Before Gu Wei could  explain the matter clearly, he was teased by the big rogue1another synonym of pervert to the point of running away.

[Please Give Me Money If You Love Me]: I will explain it to you later.

Gu Wei decided to post on Moments to calm down first, complaining about what happened to him in the past few days. Most importantly, he needed to open the eyes of those fanboys in his group and understand the true face of that reaction meme hooligan. After that, he needed to sort out his mood, then he could finally be calm enough to go back and explain everything to Jiang Xun.

When most people did something wrong, their first reaction was usually to throw the pot2shifting blame away.

Gu Wei was not one of those people.

Gu Wei searched up all of his saved memes from his phone, and chose nine of Jiang Xun’s reaction memes from that pile.

He added text to those memes–

“Let me tell you, this reaction meme is actually a rascal, totally indecent, and his head is full of pornographic waste. He always has crooked, yellow3perverted thoughts all the time. Brothers, don’t be deceived by his appearance…”

Gu Wei was very cautious this time. He typed a whole essay filled with dissatisfaction and accusations against Meme Jiang. He even specifically blocked Jiang Xun from seeing his post before clicking send.

“In a good mood?” Someone said while knocking the door of TMW’s training room.

Jiang Xun put down his phone, with a smile still in his eyes: “Chu Yi, why are you here?”

“I’m passing by H City for work, so I stopped by to see you.” Chu Yi was wearing a light brown windbreaker. He was leaning against the doorframe, “how’s it going?”

“Very good.” Jiang Xun said smoothly, “I just won the world championship, what would be wrong with me?.”

“Draw one?” Chu Yi took a packet of cards from his pocket. He flicked the deck of cards and spread it on the table, “pick the one you like the most.”

“My mother contacted you again?” Jiang Xun said to his childhood friend.

Chu Yi was Jiang Xun’s neighbor when he was a child, and now he was already an associate professor of the Department of Applied Psychology at A University.

“As a friend, of course I would take care of the world champion’s mental health.” Chu Yi avoided his question and urged, “quick, pick one already, I still have work in the afternoon.”

Jiang Xun relented and picked one that he thought was pleasing to the eye. He then handed it to Chu Yi.

“Doctor Chu, what did you see from that?” Jiang Xun asked while leaning on the gaming chair.

“Why did you choose this one, and what did you see?” Chu Yi asked back.

The card had a teal hue with some intricate color blocks twisted around it.

“I’m the one who tells you?” Jiang Xun asked.

Chu Yi nodded, “you can just say whatever you see.”

Jiang Xun took back the card, and gave Chu Yi an answer according to the pattern he saw, “I saw a whirlpool, and there was a small boat in that whirlpool. I was boarding the boat, and then here…”

Jiang Xun pointed to a white dot on the upper right corner of the card, “I think this is like a lighthouse.”

Chu Yi stared at Jiang Xun for a moment, then suddenly smiled and said, “Are you planning to retire?”

Jiang Xun: “…”

Jiang Xun sat up straight: “You can tell from that? Not bad.”

“It’s not difficult to guess.” Chu Yi smiled and explained, “you are already twenty-three years old, and you are almost at the age of retirement. You are projecting your confusion into what you see in the card. You have a good reputation, and you don’t lack money, what are you confused about?”

What are you confused about?

Regarding dreams, or about future plans, Jiang Xun only had some vague ideas.

“I have this idea of retirement.” Jiang Xun admitted, “but I want to play in this winter’s Asian Open. And besides, the team still has a lot of things to deal with. There are a few good young trainees, but they have to be trained up first. So… I guess my official retirement will wait until next year. “

“You seem to have found some faint enlightenment. The problem is not big, so your mother shouldn’t worry much. It’s something you can solve yourself.” Chu Yi put away the card, “you saw the lighthouse in the whirlpool. Why, have you met your lighthouse?”

Jiang Xun inexplicably thought of Gu Wei in that short fancam.

“What are you smiling at?” Chu Yi asked.

“I really can’t hide anything when I’m talking to you.” Jiang Xun said faux disgust, “I met a very interesting kid recently.”

As he said this, he remembered that he seemed to be chatting with the said kid just now.

Gu Wei said something, didn’t he?

He sold a service, not his body?

Jiang Xun wanted to see if Gu Wei had sent him a new message, but he accidentally opened the chat screen and clicked on his Moment feed instead–

What came into view was Gu Wei’s profile picture, which was a Q version4chibi version drawn by his fans.

The Q version of Gu Wei was chubby, with short legs and short arms. He smiled and made a gesture of begging for a hug. When Jiang Xun saw this profile picture, he curled his lips in a faint smile.

Then his smile froze on his face.

Under the Q version of the profile picture, Jiang Xun saw nine meme pictures of himself.

The nine pictures were taken from various competitions and turned into reaction memes. They were aligned into tidy rows and columns, all with their fingers pointing to him outside the screen.

There was also a wordy essay accompanying those reaction memes. It seemed to be dedicated to some important announcement.

Jiang Xun: “…”

Chu Yi: “…”

Alongside the reaction memes, Gu Wei posted about five hundred words of essay around the theme of “Jiang Xun is a big hooligan”. He even had clear and reasonable arguments, some “facts” to back up his argument, and a logical conclusion.

At the end of his… argumentative diatribe, Gu Wei specially added a sentence:

“It is good enough for everyone to understand this matter in their hearts. But do not say it out loud.”

“Your lighthouse… he’s… very courageous, isn’t he?” Chu Yi recalled back to the days when Jiang Xun was still a big school bully. He was very aggressive back then… and still was until now. Chu Yi applauded this little friend he had never met in his heart, “what kind of person is he?”

Jiang Xun looked at The Q version of Gu Wei and the nine reaction memes he posted. He took a deep, calming breath and said, “This kid Gu. He’s someone who’s itching for a spanking.”
