Chapter 5：Who are you?! (3)

When Renae reached home, she quickly settled down after taking a shower then eating dinner. She got cozy in her room with her book in hand when her phone vibrated. Picking it up, she checked the notification and saw an unknown number. She immediately knew it was Kaiden's. He had already added her into the bank robbery case group chat. Now that she thought about it, they said that Kaiden was a youngster too, and he didn't wear the same suit the other policemen did. Is he, perhaps, also a friend or family of one of the victims? Her curiosity urged her to ask him but her brain told her otherwise. Instead, she introduced herself in the group chat and they soon started talking about the investigation.

In the chat room:

Police officer 1 : Alright, since everyone is online currently, let's discuss more about the matter at hand.

* Everyone stated their main findings *

Police officer 1 : Does anyone have any thoughts about the info we've collected today?

Renae : Yes, I do... The AK-101 and the Akdal Ghost TR01 were both manufactured around the 1990s. The former in 1994 and the latter in 1990. I don't think the manufacturers have any connections between each other though. The AK-101 was created by a Russian manufacturer while the Akdal Ghost TR01 created by a Turkish manufacturer. That's all I have for now.

Policeman 1 : I see... we'll look into it after some thorough research in these manufacturers.

Renae : I'm not done. I think that instead of the manufacturers having a connection, the year they bought the guns give a bigger clue.

Kaiden : That's what I was thinking...

Policeman 3: Good job Renae, you did a great job, so as for you Kaiden. Keep up the good work. You are only teenagers but both of you seem to do way better than the rest of us adults

Kaiden: I wouldn't accept your praise because I have not done much work but I will continue to do better.

Renae: All of you contributed something, it doesn't matter who does better, we are still a team aren't we? A team should work together.

Policeman 2: Well spoken Kaiden and Renae.

Policeman 1: If there isn't anything else, then you may rest for the night. See all of you back at the crime scene tomorrow at 7am.
