Chapter 172 - Reason

"Talking about qualification Reva, you are not able to compare with Shanaya, sorry you might feel it offending, but Shanaya goes to a prestigious college, and she knows much more than you. And to be honest, I don't need to discuss anything with you, I think you need to learn some patience so from tomorrow you will go and supervise the construction site" Mahendra after this conversation refuse to talk with her. 

Previous Reva feels too bad after listing these words, but now when Reva herself does business for years she understands, Mahendra uses the softest word to tell her the truth.

Her boss is someone who is not used to get orders and here she is ordering him. She is too lucky that her boss doesn't fire her. 

But there is another thing, which is her boss might be in love with Shanaya now, she also knows that boss's family wanted him to marry Shanaya. Shanay is a perfect match for her boss, she is beautiful, intelligent, smart, and comes from a good background. Unlike Reva, who don't even know who are her parent. Thinking this Reva feel little disappointment, 

"but your boss still loves you" System can't stand Reva's this negative thinking and try to cheer her. 

"I don't know if he really love me system, that time he is not with Shanaya, those people who are always there are not with him, maybe it is his gratefulness towards me, who knows?' Reva said. 

Shanaya left her boss after her boss's company is started to get bankrupt. that is the time when her boss needed her most, be she don't care.

After that things started to go worse. Reva stands with her boss firmly, but she only has loyalty. She is not a able to support him anyhow. She mostly only can talk some good words to him. Reva now thinking this doesn't feel her boss truly loves her. 

"but his all version tell you this" system tries to resonate with his opinion. 

"They don't know the full story, and it might be that they are just too much in love with me that their opinions are somewhat muddleheaded" Reva replied. 

"So if you don't help in the dam project, then he might again get bankrupt, and then he can see true colors of Shanaya, and when he is in need you can show him your true love, this way you both will end up happily" System at first don't want to give this idea, but he is not able to see Reva so sad. 

"If I don't do anything for the project I feel guilty for those who lost their lives and also who lost their jobs due to the after-effect. And seeing him loving someone happily, is less painful than seeing him with me with so much humiliation and pain" Reva said, she still remembers how her boss look before his death.

He lost all his playfulness, his aura, his smile. Reva at any cost doesn't want to see him like this again. 

"You are crazy" System can't help but say, but in his heart, he is feeling a little proud of Reva. He choose a good person who is not selfish, or even stupid. 

"So what is your plan?" System can't help but question Reva. 

"For now I wanted to concentrate on remembering as much as I can, then I try my best to get the dam project get successful and after it, I will study the situation, if the boss is really happy with her, then I might leave the job," Reva said. On which system don't comment. 

Reva was still in her thought when someone knock on her door, she looks towards the door and found Raj come with police officers.

Raj questions her about her health, and after knowing that she is doing well, the police started to ask her questions. Reva answer them very well. After that the police take her leave. Raj also goes with them. 

Reva thinks that he will not return, but after some minutes he returns. 

"So how are you ?" Raj questions. 

"better" Reva said with an enerjetic voice. Raj smiled at her this action. 

Raj is one of the secretaries Mahendra has, Mahendra has mainly three secretaries, one is Mr. Sinha who is more like an advisor to him, the second is Raj who is also boss of Reva, but due to the age gap between them is not much, they call each other by there name instead to calling each other sir or mam, or by there surname. 

The third person is Mrs. Kartiki, she is a brilliant lady, instead of saying she is the assistant of Mahendra, it might be correct to say that she is his mentor. She is the one who mostly take decisions about the fashion business which has under there company. Reva doesn't interact much with Kartiki, and she doesn't even remember how Kartiki ended up in her previous life. Now Mahendra has one extra secretary which is Shanaya. Thinking this Reva smile bitterly. 

"I don't know that my assistant is such a wonderful girl," Raj said seeing Reva is in her thoughts. 

"Of course I am wonder girl" Reva join him in this. 

"hmm, you should take care of yourself, and get better soon, there is so much work piled up for you," Raj said. 

"Sorry Mr. Raj but I am going to work for Mr. Veer," Reva said looking at him. 

"You,.... you create drama first, and now.....anyway it is better, Veer is a nice person, and you can learn many things from him" Raj remembers Shanaya and think Reva should stay away from her.

Raj understands Reva's feelings, but to be honest there is a big gap between the boss and Reva. He knows about Mahendra's dating history and understands in the end even if Reva can hook up with Mahendra, she is the one who will be miserable. 

After all the great Sen family will never be able to accept an orphan like Reva as their daughter-in-law.
