Chapter 42 - New Home

The new home is quite big. It has a very big kitchen, with all new and old types of applications and instruments. What Reva likes most is they have a special pantry for them.

There are many rooms. Also, there is a big swimming pool and a big garden. There is also a temple of Ganpati Bappa(God), which is way too beautiful. The garden has many types of plants, There is also a swing there. Reva can't stop her smile from seeing this, But there is another surprise for her. In the bedroom there is a big wardrobe, full of clothes, Reva in both of her life never has so many clothes.

She is a firm believer in downsizing and minimization, but still, she falls for this wardrobe.

Children also see a room full of toys and can't keep hide there smile, they are too happy that it is quite difficult for Neha to control them.

Neha knows this house, this is the house where she lives with her husband and Mahendra when he is a child. Later they shift. But Mahendra likes to come here. Grandpa also spend lots of his life here. Also, she already lives in this type of place so nothing is new for her, but seeing Reva and children so happy she also feels excited.

The housekeeper seeing their happy expression feels satisfied. Grandpa before going for his treatment tells him to arrange the wardrobe and toy room for children, and Mahendra also likes this idea. But he doesn't know will the wife of Mahendra will like it, but seeing her so happy and praising them for taking care of the home, he also feels too happy.

They are not even wanted to return to their old house, but they also understand that this house needs to make some changes for them, so they unwillingly return home. Children can't help but ask so many questions while returning, and most of them are answered by Neha. Aditi who is previously scared of Neha now started to admire Neha.

When Mahendra returns home he gets rewarded with kisses from children, they describe the house in such a way that even Mahendra feels that the house is way beautiful, he also gets infected by their happiness.

In just two days, they shifted to the new house. Mahendra also go for shopping with his whole family. Neha now becomes a full-time caretaker of children, she also realizes that taking care of children is not an easy thing. Anyway, due to Neha, Reva and Mahendra get their time, they hold hands and roam in a shopping mall.

Mahendra never even in his dream think that buying fruits and vegetables can give him such joy, now he understands happiness is nothing else but to find joy in little things.

The day when grandpa arrives, Mahendra realized that his grandpa is looking more vital. He understands at this age, his grandpa wanted to be with him. He remembers those days when he is little, and his mom dad leaves him with grandpa, he always wanted to follow grandpa. Even if he scolds him, Mahendra still follows him.

Being old is like being a child again, it just you have some illness attach to your body, you are somewhat moodier, but you want attention. When he is a child, his grandpa is with him, so now when his grandpa needs him, he will be sure with him.

Children also get too happy seeing grandpa, unlike their grandparents, this grandpa is too good,d not only he don't scold them, but also talks with them with love. And gives them lots of gifts.

Neha is too worried, but seeing her ex-father-in-law giving her a smile, she feels relaxed.

After grandpa comes home, their life becomes more exciting, children sometimes act unruly, but either Reva or Mahendra scolds them, but Neha and grandpa are there to spoil them.

Mahendra also started to do automation of his business, he hire some new people for helping whim. He decided he will do his work as an adviser. Even though he is soul hair, his father, never give him the full right of his other company, indeed he has shared in those companies, but they are not much.

Previously Mahendra might think about that, but now he is not interested in gaining more share or anything. This company is something which he starts with Arvind. He spends his youth on this company, it is like his own child, so he is not willing to let it bankrupt even after his death.

Arvind is a good friend and a good person, but in business, he is not that smart, he is not very much focus on business, also he is 2 years younger than Mahendra, and he has older brothers and gets pampered by his parents so Mahendra understands that he needs more time to mature.

Mahendra started to give more authority to Arvind, Arvind at first wanted to avoid responsibility, but he also knows how much Mahendra loves this company, and now he is going to work as an adviser in he needs to work hard. Mahendra also rewarded his employees that year with a bonus.

Mahendra understand by doing automation and giving bonus he will not get many benefits, but he already earns very much through this company, now he wanted to return it. In long run it gonna beneficial for company.

Also, he is not worried about his future, he has some properties, some of them are given on rent, then rent is enough for middle-class family to live comfortably, also with that he has an investment in stocks and also some startup. There are some big deposits in the bank in his name.

So even if he doesn't work he has enough money to spend his life leisurely, but he understands that the happiness he got from work also matters to him. Indeed he wanted to spend more time with Reva but also he understands you should need something to work on.

This way he started a new chapter of life.
