As they were hurrying along the way they stumbled upon a dead end. There was nothing but a wall which end to the way.

"Did we take a wrong turn? How come is it a dead end?" Desella had a strange expression.

Severus was astonished too. He was sure that he followed the right direction but they still met with a dead end.

"Shut up Desella" It was the first time Severus ever yelled on Desella.

All the anxiety and frustration is taking its toll on him and at this juncture even the most patient man would have lost his composure.

Tears welled inside her eyes as she was yelled upon. She was aware that this scolding was not for her but still she felt hurt. She hurriedly wiped her tears using her sleeves. However no matter how swift her actions were, Severus still saw it. He felt guilty for yelling on her.

"I am sorry Desella"

Desella smiled as she nodded her head in understanding.

Feeling frustrated over his shortcoming Severus pinched himself until pain brought his senses back.

This will not help. I need to think or else it will be too late.

What should I do?

Without noworry this situation is already worse.

Severus stood there quietly as he closed his eyes and observed his nearby surroundings.

I need to focus on energy flow. If that woman had used magic then traces are found to be left. I just need to find them.

As Severus was studying the energy flow he felt strange vibrations coming from the wall. It was as if wind chimes were playing in the air but this was the end of the alley. Forget about wind chimes, not even a bird was present. It was utterly odd. As if he understood something he instantly opened his eyes.

"Found her"

Severus grasped Desella's hand and left towards the wall. Desella was horrified. She knew she wouldn't suffer any damage but the same was not the case with Severus. He will surely bleed if he gets hit by a wall.

"What?"

Desella screamed in horror but before she could finish her word a white light blinded her.  Even Severus closed his eyes and used his hand to shield her eyes. The white light was blinding to the point that it even hurt them when their eyes were closed. Soon the white light started fading and when it completely faded they both opened their eyes. Severus saw a familiar scene.

Desella was so shocked that her eyes were popping out from her socket. She observed that they both were standing at the same intersection where the old woman had parked her cart.  To add more to her shock even the same cart was present there and that old woman too. She was sitting on her chair with a peaceful smile on her face.

"Hello dear. We meet again"

"...."

AHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA

Desella screamed on top of her lungs.

"....."

"...."

"Stop screaming Desella. At this rate my ears will bleed"

Desella didn't pay any heed to what Severus said since she was shocked. She didn't know what to believe and what not to.

"What?"

"How?"

"You...Why did you disappear suddenly?"

"What the hell is going on?"

Desella asked continuous questions.

Severus noticed his surroundings and observed that everything was the same as it was but the travel through the wall was evidence that this wasn't the real world. It was an illusion created by this old woman. He observed that everything looked the same as it did in the real world but their directions were opposite. It was like a world of reflection. It took Severus less than a minute to tell that this was all illusion.

"This is a reflection of the real world. Isn't it?" Severus asked.

The old lady smiled mischievously. "Not bad at all. You guessed it right"

"Who are you missing?" It was Desella who asked the question this time.

"Oh lovely girl or...should I address you as a will. Tch a pitiful soul"

Desella stiffened when she heard the old woman's remark. This was a secret that was only known to Severus. She was sure that this woman was a stranger even to Severe thus there was no cache that Severus could be the one to tell about her real identity.

This woman was dangerous .

"I guess if you are aware about Desella then you must also know about me" Severus smirked.

"Ahem...why so? Why did you think I would know you?"

"Nothing I am just guessing"

"Oh"

"So did you guess your way in this world, dear Severus?" The old woman asked .

"This isn't another world granny"

"Oh is it?"

"You just created your own space in the original space of this world and hid it using spells. Didn't you?"

"Impressed"

"I don't care whether you are impressed or-impressed with me. Tell your intentions clearly or else I am afraid I need to use violent methods that I don't want to."

"I request you"

Severus bowed respectively as his one hand was on his sword whereas the other was e=nclosed in a fist.

The old woman sighed.

"Get up lad. I mean no harm"

Severus stopped up with vigilance still in his eyes.

The old lady led them to an open garden. The garden was beautiful with olive trees and beautiful flowers. Bamboo sofas were placed there and a teapot was placed on the side table. She gestured for them to take a seat.

Desella glanced at Severus. She saw how obediently he sat thus he followed the suit and sat near Severus.

"So let me start with my introduction. My name is Glen and I know nesseyes. I know you are curious about me but don't fear. I have a special motive to come here and meet you."

As she said this she sharply glanced at Severus. "You need to hurry up lad. The evil forces are rising at a fast pace. We didn't see it coming but now we do. It is an extremely harmful and bizarre condition. The whole world is in danger. Chaos is lurking in shadow and he who should not be named is planning something lethal. Something scary. My trip this time is to remind you to fasten your deed so you can focus on your real mission. From the place I am standing I can see things you can't and the only adviceI can give you is, no matter what happens you need  to stay sane. If you get lost in darkness I am afraid you will turn into a monster. This will be a very sad ending and if you surrender to darkness then I can see no future in this world."

Severus was annoyed.

"Why should I care about this world or its people? What have they ever given me? All I ever received is cheating, a failure, a broken heart, no love or care. I was always on the short side. Everyone I love is disappearing or has disappeared and not to be forgotten that there are not many people that I love. Why? Give me a reason to save this world"

Seversu spat through gritted teeths. His anger finally got a path to burst out.

Glen calmly listened to his grievances.

"You were blessed with a new life Severus"

Severus disained. "Did I ask for it?"

"No matter whether you asked or not. The fact remains the same that you were blessed and now you need to pay the price."

Glen picked up her teapot and started brewing tea as she continued  with her words. "I know you are stressed about no worry but guess what? You don't need to worry about him. Isn't it ridiculous you are worrying about someone whose name is no worry"

"....."

"..."

Okay this was ridiculous actually.

"But what if something happens to him….he ..he is unconscious. Even his breathing is so faint. I am afraid I will lose him" Severus whispered.

"Nothing will happen to him, don't worry. That thousand yarn pearl is not harmful but you need to be aware that you can't feed him anything. His body constitution is different from other creatures. Even the divine beast here can't compare with him. I would suggest you to be more careful from next time onwards. That pearl will actually cut his curse but not completely so it's still good. I give you two days to complete the task here. Use that beggar sect leader Gui Song. He is far more capable than you can imagine. Building a relationship with that old man is very beneficial."

"It seems you know a lot about everything. Why didn't you tell me everything so it becomes easy for me?"

Glen sighed. "You are correct that I know about some matters but it's not my place to tell. I can;t interfere with nature's course. I think that old man also told you that it's you who need to find answers otherwise everything we are doing will turn useless."

"A lot of lives are at stake, Severus. You can't be selfish at this point or else you will be punished to no end by heavens. I am afraid at that point no one would be able to save you."

Severus was scared. It felt like a huge responsibility was shouldered on him.

"Times up. Take care Severus"

Glen came forward and hugged Desella as she whispered in her ear. "Never ever take that bracelet out from your wrist if you wish to live with Severus"

Snap!

Glen snapped her fingers and the same white light blinded Severus and Desella. In no time they were standing on the same spot. It was the same wall and same dead end.
