Chapter 154 - Collect Debts!

Take your tongue out!"

Kenzie: "..." But he did what Silvia asked him to do anyway.

After a while, she said, "Done."

Silvia put her flashlight back in her pocket, after which she wrote a few words on her note in the grass-like doctor's handwriting.

The curious Grizelle looked up at Silvia's note.

Silvia kindly pointed the note forward, "Do you understand?" It was obvious that she was checking on this woman. Grizelle was silent.

Now Kenzie's face looked much better. "The nurse who took care of you reported that you had a fever. What's the fever!" It just made her panic.

"Oh really? I don't know. I can't feel it."

Silvia wasn't interested in joking either so she didn't respond.

"So if the patient has a fever or not, the doctor doesn't know?"

When he said the word 'doctor' Kenzie deliberately emphasized the word, full of satirical intent. However, Silvia still didn't give any reaction!

"Since your condition is getting better, I don't need to be here anymore. You can go home tomorrow. Ask this female friend of yours to take care of your return permit, but tonight you still have to continue to be under supervision."

Kenzie wanted to ask if she was the one looking after him tonight, but Silvia was already busy with a small board in her hands. A moment later she asked, "Does your stomach still hurt?"

Kenzie shook his head.

"Is there a burning feeling?"

Kenzie shook his head.

After getting the results of the examination, Silvia just had to put ticks all over the place.

After asking all that, Silvia felt that Kenzie's recovery was going very well so she kindly gave some advice, like a proper doctor and patient.

"Your stomach bleeds from drinking too much alcohol so in the next month you shouldn't drink at all. You have to maintain your dietary habit. It's best to just eat porridge. Before completely healed, it is better not to drink strong tea. Do not drink milk on an empty stomach because it will produce excessive stomach acid.

Kenzie was silent. He didn't give any response either. Bleeding stomach, drinking a lot of alcohol, who's really causing it? If it wasn't for the thought of this woman who always ignored him, he would have been looking for an escape to alcohol right? But until now this woman didn't even notice that.

Kenzie let out a huffy breath.

Silvia walked out leisurely. She finished her duty, why was she lingering here?

Peter went to GohCorp. He arrogantly went straight to the top floor where the presidential commissioner's room was, Richard Goh's office. He didn't even bother to make an appointment beforehand. He was used to coming here, so no one dared to stop him.

He had a fairly large capital at GohCorp. It was time to withdraw all his share here. Especially now that Swan Enterprise was in shock, the stock he had invested here would greatly help Swan Enterprise.

In the hallway leading to the door, Peter was intercepted by Richard's assistant, "Excuse me, sir. Can I help you?"

Peter looked carefully at this lowly assistant. She seemed to be the new assistant since Peter had never met her before. He just glanced at her. He had no intention of messing with this little girl.

In the past, he must have teased her first, at least ask for her number so he could take her out for drinks. But this time was different. He had another purpose in coming here! He was in pretty serious trouble, no time to think about pleasant things.

Peter ignored her and just walked away. The assistant did not remain silent, she still intercepted Peter.

"Sorry, Mr. Richard said that he didn't want to be disturbed. Moreover, I saw he didn't have an appointment at this hour."

"Get out of my sight before you lose your job!" His voice and words were so cold. It would give anyone the chills to hear it!

Just as the woman was still trying to stop him, the door suddenly opened, making both of them instantly fell silent.

"Zeline, back to work!" Richard who came out of the door immediately gave her an order.

The woman returned to her desk.

With one of his lips lifted arrogantly, Peter looked at Richard, then went straight into Richard Goh's room without permission. The middle-aged man followed behind him.

"Wow, Uncle, long time no see." Peter sat down on the sofa and crossed his legs casually as if he were a guest of honor.

Richard didn't respond but he also sat down on the sofa in front of Peter.

"Uncle, why don't you hug me? And why no welcome drink yet? You used to greet me warmly, at least a hug and a bottle of red wine would have been available. Why is different this time?" All of those remarks were clearly a sneer!

Richard still kept silent. He just looked at this person who acted arbitrarily with a gloomy look. He had heard of the disaster that befell the Swan Enterprise and he was able to guess, this man's arrival was not for a good cause. Thinking of that, Richard got little goosebumps!

"Still no drinks yet? Or do you want me to take it by myself? Don't you think that's so rude?" Peter sneered again. He really did not accept this disrespectful attitude!

Richard cleared his throat for a moment then he opened his mouth and said, "There are no more drinks in my office. I didn't save it anymore. But if you want, I can ask my people to buy it."

"Buying, huh?" Peter seemed to be considering the offer.

After a while, he said his decision, "Alright that is better. We have to get drunk, right? It is not cool if we are not drunk!"

"I can't drink right now. If you want to drink, go ahead." Richard's voice was lackluster, nor was he much expression.

"Not drinking? Wow, Uncle, we used to get drunk together a lot, why are you suddenly avoiding that delightful drink?"

Richard didn't bother to explain, "What kind of drink do you want? Let me ask my assistant to buy it."

Peter seemed to be thinking, "Since uncle doesn't drink, I'll take it as apologize if Uncle buys it by yourself."

"Peter, don't go too far! I still have a lot of work to do!" Richard's patience also had its limits. Ever since this man came, he had been feeling quite disturbed.

"Oh, if I remember correctly, in the past, even if Uncle had a lot of work, Uncle would always prioritize me. Why is it different now?"

Richard Goh: "....."

"Uncle..." He walked over and sat down beside Richard. Now the two of them were very close. "Is it because I'm canceled to be your son-in-law, should you be hostile to me? Obviously, your daughter was at fault in our relationship, right?"

Richard didn't like it when his only daughter was blamed by someone else. Especially when she was humiliated! But he also wasn't rash to chase this man away. He calmly said, "Tell me what you came here for. Don't waste too much time like this!"

Richard had prepared himself, from the moment he saw the arrival of this man in his office, he had known that something good was going to happen.

"The right question at the right time." Peter was still making small talk, making his interlocutor fed up.

Richard folded his arms across his chest as if ready to listen to everything Peter had to say.

Peter was annoyed getting a cold response. He finally decided not to waste any more energy and said his intention directly, "I want to sell all my shares in GohCorp, as well as all the capital I've ever given only through a marriage agreement. I want to withdraw everything right now."

And indeed, it happened as he had expected! Richard a little panicked but he didn't want to show it either.

"You invested in GohCorp in writing, by agreement, under applicable law. We have also agreed on the written articles. If you want to take my shares back, you can't just take them away. You have to wait for other shareholders who want to buy the shares you own. You definitely know about this. You haven't been in this circle for a year or two."

Haha...

Peter laughed loudly, he seemed to be sneering. "Uncle, don't tell me that you can't even afford to buy my meager shares? Look how broken you are right now!"

Richard didn't respond because it was true, he wasn't strong enough to buy additional shares, not to mention he had to repay the loan Peter had given him when the company was shaken. The funds were not small. If he returned the loan now, his company's finances would be shaken again. Even though it was only been a year, GohCorp's changes were running normally. Although it did not provide many benefits, all the previous losses could be overcome.
