Chapter 404: Season for girls

Chapter 404: Season for girls

"..." Lu Chen has no comment on what Feng Meifeng just said.

"Meifeng I-" Lu Chen doesn't know how to respond. He just said those words out of instinct.

"You don't have to say anything right now! I'm telling you that I like you, and I know you might not feel the same way right now!" Remembering Kang Shuchun, Ye Meixiu, and now Song Yanmei, Feng Meifeng grits her teeth. There are way too many beautiful girls around Lu Chen.

But she doesn't care. She swears, "Lu Chen, I will make you love me!"

Feng Meifeng closes the call before Lu Chen can say anything else. She was too embarrassed when she said it.

"..." Can't I say something?!

Lu Chen's brain was working fast to process everything that happened.

'But seriously, what are the coincidences these days?!' Ye Meixiu was the first person, and now Feng Meifeng is the second to confess.

Is there a season for girls to confess or something?! Lu Chen felt a little overwhelmed by it.

But if you have to say whether or not Lu Chen hated these confessions, heck no! Seeing how two beautiful people had confessed to him made him feel something.

Happiness. Bliss. Shock. All these positive emotions in him started to mix together.

'I've changed a lot.' Compared to the person he was in the past(Or future, time travel terms are weird.), he was many times better than before. Having his own company to help his best friend. He accomplished a lot in these short times.

Lu Chen got everything he wanted to do. But there's just one more thing left for him to do. Lu Chen calls Elder Wu.

"What is it, young master?"

"Elder Wu, I want to go to my grandfather's house tomorrow." It was time for him to end this charade.

"Understood, young master. I will tell the master about this." Elder Wu knows it's time as well.

...

The next day,

Over at Lu Wencheng's mansion, Lu Wencheng was pacing back and forth in his reading room.

'What am I going to do?' Lu Wencheng's expression was dark and worried. Something wasn't right.

"Can you not act like this every time, sir?" Elder Wu sighs as he looks at his friend.

"How can I not be acting like this?! My grandson is coming to meet me today! Do I have enough snacks!" The reason why Lu Wencheng was acting so worried was because of snacks. He wanted the day to be perfect and had bought the best things for today.

"The young master isn't a child anymore." Lu Chen was already an adult. He wasn't some child.

Lu Wnecheng glares at Elder Wu,

"He's still a kid in my eyes. And why aren't you with Xiao Chen, Wu Guoliang?"

"Didn't I tell you before? The young master doesn't need me anymore. He's an adult now, and he can do whatever he wants." Lu Chen already showed him that he could fend for himself.

Whoever can actually beat him up is too hard to find.

"And besides, he needs to have his time to be alone." With how many girls are near him, him being there would just be in the way.

"But." Lu Wencheng was still worried that Lu Chen would be in danger.

"His car is there." A car drives up in front of the mansion, and Lu Chen comes out.

When Lu Chen walks into the study room, Lu Wencheng has a stale expression and asks,

"So you have come."

"Yes, I have, grandfather." Lu Chen bows his head.

"Sit down. We have a lot to talk about." The two sit down, and Elder Wu makes tea for both of them.

"I heard from Guoliang that your company is doing good. Keep up the good work." On the inside, Lu Wencheng was over the moon about this. His grandson was a successful CEO!

The number of times he bragged about this to his friends was too many to count. It was always the hammer on their comments about their grandchildren.

My grandson is graduating from one of the top colleges.

My grandson knows how to play the piano and violin at the master level.

Well, my grandson owns his own company, and it makes a hundred million in a year. He's the top scorer as well!

The moment he said this, all the other grandparents would shut up. They couldn't say anything else. They can only look at him in envy.
