Chapter 1310 She Is My Wife　　After fighting with Jiang Yuyan, Lu Lijun returned to Lu Mansion after he spent his time alone in his office. When he reached the living room, everyone was discussing Jiang Yuyan agreeing to get engaged with Alex. The Jiang couple was there as well to decide what to do and whether to proceed with the arrangement.

Lu Lijun had heard few things from a distance and he knew what his family was discussing- Jiang Yuyan ready to marry someone else. 

Though he acted cold to Jiang Yuyan in the office and said what he didn’t mean, now he felt heavy in his chest and felt suffocated. The thought of her leaving him was killing him inside. Lu Lijun was about to turn around and leave but just then Elder Lu saw him and called for him.

”You are home? Come here. We are discussing something…..”

”Father, he must be tired. Let him go to his room and rest,” Lu Jinhai interrupted elder Lu. 

”Giving five minutes here won’t affect his rest. My grandson is strong like us,” Elder Lu said and called him, “Come here.”

Lu Lijun went towards where everyone was sitting.

”Yuyan said yes for the marriage finally and we all are happy. Isn’t it great news?” Elder Lu asked him.

Lu Lijun greeted his teeth as it was not something he could agree to ever. 

Not waiting for his answer, elder Lu said happily, “Soon we will have a wedding in the family. After so long our family will have a wedding to celebrate….”

”But it won’t be Yuyan and Alex grandpa,” Lu Lijun finally spoke. 

It surprised others with what he had just said. “What do you mean Lu Lijun?” Elder Lu asked while Lu Jinhai interrupted again, “Lu Lijun, you should go and rest.”

Lu Lijun ignored what his father said as he looked determined to do what he had in his mind for so long. He clenched his fists as so many thoughts ran into his mind. ‘Everyone forgot about his and Yuyan’s marriage. They don’t care about what he thought about it or expect him to have forgotten about it long back. No one ever tried to know what was in his mind all along even though he acted troublesomely. He was angry and frustrated at his situation. 

”Let him talk, Lu Jinhai,” elder Lu said and Lu Jinhai felt his palms turn sweaty. He could see his son was ready to disturb the peace in his house with the storm inside his mind. 

”Lu Lijun, What do you mean by that. You didn’t like Alex for Yuyan.”

”How can I like any other man for my own wife, Grandpa,” Lu Lijun asked, looking straight at his grandfather and he didn’t look like he had done something wrong. 

It made the atmosphere in the entire living room go silent and no one knew what to say. 

”Lu Lijun…what do you mean?” Ning Jiahui asked as she could not believe what she had heard. 

Lu Lijun calmly looked at his mother. “I said, how can I approve of any other man for my wife, mother. Yuyan is my wife and I am the only one for her.”

His clear answer shocked everyone. 

”Lu Lijun, are you out of your mind?” Ning Jiahui asked in disbelief. 

”No mother. You all must have forgotten that marriage in the temple but I didn’t. I could never forget that she is my wife even though I was away for so many years. That is the truth of my life and which I can not and would never want to change. I also don’t care what others think about that marriage whether it is valid or not. She is my wife and that’s the truth.”

Everyone was left stunned by this and could only look at each other in shock but again the entire place turned dead silent as Jiang Yuyan just entered the living room and heard it all. She was standing at a distance behind Lu Lijun and looked frozen in her place. His every word, loud and clear rang in her ears. 

Sensing everyone’s gaze behind him, Lu Lijun turned to see behind him and saw her standing there like a statue and looking at him in disbelief. 

Lu Lijun looked straight into her shocked and cold eyes but maintained his stance. As he had said it finally in front of everyone, he won’t back down, and neither would he apologize for it because he did nothing wrong. 

She stepped towards him and almost raised her hand to slap him which stopped midway. She could not hurt him. It was the only thing she could remember clearly and vividly. Instead, she would hurt herself. For all his mistakes she would pay on her own. 

”You…” She didn’t know how to express her anger. 

Lu Lijun looked at her, “You can hit me if you want but It won’t change what I had just said, and neither will I ever take it back.”

Others didn’t know how to stop it and how to meddle between the two.

Jiang Yuyan looked at the family members with her moist eyes which were trying hard to not show any tears. “Father-Mother, please inform the Choi family that we want this engagement as soon as possible.”

She looked back at Lu Lijun, “The marriage which is not legal, can’t stop me from marrying someone that I want to.”

It scared Lu Lijun inside but he maintained the calm. “I won’t sit back and see my wife getting married to someone else.”

”You can try whatever you want,” she warned and turned to leave the home. 

In such a situation she was sure she could not stay with the family. She was almost on the verge of crying as it finally happened what she didn’t want to and ended up disappointing the family. How shocked they must be after hearing it from Lu Lijun. It was all her mistake. She was the one to take that decision at that time and now everyone has to pay for it. 

Once again the living room turned silent after Jiang Yuyan left and no one dared stop her.
