Chapter 89 - Done

With a few minutes passing, the two didn't move much as both were focused on enjoying the moment. Having his mouth on her head as her hair gently touched him made Ethan smile without even realizing it.

'It's so cute..I feel so satisfied ... the only thing that I need now would be to sleep together... But, unfortunately, this privilege isn't granted to us'

Thinking this, Ethan rubbed his face on her head as she could feel the action as well. Looking up at him, he didn't mind at all as she asked

"Is it..something that I don't know...?"

Being asked this question, he answered while his smile didn't fade in the slightest.

"That's not it..I don't know how many would do this. I just felt I wanted to do it..."

Determined to understand better, she still had her face on his c.h.e.s.t. Rubbing her head against it, she felt it wasn't really different from just staying still to hear his heartbeat..but, at the same time, she could feel it was.

Even though it was a foreign concept that she didn't quite understand, the fact that the simple action of rubbing her head against his c.h.e.s.t could make her feel she was somehow conveying her affection for him, piqued her interest to the extreme.

While she was busy 'exploring' a new world, Ethan couldn't help but bring his hand on her chin to make her look at him before rubbing his nose against hers.

The sudden action made her flinch with a light blush on her face, but, feeling even closer than normal with this simple action made her easily forgive him for being 'unfair' again.

After some seconds, Ethan couldn't help but stop his actions as he laughed happily upon seeing the way she was reacting. Even though the situation became even more sentimental than expected, Ethan was grateful. From the moments with Ais, he 'confirmed' that what he had said before was pure truth.

'It doesn't really matter what kind of thing we do. If it's done with love and affection, nearly everything will appear as romantic. In fact, I think it also gives more meaning to the word itself'

With time passing quickly, the two returned to their previous position as Ais continued to rub her head against his c.h.e.s.t before he brought himself so that he could see her in the eyes.

Even though she didn't expect this, Ais wasn't really troubled by his action. About to ask something, she found herself unable to do so because Ethan gave her a light kiss on the lips.

"I think..we don't really need to take it too hard. You understood this as well now, right? If something contains love, no matter how stupid the action may be, you'll always find it able to warm our heart."

Agreeing with what he said, she didn't reply as his previous kiss made her wanting to return a kiss on her own...

Now with her lips on his, he didn't react at first before deciding to reply. Deciding to take things light, also because he didn't feel there was a need for something more complicated at the moment, he sighed as he released her lips.

'Satisfied' as well, Ais kept her blank expression on her face for some moments until Ethan muttered

"I think a smile suits you better."

Pinching his cheek, her blush returned as she didn't reply to him, again. If they weren't close to each other, Ethan would've guessed she was angry, but, in reality, she was simply 'shy'. Even though the concept of shyness itself was a real 'mystery' in Ais' mind, he didn't really matter in the end as he loved this 'side' of her as well.

Laughing softly, he added

"It hurts, please stop pinching my cheek. I'm not trying to tease you or anything like that, okay?"

Hearing him, she understood he was serious this time as she 'let' his cheek go while he stopped to laugh as a smile formed on his face. Feeling the warmth from being so close with her coming to claim his thoughts again, his seriousness returned as he said

"I love you, Ais"

"I love you too, Ethan"

Her 'reaction' made him ask himself why, in her mind, it wasn't embarrassing to say such a thing while, if he expressed himself differently, she would get 'angry' over it, even though he knew that she really enjoyed what he said...

'Now I understand why they say women are complicated...'

Deciding to not mind it, Ethan brought her closer while she didn't add anything more.

Letting his thoughts wander, he continued to held her tightly as time passed quickly with the atmosphere in the tent slowly returned as usual..

With the 2 hours passed, Finn immediately exited the tent as he saw that most adventurers were already present, but, his first thought was obviously his familia.

Nodding with a smile, he saw that nearly everyone from his familia as well were already there, the only ones missing were...

'I don't see Ais, and Ethan..?'

'There's no way..right?'

With a sarcastic smile, he went to his group as the first one to say something was Riveria.

"It seems that few of us are still missing...should I go to call them?"

Knowing what she meant, Finn nodded his head as she saw her heading towards Ethan's room...

'I can't tell her not to go..I'm sorry, Ethan, Ais..'

