Chapter 121：Do Not Return With A Scar Next Time

In the weekend.

Jack wearing a black suit and he comb his hair neatly. In his hand, there is also a bouquet of roses he had prepared and a bottle of high quality wine.

Yu Lin who help him to get dressed, patted at his shoulder.

"I feel like you want to get married today." he chuckled a little.

Zi Fei who standing behind them also chuckle. "Yeah, you look nervous. Like you were force to marry her."

"Relax Jack. It just meeting her family. And fortunately, we too had a business that require us to go there too." Yu Ran said with a firm voice patting his shoulder.

They arrived at the Lee mansion in Evening.

When they walk inside the mansion that lead by Mr. Chu, all Lee already in the hall, having light conversation among themselves.

Hai Rin and Richard were just come down from upstairs. When she see Yu Ran, she immediately walk to him.

"Dad.." she hug her dad and then turned to Yu Lin and Zi Fei.

She glance at Jack beside them and brush his arm a little.

"Nice to meet you Jack." she said politely.

Richard also patted his shoulder and smile to him.

Lee Zhing walk to him and kiss his cheek, he also do the same.

"Hey, baby.."

"Here, I brought you this flower." Jack handed her the flower bouquet that he prepared earlier.

"Ohh..Thanks." she take flower and pass to Ms. Yun after that.

"Put in the vase and place it to my room please." she instructed Ms. Yun and bring Jack to greet everyone.

Not Long after, Lee Zhing introduce him as her boyfriend to everyone before they headed to dining hall.

Mu Ning was so curious with the man that her daughter choose.

She then ask him in the dining.

"Mr. Cheng, what did your family do for living?" her question make all the people in the dining focus on Jack.

"My family served my country from my great grandfather generation. That is what they do." Jack said calmly.

He sit beside Lee Zhing in the dining.

"Oh..so you're saying that your family is actually a soldier just like you?"

Looked at the middle-aged woman, he nod and say "Yes."

"I'm not so picky. But as much as I know many of my friends who is her husband is a soldier, will left her alone for a quite long time. Not to mention some of them are not even returning home due to some work and only return with a pale body. Oh..poor my friend."

Jack turned silent. He know what she means.

"Mom.." Lee Zhing try to warn her mother.

Lee Zhen just cough a little before divert his eyes to his plate.

He knew who is Jack is and what background that he hold, but he also love his granddaughter.

It will be a shame if she happen to be a widow in such a young ages. While her father Lee Zhuan did not mind with his daughter choices, as long as she live a happy life.

Xin Me and Lee Han really do not want to be part of their conversation. They also just settle down with their own family problem which is caused by her son, Richard.

Luckily there is no major problem occur when Hai Rin still new at the mansion.

Yu Ran feel a bit guilty. He is the person who responsible for Jack safety and he also the one who assign him to each mission. And yes, mostly of the mission that he assign for him is a dangerous one.

"Madam Lee, if I may. We as human can't decide our own fate or other people fate too. Predicting and deciding something that is still far away is something that is not convincing right?" Zi Fei said and swirl her wine glass a little.

"Maybe, your friends who married a soldier is just in a middle or a low rank? Mr. Jack here is in a high rank soldier. He is not just a mere soldier like what you thought. Who knows, in the future he will run our military govern unit too?" she smirk a little and drink her wine.

Hai Rin turned her gaze to her. 'Wow! She can beat auntie Mu Ning's sharp tongue.'

Jack feel a bit relieves with what he heard. 'Huh, I thought she just know how to play around with that brat..'

Lee Zhing furrowed her brow and squinted her eyes with a meaning. "Thanks Zi Fei."

Mu Ning had nothing else to say. She just shrugged her shoulder and said inwardly. 'Well, let see if you really had intention to marry my daughter.'

They then continue their dinner after atmosphere calm a bit.

When the elders are still in the living hall after dinner, Lee Zhing accidentally dirt his suit with her wine.

She then bring him to her room and find a suitable suit for him.

When he walk to her room, he scan all the things inside her room.

Follow behind her to the dress room, he looked at the line of men attire.

He frowned a little.

"Why is there a male shirt in your dress room?" he asked her making her jolt a bit.

"Oh, that because it'll be easier if something like this happen. At least my room are well prepared." she said nonchalantly and try to find one size that fit him.

"Something like this? You mean you always have a male friend coming over?"

Froze by what she heard, she exhale and turning around.

He look at the man face which is already turn sour.

She walk to him and place her hand on his cheek saying.

"I never bring any man to my room. You are the first one. What I meant by something like this is when I have a boyfriend which is you, at least I prepared something for you if any occasion happen in the future." she explain to him.

Jack sighing and bend his body a little.

"So, you're saying if I happen want to stay the night here, you are well prepared?"

Blushed, she divert her eyes away.

"Yeah..something like that."

Taking the shirt that she already pick up, he kiss her cheek and take off his shirt to change with a new one.

Lee Zhing blushed even redder than before after seeing his naked body in front of her.

Even so, she couldn't divert her eyes to other way. She like to see his toned body and his muscle.

Sensing her gaze, Jack ask her.

"You really like to stare at my body. Is there anything on it that make you curious?"

She pointed at the scar in his waist.

Looking at the direction, he said "I got this when I go to mission 4 years ago."

She then point at another one.

"I've been shot around 2 years ago."

Another spot, "That is when I jump from the cliff, I happen to cut myself and it's a bit deep."

She then stop pointing and hug his body tightly.

"Please..do not return with a scar next time." she said before she kiss lightly on his chest.

Jack gaze turned soft and gentle.

"I will try to not too."
