Chapter 64 - Let's Stick Together!

Dexter smiled, glaring at her lovingly. Landed a soft kiss on Kaili's lips, and then looked at her, "Nothing. Many things do not need to be explained in words, but time will answer."

There was a sense of disappointment in Kaili's heart at the confusing answer. But she couldn't possibly force Dexter, right? Kaili only hoped that time would explain well, about her love for Dexter.

'I'm afraid you will reject me again, for the umpteenth time, Kaili. Let it be like this. Wait until I really believe that you love me, I will express my love again. But, whatever the reason, even in this lifetime you do not love me, I will not let you go!'

Sometimes, considering how Kaili rejected him, Dexter's heart was still in torment. Especially considering how his favorite woman loudly asked for a divorce last night and earlier, Dexter really wasn't ready!

Kaili put her hand around Dexter's neck, Dexter's words increasing her confidence. Now she was sure that Dexter would always be hers. Even though now that man didn't love her anymore, but Kaili believed, if they continue together, she could bring Dexter's love back to life. Who knew where that belief came from? She just knew that her heart was sure it would happen.

"Hemp, then, let's wait for the time you said earlier," she whispered softly, barely audible. But because it was Kaili, everything must have always been the main thing for Dexter. He could clearly hear the word.

His heart was in joy! It could be said that it was a good start.

"You ... What do you mean?" Even though Dexter was very happy, he wanted to confirm his own hearing.

"What else? We're husband and wife, so let's stick together! Do you mind?" Kaili answered without hesitation.

"Are you sure? What is your belief based on?"

"Nothing. I just remember you said that Mrs. Chiro's status will forever be mine if I don't let it go. Am I wrong?" Kaili even turned around to ask.

Dexter smiled a little but managed to show his canines, "Kaili, for me marriage is a sacred thing, I won't easily give up my marriage. You too ... I won't let you go unless you want to go."

Dexter's statement was very clear. Kaili accepted the sentence as, just because Dexter respected marriage so much, so he would not let Kaili go, not out of love. This wasn't what Kaili wanted either. She wanted Dexter to keep her because he loved her. However, wouldn't there be plenty of time to make that man loved her again?

"Dexter ..." The silence that lasted for about 1 minute was broken because of Kaili's slow but loud call.

"Hemp .... What's wrong?" Dexter continued to stay in his position, pressing Kaili under him. It seemed that looking at Kaili in this position was very satisfying. He could freely see every bit of Kaili's face and expression.

"If I let you go, will you just let me be? If I want to go, won't you try to hold me back?"

"... ..." Dexter fell silent. This was not the most difficult question, but he himself was confused about what to answer. If it could be said just letting go, it was clear that Dexter wouldn't let Kaili go. But, on what basis was he holding her back? Dexter felt really messed up.

"Are you leaving? In a divorce, women are the saddest ones. She lost a lot too! Are you going to make yourself lose?"

Kaili frowned. Dexter's answer was far from what she expected. It was not an expected answer. However, what Dexter said had a point too. So Kaili didn't know whether to be happy or sad.

Dexter kissed Kaili's forehead, got out of her body, and sat on the bed. "Now, don't think too much of frivolous things like that. Get up and eat this soup."

"What soup is this?"

"Hangover relief!"

Kaili pursed her lips, "I'm not drunk anymore! I won't drink it!"

"You have to! You were drunk last night, who knows what kind of drink you drank? If any of them contain foods that you are allergic to, what do you think?" Dexter led Kaili to sit down, not forgetting to button up her shirt first.

"What hangover soup has to do with my allergies? Seriously!"

Hearing that, Dexter chuckled. His stupid wife turned out to have not a bad IQ. She could understand that far, very good!

"No, I called it wrong. It's the soup to boost antibodies, not hangover."

Kaili looked at him in disbelief. Dexter raised his eyebrows, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Just trying to guess which one you said was the right one."

"Should I lie about that?"

"Didn't you lie at the beginning?"

Dexter "... ..."

He wouldn't possibly tell her the reason, right? Earlier, he didn't say it was soup for antibodies for fear that Kaili would ask a lot of questions. Especially if she asked where Dexter knew about her allergies!

"Well, give it to me! I can eat it by myself, no need to feed me." Kaili tried to take the bowl from Dexter's hand.

Dexter prevented her, "Open your mouth, or should I giving it in some other ways?"

Kaili: "..."

She was forced to do that. She obediently accepted spoon after spoon that Dexter thrust into her mouth.

After a while, the soup was gone. Even so, Dexter had to repeatedly threaten her.

"I'm leaving for work, you have to rest. Don't go anywhere yet. I'll try to be home early." Dexter pulled the blanket up to Kaili's chest, kissed her lips briefly, then her forehead. Dexter immediately went to take a shower.

---

Silvia went into the dressing room. Fortunately, today was her work schedule. Her world felt calmer when she sat in her study. Moreover, yesterday's incident had made her very devastated. She didn't sleep enough. But when she was working, she would feel much better.

Didn't know since when, work had become a new hobby for a spoiled girl like her. She, who was like this, did not seem like the Big Miss who was always pampered and wallowing in wealth.

But, who would have thought, just as she was wearing her white coat of pride, her phone was ringing loudly.

"Doctor Silvia, sorry, but please come here quickly. Room 108!"

"Room 108?"

Silvia remembered very well the patient who was in room 108. She was a female patient who had just come in a few days ago due to congenital heart disease. She had undergone surgery to insert a ring in a vein. Currently, she was 7 months pregnant. The doctor once advised her not to give birth to a child. But instead, she was secretly pregnant until her stomach was growing, and then her family found out about her pregnancy.

The male fetus in the womb was growing very well. But since it was big, the fetus was pressing on her heart.

When she was rushed to the hospital, her heart rate was very weak, and her blood pressure also dropped dramatically. Her husband and mother-in-law came to accompany her and specifically begged Silvia to just keep the patient's life. But the patient asked for her son's life instead.

The incident occurred again in her mind. Silvia jogged, the sound of her heels causing a loud, rushed chant. While holding the cellphone, she said, "Get the ventilator and resonator, hurry up!"

"Okay!" From the other side answered obediently.

Arriving at the patient's room, the nurse who was in front of the patient didn't know what to do. Silvia approached and carefully heard the sound of the pregnant woman's heartbeat. She also saw her white eyes. The patient's heartbeat was much weaker than before as if her life was about to disappear.

Seeing Silvia who never gave heart treatment to the patient, the nurse reminded her, "Doctor Silvia, the patient needs a pacemaker!"

"No, we can't do that! The pacemaker will injure the fetus in her womb. Hold this!" Silvia gave the stethoscope that was around her neck to the nurse, and then began to press the patient's heart hard with her hand.

"Rizka ... Rizka .... Wake up!" Silvia shouted out the patient's name. "Wake up! Come on! For the sake of the child in your womb, you must be awake! You can definitely hear me, right? "

Silvia screamed like crazy! She saw the patient's enlarged stomach, in which there was a child she loved very much. And also ... Silvia loved children very much. She once dreamed that she would have 3 children with Dexter. She had designed everything perfectly. Even though now the man she had loved for decades was married, it didn't stop her dream of having children one day!

She gave hard pressure on the patient's heart using almost all of her strength. Silvia's forehead drained a lot of sweat and dripped onto the patient's face. Silvia was a woman, after all, so she needed a lot of strength to keep pressing on the patient's heart. Even though her strength was very weak, but Silvia didn't want to give up.
