Chapter 55 - 2.7

Anu quickly goes and buys a syrup on fever and cold. When she goes out of the auto, Raj once again wakes up and feels scared again. But seeing Anu coming back, and also seeing Sidharth near him, he feels relaxed. She also bought two Chocolate and she stuffs them in the children's mouth.

When Anu returns home, she quickly finds a towel and dry Raj's hair, she also tells Sidharth to do that. Then she quickly goes inside and finds her two t-shirts. Thankfully Anu has two oversized t-shirts. And they can be used as gowns for children. She tells them to change the clothing while she will make something for them.

But when Anu goes into the kitchen, the electricity is gone. Anu understands it is due to the cyclone. Children also get scared. Anu quickly on her torch from her phone. And tell children not to panic. Children seeing her quickly changes the clothes, Sidharth takes the wet clothes and asks Anu where to put them.

Anu takes the clothe form him and put in the bucket of the bathroom, then she tells children to sit in the kitchen, she quickly started to make tea. She first adds tea powder and sugar and then She adds some cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger which she previously smashed in it. After that, she adds some milk to it. She bought a big box of biscuits, so she decided to serve them.

But she also understands that she can't give them very hot tea. In case the spill is on then it might be dangerous. She put the tea down and call Sidharth and Raj to drink it. Sidharth first takes biscuits and started to feed Raj. Anu tells him to eat himself and she will feed Raj. After feeding them she tells them that she will cook something. But that time her phone shows a low battery warning. She quickly with the memories of old Anu find out the candle.

But it is quite difficult to cook with the candle, and what more they only have a little candle, the rain outside is too much. Thankfully they come home early.

"We can eat the biscuits didi" Sidharth replied seeing her difficulty.

"You can eat those biscuits but it very less for both of you. Raj is sick. so he also needs more food. And you too" Anu replied. She decided to cook something quickly thankfully she bought some instant oats. She quickly makes three packets of them, she won't know why but she also started to feel hungry.

After that, she quickly makes it, and then also severs it. This time Raj tells her that he can it himself. Anu can say now his voice is somewhat energetic. After eating she feed him medicine. Anu feeds him as the pharmacist described.

After that, she realized that the original Anu don't even have a bed, and only has one blanket and two bedsheets.

"Sidharth and Raj you both need to bundle up with me today, as I only have one blanket okay?" Anu questioned. On which children nodded. Anu sees the candle is also going to finish so he quickly tells them to use the washroom so they can sleep. Anu also wipes Raj's face with a towel soak in some hot water.

After the trio use washroom, Anu fills a water bottle for them in case they feel thirsty at the night. She also checks if the door is locked and the gas is completely turn off and all the switches are turned off. And then the trio goes to sleep. Anu sleeps on one side while hugging the little Raj. She at first doesn't think that Raj feels comfortable with her. But to her surprise, he also hugs her.

Anu sees Sidharth who is trying to minimize his presence, she remembers that he is also injured. She doesn't have any ointment for wounds. But she has painkiller spray and moisturizer. She find out it and asks Sidharth to come near her. He doesn't know what she wanted to do but do as she asked.

"Where is hurting?"She questioned.

"Huh?" He doesn't understand.

"Those people try to beat you right? you get injured that time right?" Anu questions. Raj gets surprised after listening to this.

"What brother are you get injured?" Raj asked while waking up in his childish voice.

"No" Sidharth replied. But Anu remembers to see a wound on his hand. She applies some moisturizer to it. The moisturizer has antiseptic properties, she doesn't understand it will help or not. But leaving it as it is quite problematic.

Sidharth wanted to sleep on the floor as the blanket is quite little for them. But Anu stretches her hand and pulls him into the blanket. Sidharth again gets surprised but doesn't say anything.

Anu feels that children might feel difficult to sleep and she too as it is a new place for her, yesterday she is too drunk that she doesn't know when she falls asleep. But she doesn't about today. But they all are too tired that they quickly fall asleep.

The next day when Anu wakes up it is quite late. But she is feeling quite refreshed. She quickly checks the boy near her and finds out his fever is gone, he is completely safe. She can't help but feels happy.

She goes to the washroom and completes her morning routine. When she comes out she sees Sidharth is already wake up and he is trying to fold the blanket.

"Baby, if Raj is sleeping let him sleep and you can also sleep for some hours? or do you have school today, but I can not send you school today as we don't have your uniform." Anu said while coming near Sidharth.

"Is ... I am also going to live with you?" Sidharth asked the question which he wanted to ask. From childhood, he never has his own home.

His father died in a fight when he is just six months old, his grandparents from both sides consider him bad luck. His mom wanted to get rid of him and once intentionally leave him behind when he is just three years old. That time uncle Ram helps him. Who is Anu's father.

After that, his mom takes advantage of him. And somehow manage to marry him. But after marrying him she realizes that Ram is not rich. After the birth of Raj, she started to vent her anger about everything on Ram and Sidharth. Ram is grown up so he can fight back.

But Sidharth is too young to do anything.
