though you came here to check for a friend.."

"..I see"

Even though she understood what Aki meant by her words, Ryuu was still confused as, the fact Syr wanted her to check on him, made her think it was fine for her to be here, as, she was doing this for Syr, not for herself. But, Although she would have liked to clear the misunderstanding, she thought it was fine to remain things like this as, there was nothing strange in coming to check on an acquaintance's condition, even if Aki wanted to make it clear that she also wanted to check on Ethan's current condition.

Seeing her heading towards the door without adding anything, made Aki sigh as she thought that it was indeed Ryuu herself that was interested in him...

Now that Ryuu was gone, Raul immediately added

"Well, I have to go now as well..if you can excuse me.."

Directing his words towards Aki, he saw as she just nodded before deciding it was better if everyone returned to where they wanted to.

"Yes, I will go as well now.."

Even though he was surprised from the 'Yes', Raul understood why she said so as she wanted to go as well.

Seeing so, made Tione decide to immediately take advantage of the situation to leave in the same way, and this also led Tiona to go back to anything she had to do before as after a few moments, only Hestia, Lili, Lefiya, and Ais were in the room.

Obviously, Hestia and Lili would never go away before the former's plan could be executed. So, this brought Lili to immediately ask

"Can you two lend this room for us until Ethan will be free to talk with us..?"

Thinking about it for a moment, Lefiya knew the two had no real room to stay as the latter quickly stared at Hestia before bowing

"I have no problem about it.."

Her words, made Hestia nod in affirmation as she thanked her for her kindness while Ais stared at Lili.

"It's fine.."

That was all she said before quickly standing up from the bed. Even though Lili wanted to say something more, she saw as Ais quickly exited the room without even giving her the time to continue while Lefiya didn't know what to do as she wasn't confident enough being with the two, and this, made her feel anxious...

"..I..I will go n-now!"

After saying these words, she quickly exited the room while Hestia sighed

"..Well, I hope we don't have to wait for long as I would really like to go to sleep already.."

"You can't, Hestia-sama! You have to ask Ethan.."

Nodding, she looked down as she, right now, wasn't feeling so secure about this anymore, but, she knew that it was too late to feel unsecure..

"Y-Yes, I will do so.."

That was all she said before launching herself on to the bed where Lili was sat a few minutes ago while the latter headed directly for the one where Ethan was sleeping before Hestia decided to add

"...What do you think he may think about you if he finds you on his bed..? I would advise.."

Hearing this, Lili immediately cut her speech with a firm reply.

"I don't care about this now..I want to remember his smell, for the future!"

Her words, brought Hestia to sigh as she knew that it was pretty much useless to stop her, now that she was focused on doing so as she muttered

"...Do as you wish.."

While this was happening in Ethan's temporary rest-room, the latter was on the entrance to Loki's room as he turned to look at Shakti.

"...It won't take too much.."

Nodding, she leaned against the wall while looking away before he knocked on the door.

"...Who is it?"

At this question, Ethan immediately replied

"..Ethan"

Hearing him saying so, Loki immediately opened the door as she saw, in the corner of her eye, Shakti. But, she decided to not mind her for the moment as she had more important things to think about..

After making him enter, Loki closed the door behind herself as she added

"First, I'm glad that you're okay. I am curious to update your status, but that can wait. We have another problem.."

Even though he already knew this was the case from Aki's explanation of the events, Ethan was still surprised by how much anxious she was. And, he knew as well she wouldn't believe, now that such a situation occurred, that it was totally fine now, as even he himself knew it wasn't the case.

This because, he still entered the Dungeon with an entity classifiable as an Ancestor God, and, he remembered that, when Hestia and Hermes entered the Dungeon, the latter behaved similarly..

'I have no way to go to the Dungeon and check the aftermath of our fight, as well as the Dungeon situation as I believe Loki would never allow me to enter the Dungeon if I don't bring her a strong proof that everything is fine now..'

Thinking about this, Ethan knew he had to think carefully about how he will act in the near future while Loki was ready to ask questions and explain many things.
