Chapter 226 Blunder!

Li Tao froze when he heard the loud yell of Zhou Liying. He was still on the call when Zhou Liying yelled. He heard her very clearly. His breath stopped and he stumbled back. His grip on his phone loosened.

His brain froze. His heart dropped in his stomach which was full of knots. Cold sweat appeared on his forehead and neck. He was all ready to pee in scare. He knew his call was on a bad timing. His boss was going to have his ass now.

With shivering hands, he ended the call. He closed his eyes and started to pray to the god, pray for him to save him for his unintentional mistake.

Mu Yuehan was completely clueless about the presence of Fan Yifeng in his office. He was well aware of the rule of being in a relationship. And that was why, in the last four years, he never had any deals with Fan or Qin corporations.

He tried his best to stay away from them. He wished to destroy those corporations because of their owners but he did not. He wanted Zhou Liying to do this work. He wanted her to have her revenge with her own hands.

"Trust me. I do not know what Fan Yifeng is doing in office. I have never dealt with him, nor will I deal with him in future." He pleaded with desperation.

"Trust you?" she mocked. "Why will I trust you when I know that you know Fan Yifeng?" She wrapped her arms around her chest and looked at him with cold eyes.

"I don't have any dealing with him. I have no idea what he is doing in my office building." Mu Yuehan yelled, to prove his innocence.

"Keep yelling Mister Mu. But I am not going to believe in you." She chuckled humourlessly. "Leave my house before I call Aiden to throw you out. I do not even want to see your face ever again in future. Traitor." Her voice was firm and harsh.

Mu Yuehan sighed sadly. He placed the dirty dishes and tray aside. He took his phone from her. "I know you are angry and that's why you are not thinking logically. You know my dedication for you. You know my honesty. You know I have no idea what Fan Yifeng is doing in my office. You are only pushing me away because of other reasons."

With that said, he left her penthouse. He wanted to give some time to Zhou Liying to cool down. He also needed to deal with Li Tao and Fan Yifeng.

'What the hell Is Fan Yifeng doing in the office? How can he enter inside at first place?'

The moment he left her house and stepped into the foyer; his aura turned dark. His eyes turned frosty. It turned very cold in the foyer. It looked no less than a glacier with Ice all around In the foyer.

His phone in his hand too turned very cold. If someone was to step into the foyer then he would have died because of cold.

Mu Yuehan called Li Tao and he immediately felt his coldness seeping in him. He increased the temperature of the heater. He gulped, waiting for the words of Mu Yuehan.

"What the hell is he doing in my office?" His voice was loud, full of threat and rage.

"He came In here using the privilege card of Miss Mu. She is a friend with the second young daughter of the Qin family." Li Tao informed. "I tried to stop him but he showed her card on my face. Miss Qin is also here with him."

"Get them thrown out of my office right now. Ask the guards to backlist them. I don't want to see them ever again."

"But boss, we can't forget that he is the CEO of Fan corporation. It will not look good for us if we sends him away, especially when he holds the VIP card. From my view, you should give him some face and meet him."

"Are you my boss or am I your boss? Li Tao, I think you are fed up in doing your job as my assistant. Do you want me to fire you?" he tilted his neck and threatened dangerously.

"No boss. Sorry boss. I will get them out of the building right now." Li Tao spoke abruptly. He sighed with relief when Mu Yuehan ended the call. Without delay, he ran toward the extra office of Mu Yuehan.

Li Tao too did not like Fan Yifeng much. So, when he was informed about his arrival with Qin Yutong, instead of taking them to the office of Mu Yuehan, he took them to the old office of Mu Yuehan which was no longer in use.

His dislike toward Fan Yifeng had nothing to do with the hate of Mu Yuehan toward him. Actually, before joining Mu Corporation, he had worked for Fan Zixin, father of Fan Yifeng for some time.

Li Tao liked Fan Zixin. He was a hardworking man, a man of tactics and ethics. But he hated Fan Yifeng. From what he remembered, at that time, Fan Yifeng was a spoiled rich brat. He was famous for doing all type of drugs.

He was a big headache for Fan Zixin because of his expenses. Fan Yifeng at that time loved to spend money without any care over Qin Yifeng. Throwing parties for show off was common for him.

Li Tao knew that Fan Yifeng had joined the family business and got on the right track only when Fan Zixin threw him out of the house without any fund with him. One month without any money or status gave him the lesson of his life. And then, Zhou Liying entered his life, making business interesting for him.

Li Tao entered in the office. He sneered when he saw Fan Yifeng and Qin Yutong seated on the sofa as if this whole office belonged to them. He snorted when he saw the short and tight dress of Qin Yutong. It was yelling out loud, 'She wore me to impress Mu Yuehan.'

"Is Fan Yifeng a fool? Can he not understand the intention of his fiancé when I, a stranger to them can understand her very well?'

"Mister Fan, I am sorry to inform you but boss can't meet you today. He is busy somewhere else. He asked me to show you the way out." Li Tao said in a fake sweet voice.

Intentions behind his expressions and words were clear to Fan Yifeng, he was being thrown out from the Mu corporation. Mu Yuehan did not care about his presence.

He was a king and he cares less about giving some random CEO face.
