Chapter 125：I Don’t Want To Loose Her

Jack keep silence.

"Don't joke around Jack, it is impossible for you to hook up with Lady Lee. She is not in your league." his dad warned him.

"Did I look like I'm joking right now Mr. Cheng?" Jack asked with a serious tone.

"No, you can't marry her. If you insist on marrying her, you need to follow the rules. Get discharge from military. Hand over your tag and stars you earn."

"Dad.."

"Otherwise, don't carry my name. I can't let you disgrace our family. All of our generation are serves as a soldier. None of it dare enough to marry a high status women. And you know why?"

Jack divert his eyes to somewhere else.

He know. He know the reason.

High status people are very particular with their daughter's life. Marrying a soldier is a mustn't. Especially with someone with his rank, who put his life in the first line in order to save someone with high status.

To get to his father's level will take a years to earn it. Thus, his family will only married into a soldier too.

Despite it's from the same league, it also will be more easy and understandable with each others job scope and timing.

If any of his family want to marry an ordinary woman which is not in soldier field, they must retired from being a soldier and worst, they need to change their last name.

"I will still marry her without being discharge from my post and change my last name." he said firmly before he walk out from his dad's room.

The next day, Lee Zhing has a business matter on abroad, she pack her things and ready to go.

Usually she would take a flight, but today she request to Lee Zhen for using a jet to travel.

She did not want Jack to trace her again, so she changes her phone and number. She already set in her mind to move on with a new life.

Lee Zhuan furrow his brow after seeing Lee Zhing walk down with a big luggage.

"Where are you going again?"

"Oh dad, don't worry. It just a business trip. I'll be back once I done." she put a smile on her face.

"Are you okay dear?" he caress his daughter hair with a bit concern. He heard the rumors around the maids that saying her daughter just broke up with Jack.

At first he didn't believed the rumors, since he saw how happy her daughter when Jack coming to meet Lee last time. But now, he could clearly saw that her daughter is sad and acting like nothing had happen in her relationship.

"Yeah dad, I'm okay..I'm in hurry now." she kissed her father's cheek and said to him.

"Tell mom, that I will choose Su Han if there is no other candidates. See ya dad!" she hurriedly get in the car and wait for the chauffeur drive her to Lee air base.

Lee Zhuan tilt his head a little. "Su Han? Who is that?" he mumble himself. When he want to go to the archived room, he saw his wife in the garden from the glass window.

He then walk to his wife.

"Ning."

Mu Ning was focused on doing some gardening when her husband suddenly call her name.

She turned around and smile at him. "Yes,darling?"

"Who is Su Han?" he ask with a bit curiosity on his voice.

She silent a moment before she answer.

"Oh..he is Lee Zhing's blind date. Why did you ask?"

Lee Zhuan was dumbfound at the moment.

"Blind date? Isn't she dating Jack now?"

Mu Ning scratch her head a little. She is the one who force Lee Zhing to marry Jack, but then Jack refuse and it make her happy and excited to find her daughter a perfect match for her own good.

"Well,.. she already break up with Jack." Mu Ning stammered a little.

"What?? Why??" again, Lee Zhuan eyes almost pop out.

"Errr…Well, Jack refuse to marry her. I mean, I ask Lee Zhing to marry him within a month, if he refuse then she must go on with my candidates that I pick for her." she already sweating.

"Why would you do that? Why did you interfere with her relationship?"

"What else can I do? She is not getting any younger. If she didn't marry in this year or early next year she will become old. Who wants marry an old woman?? not to mention, there is a possibility for her not getting any child in the future. Do you want us not having any descendant?"

Rub his head, he said "You're overboard Mu Ning."

Lee Zhuan took out his phone and dialing Richard's number.

"Yes uncle?" his voice is plain as ever.

"Help me to arrange meeting with this Field Marshall Cheng today, can you?"

"What is the matter?"

"It's Lee Zhing."

"Okay. Consider it done." he ended the call.

Sighing, Lee Zhuan walk back inside the mansion.

In the govern military office,

"Sir, a call from Lee requesting to meet up with you today, should I accept or decline it sir?" his assistant informed him using a landed line.

"Accept their request. Inform me when they have arrive later."

After 30 minutes, his assistant once again calling him and informing him about the arrival of the Lee.

The door was opened by his assistant and two figure man walk inside his room.

Stood up from his chair, he then greet them two.

"Mr. Lee, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too Field Marshall Cheng." Lee Zhuan said replying while Richard just nodded his head.

"What did bring you two here?" he asked politely and offer these two gentleman for taking a seat.

"It's regarding my daughter." Lee Zhuan said after he taking a seat in front of the man who is a bit older than him.

"Is it because of my boy? Rest assured Mr. Lee I would make my boy leave your daughter alone. We don't want to make any trouble too." he start sweating when he heard Lee Zhuan said about his daughter.

Lee Zhuan silence a moment, he then looked at Richard's.

Richard who understand his uncle cue then said with a firm voice.

"It's not like that, Field Marshall Cheng, what my uncle meant is, he want your son to cherish his daughter, Lee Zhing, and marry her properly."

Field Marshall Cheng dumbstruck with Richard's words.

"I am sorry, but, I can't agree to this. My son is a soldier who served the country. There is no way he can fulfill your daughter's dream husband."

"I know. But if you worried that he will go out to mission and leave my daughter alone, I can personally request Mr. Yu to change his divison and lighten his work. I believe Mr. Yu willing to do so." Lee Zhuan said with a serious face.

"But Mr. Lee, Mr. Yu is a soldier too. He will.."

"He is a military person, but he is a human too. After all, he is my father-in law. i will surely offer him something in return." Richard cut his sentence making Field Marshall totally turning pale.

"You..you said Mr. Yu is your father-in-law? But..but..isn't you married with a girl from other city?"

"Yes, and that girl you mention is Mr. Yu biological daughter."

"But…"

"Mr. Field Marshall Cheng, we as an old man cannot interfere with a young people's love right? I know the real reason why is your son rejecting my daughter is because of your rules. But as a father, it hurt my heart to see my daughter's sadness. I don't care who she choose to be her partner as long as it's a good people. What I care the most is her happiness. I hope you are not one of the reason why my daughter is sad right now. If you know what I mean." he smile and stood up after that.

"I think we are done here, hopefully my daughter can return to her usual self like before. Till we meet again, Mr. Field Marshall Cheng."

Richard also walk behind his uncle.

In the car, Lee Zhuan loosened his collar a little.

"Am I a bad father?" he asked Richard.

Richard frowned but then he continue his work and answer.

"Not really. But if she knew you threaten her future father-in-law, you might be in trouble in the future."

"It's not easy to be an old man."

"Hmm..I'm not sure about that." suddenly Richard's phone ringing, he looked at the caller ID. It is Jack.

He show his phone to his uncle before he pick up the call and put in the loudspeaker mode.

"Yes?"

"Hey man, did you know where is Lee Zhing? I tried to call her, but her number are terminated."

"Why did you want to find her?"

"Well.. I had something to tell her."

"Is it important?"

"Yes. It is."

"I can pass it to her if you want?"

"No. I need to tell her in person."

"And what is the important thing that it might be, if you don't mind I'm asking?"

"I..I don't want to loose her, man. Just give me the place, I'll go search for her."

Richard looked at his uncle.

Lee Zhuan lift up his eyebrow and said "If you want to know my daughter whereabouts, you need to make sure to make her happy after this. Is it clear?"

Jack silence in the other line. He was surprise to hear Lee Zhuan's voice.

He then smile and reply firmly.

"Yes sir."

Satisfy with his answer, he give him Lee Zhing's destination.
