Chapter 77: Little Della

Desella sympathised with the demon but she didn't agree with him completely. She will never admit that her life had been easy….aka...her afterlife had been easy. At the least Tishn was alive and warm. He can die and attain eternal peace which he wasn't because of his personal decisions but what about her? She didn't have such a privilege. What she was going to do about? She wasn't alive and warm but dead and cold. Like Tishn she also was caged inside that spell for a long long time. It had been s long there that slowly and steadily she was forgetting about her existence too. If not for Severus, she would have withered away, faded in past with no existence. By god's grace, Severus appeared and saved her but even after being saved, it was not good as she imagined. She was struck with an attack of amnesia and by god's grace was a cursed will. She didn't know about her past. She didn't even know wether ever she was alive or not or was always a will. Pathetic, it was so pathetic. The worst nightmare of her was discovering that she was never a mortal but a will. Such a cruel life. Imagine felling all mortal emotions but you can't either express them nor return them. You could only staw away and watch others happily. It was painful, so much so that her if it ever happened, her non-existence heart will surely bleed to death. May because of similar experiences in lives, Desella understood how Tishn felt. Desella felt pity an unknown pity towards Tishn but she helps herself up for Severus. She can't allow herself to cause har to Severus. At any cost, he needs to save her.

She finally bit the bullet and opened her mouth to retort," No you re wrong, heavily wrong. What right do you have to judge others whether they had an easy life or a tough life? I agree that you lived a bleak and desolate life here but don't joke with me saying that Hades cheated you. Hades never cheated instead he felt pity towards you that's why he saved you. Otherwise, who do you think you are? What qualifications do you have to be caged inside a world specifically made for you? Preposterous!", Desella spat her anger.

Tishn expressions turned ugly with her speech and towards the end of her speech. He was shaking in anger. Being caged here by Severus was his sore point which he never liked bringing up but somehow he brought it today by himself, and this damn will is now using it that him.

"Damn you Desella. Don't forget your place here. Who do you think you are to lecture to me about my life. Good or bad it's my life, none of your business. YOU JUST CAN'T COMMENT ON ME AND MY LIFE"

What a narcissist and arrogant fella. It was no wonder he was fated for doom. A person with self-obsession and ignorance is fated to either die or suffer.

Desella shook her head in pity.

"Don't you dare pity me, you miserable will", a chill voice resounded in the room.

Desella quickly corrected her expression and barked," I know I shouldn't pity you, after all, you don't deserve anyone's pity but alas you see, I have a big heart here. I somehow find similarities in our life so I felt bad for you but that doesn't mean you are correct. You know what 'a man reaps what he sows'. Similarly, you, me, Severus and every other individual in the world fall under this spell. You know what is the name of this spell?".She gave cynical smile to Tishn which creeped him out.

She posed a question for Tishn however he didn't give a reply. She wasn't sure whether he really wasn't aware of the answer or was just lazy to give it but she didn't care either for it."It's called Karma. Karma of life. You complain about your life here but have you ever imagined, what did you even do to be caged here? No, you didn't. You never reflected on yourself but always blamed others. Just have a look at your conscience and tell me how many innocent peoples have you killed. I bet they will be uncountables because you were once a killing machine. You didn't spare anyone, neither kids nor woman. You just believed in your own principals and thought that mortals were low being and denied their existence. You killed them mercilessly like crushing ants. Imagine how many of them had cursed you. Every tear that was shed from the eyes of a homeless kid, every unspoken grimace of a widow, every sob of a parent that lost their kids...and I can just rant on but it won't end. Do you think you can get away with it easily? Delusional you are. You will face the consequences if your WELL DONE DEEDS. So be prepared." She finally ended her long speech.

Tishn was so angry by the time Desella ended her second round of speech that he just waved his right hand in anger and a gush of black mist again came out of nowhere, struck Desella with a hard blow. She instantly felt a sudden pain in her neck and felt suffocated. Even breathing was hard. She felt like she would pass out any moment but didn't allow herself to pass out otherwise her efforts would be in vain and secondly, it's not like she will die anyway so why should she give in to this demon. She summed her energy and finally felt free from the clutched of Tishn.

Tishn was happy witnessing Desella in pain and was rejoicing in his heart.'Serves you right' However next second his expressions fell when he saw her fighting against him, and there she was free from his clutches. Tishn felt agonised. He was frustrated because she can't even threaten her as she was always dead. He felt annoyed dealing with her. However, something struck him. An idea struck him. Just like Hades was his sore point, Severus was Desella's sore point. If anything happened to him, she will surely crumble. With this idea in his mind, he again waved his hand and again a black mist came but this time it was more darker and deathly than previous attack. He waved it towards Severus. The black mist quickly got merged with the whirlwind that was already revolving around Severus,

THUD!

THUD!

AAAAHHHHHHH!

A growl of pain sounded.

Severus!

Severus!

Both Tishn and Desella had spoken simultaneously but the undertone made all the difference. On one side it was Desella who was once again struck with worry whereas on another side it was Tishn who casually said his name with an expression full of smugness.

He gave Desella a meaningful look. It was as if he saw through her tricks and this made her shuddered. She panicked more and more. 'No...no...Tishn, did he really find out what I was trying to do?' Her already cold body turned colder and she felt her energy being sucked dry by an oblivion void.

"Hahaha…...do you really think I won't be able to see through your little tricks. I admit that you can easily get on my nerves since we share a special relationship but that's it. You can't defeat me, you never did and will never be able to it. I am always victorious at least, in front of you I am."

He laughed loudly. His laughter was like a rumble which was reverberating inside the room.

"You really like that punk, don't you? Going through such lengths to save him. Did you really think I wouldn't be able to catch your plane to delay time? Tell me honestly didn't you wanted to stall time for him. Alas even if I give all the time that I had to this punk, I highly doubt this weakling would be able to even scratch me, much less kill me. Little DEll, your old habit of joking around didn't leave you huh, you are even joking in your afterlife. Hah"

Desella quietly listened to his mockery but didn't respond to him. She didn't notice how he addressed her as Lil Dell. All that was left for her to worry was Severus.

TIWIST!

Again a new wave of black mist struck the whirlwind.

PURGGGGG

Desella saw red on the floor. What could it be if not for blood? It was Severs blood. Warm and crimson.

Thud!

Desella head hit the wall behind her. She passed out from the fear.

"Little DEll, I always told you not to get involved with emotions but you never listened o me. You never had peace in your life when you were alive and don't have t even in your afterlife. You never listened to me, did you? Why? Why did you betray master? We all pampered you so much. We were so good buddies. How can you blame me for being cruel when you yourself were the cruellest of all among us?"
