Chapter 9 - Past Life

Reva stops running once she reaches far away from the place, she can't able to stand still, she is not dreaming, her boss is also in this world, her heart is beating so loudly.

After calming down her emotions. She realized one more thing that it is not her world, it may be not her boss, she and the Reva of this world are too different, so her boss is also not the same.

While she is thinking about this she doesn't notice her surrounding, their is which car drove very fast, thankfully her reaction is also fast, so she quickly come outside the way of the car, but the car bump on a road and she see the owner of the car coming out of the car and seeing her she again froze because it is no one else but her boss's ex.

The world is round, this is the only thought she has in her mind.

She is in this world for two months, but today she sees two important sorry one important and one unfortunately important person in her life. She decided to go back, she needs some time alone. While going home, she can't help but think about her past life.

In her past life, she is an orphan, she works very hard for getting a good education because she thinks that only getting a good job guaranteed her a good future, she even though grow up in a somewhat depressing environment she is still a positive person.

She remembers how she meets her boss, she is also like this Reva, it just she is not in love with anyone, but when she got her first job as a junior clerk she realized that she is not good enough, she started to get low self-esteem, so she also realized that only by doing hard work she can be more confident, so she works hard every day, her salary at that time is too low, so she often skips her breakfast, one day her workload is too much, and she doesn't even eat anything so while she is going to do something, she fainted in the corridor.

That day fortunately for her, her boss forgot his keys and come back to take that, her boss love speed and he own lots of car, and he also loves to drive them so he never has a driver. That day he sees her faint, lying on the ground, he feels pity towards her and takes her to the hospital.

Reva remembers that she wakes up in the middle of the road and scream when she found herself in the car. Her boss gets startled and stops the speedy car, due to the sudden break she again lost her balance and bumps her head.

She wanted to beat the man, but when she sees his face, she froze.

"too handsome" She still remembers those embarrassing words she says after seeing her boss.

"Young lady are you alright?" It is what her boss asks her with a chuckle, after that she realized that in which state she is, she tries to act normal, and sit properly.

"What I am doing here Mr….." Reva that time try to say in a very polite tone.

"Why don't you think you get kidnapped?" her boss questioned her.

"UMM…. Such a beautiful man and with such a beautiful car why will kidnap me?" Reva said while trying to sound as honest as she can because when she wakes up she really thinks that she is kidnapped.

"Ohhh. .... I am Mahendra Sen, I found you in an unconscious state in the lobby, you don't have an id or anything and also you have a high fever, so I take you to the hospital, we are still midway when you gain your consciousness" Mahendra aka her boss said with a smile.

Reva is too indulg in his voice, in his smile, and the way he drives his car, it can say it is very very sexy. But when she heard the name Mahendra Sen she realizes who is he.

"Big boss...." Reva again screams, but this time her boss is well prepared.

"let me concentrate on driving," her boss says to her, and again start the car, Reva shut her mouth and see her sexy boss.

"Don't stare at me like that, close your eyes and sleep, we will be there in five minutes" She again heard her boss saying.

"…." Reva does as instructed.

After that they reach a hospital, Boss tells her to do a checkup, but Reva hesitated, this hospital is too famous, she understands going here even for a minor thing is gonna take her whole month's salary. But her boss forces her, the doctor after checking her give her some supplement and tells her to eat properly. After that, they leave.

She sees that she doesn't need to pay, so this must be paid by her boss.

"boss thank you, I will pay you back when I get the salary," Reva said as a formality, she knows such a rich man must not lack some money.

"okay tells me your account number, and I will tell the hr department to cut it from your salary"

"What.….you are so rich why are acting stingy" Reva murmur the last word.

Mahendra really feels amused, indeed he really don't care much about the little money, and why he help this girl is due to first he is going to visit his sister in the hospital so taking her with him, is not much task, and the second he also sees this girl often go out late form office, and he doesn't know why he wanted to help her but whatever, due to that he ended up laughing so much, which is not bad.

"Okay, Okay I am just joking, but you should eat more, your working hard is good, but your body comes first okay, so take care," Her boss says with a smile, and left her after giving her the bag of medicine, she also find some money in that, she knows this must go back, but this money is too much, she decided to pay back her boos once she becomes rich.

After that Reva started to work hard, but this time she has another goal with her, which somehow becomes useful for her boss, after that day she googles her boss, listens to his speeches, and she realizes that many girls are a fan of her boss. She also joins the fangirls group.

The reason why her boss is so famous is partially due to his handsome face, he has a very structured face, due to his jawline he looks so sexy, he uses his glasses which somehow hide his emotions, but it gives him the aura of a mature smart person. He has clear skin, which even girl will envy for, but why she knows in such detail, about his skin, because once he has a fever and in comma state, that time she takes advantage of being alone, and touch his smooth face.

Thinking about her boss a blush appear on her cheek, and thankfully at that time, she reaches her home.

She also remembers those good days she spends with them, but then Shanaya comes, no no she is always there, it just Reva always thinks her a good person before.

Reva and Shanaya start their career in this company at the same time, but Shanaya is the daughter of an ex-employee, who attempt suicide in a fraud case.

Reva doesn't know the details, but she knows that her boss treated Shanaya specially, at first not like a lover, but after time goes, Shanaya who is very beautiful and smart attract her boss, or this is what Reva understand that time.

But lots of the time Shanaya also does things that are not morally good, Reva sometimes sees Shanaya with another man, and she feels that something is wrong with that. And indeed there is something wrong. Shanaya cheated on her boss.

The reason for the downfall of their company is due to three reasons, one is the project of Pragati, Shanaya, and the fall in the share market. Reva remembers the project Pragati, is a project of a dam, which if get successful, can change the future of lots of people.

But unfortunately, it gets unsuccessful, and cost the life of lots of people, with this failure and the many attempts of the opponent and also due to back stabbed by own people, neither her boss, nor the company able to survive, but that not what takes her boss to death, it is Shanay's cheating which leads him to death, she does some very bad things which make her boss mentally unstable.

And where Reva all this time, she is silently trying to protect her boss, but with her position, knowledge, and power, she doesn't even change a single thing.. Due to this reason Shanaya never considers her threat, she calls her simple pawn, but this simple pawn is the reason for their downfall too.