Apologizing to the two in his mind, he decided to have a small talk with the twin sisters to check up on them before Tsubaki stepped in as she said

"Your new core member is clever, you know? He said he's going to be a supporter if monsters too strong for him will spawn"

With a nod, he wasn't surprised by his decision. He knew from the start that Ethan was clever but, what really surprised him was the fact that he let go of his pride for the moment. Even though he didn't know him that well, just by exchanging words a few times was enough for him to understand this trait of his personality.

'I guess he understood quickly how the Dungeon works...'

"He decided to defend against what he can, while if the monster is too strong, support the stronger to let him or her deal with it easily. That's the best strategy for someone of his level and I have to say it as well, he really is clever."

His words made her sigh as she looked towards her own familia's members.

"Let's try to protect them when the situation gets out of hand!"

'Shouting' this, she immediately went away as Finn sighed. Even though it wasn't good to say such things, Finn didn't mind at all as he nodded his head.

His duty as the Captain was to protect his familia even if he didn't want to, so, her words only made him smile as she made him remember to protect him at the best of his ability...

Knowing it was time to go, he exited the futon as he took his clothes out. He could've dressed himself with the System but, after the 'intense' moments they had together, he felt it was only right to take it slow before returning to seriously think about the situation they were in.

After he was done, he turned his head to look at Ais, but, seeing she was still n.a.k.e.d brought him to sigh as he wanted to 'scold' her.

"We have to go soon. Don't you want to prepare..?"

"I'm enjoying this...a bit more"

Her 'firm' reply surprised him as he expected something different...

'Is she like..saying indirectly that this tent is a special place now?'

Thinking about this for a moment made him look down as he approached her. Staring at him, she didn't say anything while he took her head in his.

"You know..we will create a lot of memories. It's not like we'll never be here again..right?"

His words made her think about it as she tightens the grip on his hand

"Yes..I know. I just.. want to enjoy this..for a little more.."

Even though he wasn't sure about the 'reasons' for this, he decided to go with the flow as he returned to the futon with her.

"Just a little..after that, you'll get dressed, and we'll go.."

While this situation was going on between the two, Riveria was now approaching his tent as she was quite hesitant to step in. She really didn't want to see something she shouldn't, but she couldn't help but think it was alright, mainly because in her lessons, she told them to evade having s.e.x until they knew each other better.

Now in front of Ethan's tent, she tried to hear in to hear if there was some kind of noise, but, hearing them happily talking made her 'sigh' in relief. With this, she put the 'option' of the two having s.e.x in the back of her mind as she inhaled...

Without much problem, Riveria said

"Ethan, Ais, we have to go."

With some seconds passing, she could understand she was being ignored. Mainly because she knew how easy it was for the sound to get through the fragile material of which the tents are made. Thinking for a second the two weren't in there, she decided to just enter the tent and check for herself.

Upon entering the tent, the first thing she saw was Ais clinging on Ethan as his look could tell that she was only looking at the girl in front of her, without minding the rest of the world. Even if shaken for an instant by the look he had, she immediately composed herself as she added

"I see. First it was Lefiya and now it's you two. I guess you really don't like to live..."

These words made Ethan flinch in 'fear' as he 'finally' looked at her while she kept her gaze on him without even flinching while his brows twitched.

Gulping, he got out of the futon as he added, with a hint of guilty in his voice

"Sorry, it was my fault..."

With this, Ethan expected Riveria to lend a blow on him with her staff...but, what he didn't expect, was that she decided to 'let him off' for the moment while adding some points to clarify what she thought about the situation...

"It's fine, right now we have other things to care about...But don't worry, I won't forget about it. Returning to the main topic, I have some points to clarify. The first is, I would like to know why Ais is n.a.k.e.d, but that can wait until we return. The second is, we can't just keep waiting for you two. So we have to hurry. And third, you made a good choice in choosing the supporter role if something goes wrong. I'll be able to protect you way better"

Her words brought him to nod while Ais, without minding the two, walked n.a.k.e.d in the tent to get her clothes...

Seeing this as well, Riveria couldn't help but continue her speech

"We have to give her a proper understanding of s.e.x, otherwise it will be bad"

Adding this, Riveria didn't look at him while she headed back towards the exit..,

"Do not take too much time, I'll be waiting..."
