Chapter 37：I Won't Save Her

Kingston Apartment.

A sound from Yu Lin phone made him wake up. He see the caller and groan a little before he pick up.

"Dad."

"Where are you?" a firm voice sounded from the caller.

"Mm... Somewhere."

"Did you..get laid last night?"

"So what?"

"With her?"

"Dad!"

"Fine fine..you already a grown man now. You can get laid or whatever you want."

"What do you want?" he already get up and sit at the edge of bed.

"I need you to go to Phoenix City today. It's an urgent matter."

Hearing his dad instruction, he walk out to the balcony.

"What? Now? I am Galaxy's President. If your company got trouble use your people to solve it, not me."

"Ok. Say bye to your dear girlfriend. I want to make a call to ' you know who' . Ciao." the man at the end of line try to threatening him.

"Hey hey dad! Wait!"

"What now?"

"Fine, I'll go." he said with a low voice.

"Sorry, can't hear you."

"I said I'll go."

"Good. 20 minute, rooftop helipad. I'll send someone to fetch you later."

Yu Lin ended his call. He sighing while looking at the morning view from the balcony.

Meanwhile, Xu Nian already wake up from her sleep. She heard everything. She close her eyes and sigh deeply.

'That bastard!'

Not long after, Yu Lin walk back into the room. Sit at the edge of bed he stare lovingly at the woman beside him.

He kiss Xu Nian cheek. When he see Xu Nian open her eyes later, he whisper with a gentle voice.

"I need to go. Something came up. I'll call you later okay?"

"Mhm.." she replied.

They kiss before he go to the bathroom and get dress.

After she confirm that Yu Lin already gone, she take out her phone and dialing a private number.

"What did he do this time?" her voice turn cold. Her face showing a murderous intent.

"I got it." she hang up the call and start dressing. She tied up her hair and wear her bodysuit outfit.

She tilt a picture that hang in the wall at her dress room. A secret passage open immediately, she walk inside the secret room and took out a few gun and reload the bullet. She also took her favorite black army knife from her vault and put it at her leg strip pocket.

Before she close the door, she make sure to turn on the security system in her apartment. She rush to the location that has been designed for her mission.

Yu Lin climb into the helicopter that his father send to fetch him. He put ear protection head set and look at the elite squad inside the chopper.

Looking at the squad which already in standby mode, he knew something must have happen. He only could hope that Xu Nian didn't get involve with this matter.

5 minutes later, they arrive at Yu mansion. He walk toward a man who is standing at the field not far from the helicopter.

Both of them walk to the mansion. In his father study room, Yu Ran look at his son with a gentle expression.

"What happen dad?" Yu Lin sit at the chair in front of the desk. Yu Ran took out a file and handed it to his son.

Yu Lin took the file and flip open it. He read the data and his face look a bit confuse.

"When did it happen?" he ask again.

"Two days ago. Not only our server farm has been attacked, but server farm from Lee is also been attacked."

"What? How is that possible? I designed it to be break-proof. The wall that I build is the toughest to break-in so far." Yu Lin rub his face with his palm. There is a bit tension in his voice.

"My informant tell me, it was attacked by one of Rong people. But, we still didn't receive have any proof."

"Are they demanding something?"

"No. They just attack without negotiation, there still a few layer that they didn't manage to break in. I wonder what does Lee do to make them attacking his server too."

"Lee huh? As far as I know their technology is par with us. Lee is one higher level than us, so if our enemy pick fight with the Lee's, doesn't that mean they dig their own grave?"

"I still don't know what their motive to attacked Lees. But, be prepared for the worst."

"I will go to the Lee Tower, while you go to Phoenix City try to reboot and secure back our data at the server farm. I'll send our elite squad from the base to cover you."

"Remember, this is an important task. All the information in that farm, If they got it then we're done. If they manage to get it from the Lee, than our country also done. Either way, both of Yu and Lee can't let this bastard have their way."

"I get it dad. Is it a red zone at the location?" he ask curiously.

Silent for a moment, Yu Ran put a best word to his son. "If she happen to threaten your life, I won't save her. That is my final word."

"Dad.."

"You are the only one I have now. Your life are the most important to me. You know that, don't you?" He walk out from his study ready to go to Lee Tower.

Meanwhile, Yu Lin were left with a burden in his mind. He did not care if he was killed by his lover but he could not accept it if his lover was killed by his father caused of him.

He ruffle his hair before he walk to his room. He take out his laptop and a few other devices to put in his black backpack.

Yu Lin walk to the field and climb into the helicopter. Inside, there is six people wearing an army suit and holding their riffle bow at him. He look at the squad, nodded a little and walk to his seat.

One of the squad is Yu Lin best combatant, Jack. He presides over the team of five people from other division. Each of fighter has their own strength.

His shadow? No one knew who he is. Never once they saw him. But in previous years when he was still a kid, he almost killed by Xu Nian. That is the first appearance of his shadow saving his life and he almost killed Xu Nian.

Luckily, Yu Lin cover Xu Nian body before his shadow really kill her. Xu Nian was hospitalized for 3 month after that.

After that, his shadow never show up again. All he know that his shadow always watch over him from far away.
