To Yan Jia’s surprise, the locksmith did not arrive as quickly as the leaflet had said he would. Yan Jia waited in the quiet room for a while before the locksmith arrived.

However, it was not only the locksmith staff that came. Two other people who did not look much older than Yan Jia came with him, and they were all wearing the uniform of the Academy Law Enforcement Team.

“The locksmith did not take out a bunch of tools to unlock the lock like Yan Jia had imagined. Instead, he took out a key that was different from the one Yan Jia had forgotten to carry. The door of the quiet room, which could only be opened from the inside with a key, was immediately opened.

Yan Jia could not see what was happening outside in the room, but after receiving the news that the locksmith had arrived, he thought that he would need to wait for a while longer before he saw the man.  When he saw the three people in front of him, he was stunned for a moment.

He didn’t expect that the door to the room would be opened so quickly. Yan Jia was a little worried about the door that was supposed to be very safe.

He also didn’t expect that three people would open the door so easily, and two of them were from the law enforcement team.

Only then did Yan Jia realize that the locksmith was in front of him, and the “key” in the other party’s hands hadn’t been put away yet.

“Didn’t you say that the door to the quiet room can only be opened from the inside with a key? Is this the key?” Since Yan Jia did not understand, he had to ask.

“The locksmith fiddled with the” key ” as he answered, “this is the universal key distributed by the Academy, but don’t worry, every Universal Key is provided by the Academy, and every time it’s used, it has to be reported to the Academy. This way, no one will use it to steal. “

Before Yan Jia could reply, one of the two senior law enforcement team members brought out several certificates for him to sign.

After signing all the certificates and paying a considerable amount of “compensation,” Yan Jia finally understood everything.

It was very simple for someone like him to be locked in a quiet room. In fact, he only needed a staff member who unlocks doors to take care of him.

In the past, when the Academy was still in the sect, a quiet room like this was not as furnished as it was now. If any of the students wanted a quiet place like this where they would not be disturbed by anyone, they would need to apply to the sect and of course, pay up.

Later on, along with the reform, the capital of the Academy was further expanded. It was only after this that the large-scale construction of a quiet room like this started. However, it was still not as safe as it was now.

There were many people who had conflicts in private, and if they were unable to deal with their opponents in a direct confrontation, they would start to play some tricks in private. Without the intentionality of the Academy, the people who cultivated in the quiet room would no longer have any insurance. Thus, many of them were disturbed while cultivating.

Their thoughts would be interrupted, and their inspirations would be erased over and over again. It would be better if they went even further into deviatory psychosis. In fact, there were also many people who were injured by the Golden Core.

Due to the numerous complaints,  the quiet room of the Academy had become like this. It could only be opened from the inside, and there was no way to disturb the people inside even if it was so noisy outside.

Therefore, all the students would only have a ‘key’ in their hands, and the Academy would not allow the students to secretly equip another with the same ‘key’.

In reality, many people did not care, as they thought that their ‘key’ would not be obtained by others and so there would not be any harm. Fortunately, the Academy did not risk this. Every student was the wealth of the Academy, and the less than one-in-a-million chance of being interrupted from inspiration would bring more benefits to the Academy.

However, there would be many people like Yan Jia who would forget the key outside of the quiet room. Thus, such an all-purpose key would appear, and every time it was used, two members of the law enforcement team would be present to allow it to be used.

“Brother, what’s the matter with you all? Normally, it would be good if a few of you could lock yourselves up, but today we never stopped checking in. A dozen or so people kept running back and forth to your area. This is the fourteenth time I’ve come to your place. Why are there so many people today?”

The locksmith voiced his concerns to Yan Jia.

However, Yan Jia did not explain anything to the locksmith, and the locksmith did not care. He only complained. After the two senior law enforcement team members checked Yan Jia’s signed certificate and were the “compensation,” they left immediately. They still had to run to the next house.

After confirming that they had left, Yan Jia raised his right hand. A ball of flame started burning in his right palm, and it gradually wrapped his entire right hand up to his elbow. With the movement of his right hand, Yan Jia drew a bright trail in front of him.

Looking at the orange-red flame on his right arm, this was the first time Yan Jia had felt the flame so clearly. In the past, he felt like he was moving a bunch of things, but now it felt like an instinct. With a new pair of “hands,” he could easily control them with a raise of his hand.

With a thought, the flame suddenly rose from his hand, leaving the restraint of his palm. It kept moving in the air, constantly changing its shape.

Finally, it landed in front of Yan Jia and stopped. It gradually started to condense, and then it slowly became a ball, like another Yan Jia, except for the color.

Yan Jia could feel that besides using a little bit of strength at the beginning of the “ignition,” the flame after that was absorbing some matter in the air and burning. Did this mean that the ‘star’ in front of him could keep burning unless it was extinguished by an external force?
