Chapter 176 Danger.

Mu Yuehan cursed out aloud when he heard Li Tao. His heart stopped beating and his mind went into a frenzy for a second before he brought himself back into his control. He needed to take quick action to ensure the safety of his woman, who foolishly was going into the mouth of her death.

"Li Tao, order our guards around the dockyard to take immediate action. Clear the dockyard of any eagle man before the arrival of Zhou Liying. I don't want any harm to come on her." Mu Yuehan ordered and picked up his coat.

He walked toward the elevator with Li Tao behind him. Li Tao was on a conference call with the guards of Mu Yuehan, giving away the orders.

"I don't care about the number of men. Send as many men as you can. I want each eagle member to be caught. Alert the military in case of need. Also, call the traffic officer and ask him to delay the car of Zhou Liying by any means."

Mu Yuehan was freaking out from inside. Something tight was gripping his heart. He was having a hard time breathing because of fear but he gave the orders in his usual cold and strict voice. There was sweat on his forehead and terror in his heart, terror for his stupid girl.

'Doesn't she know that the eagle gang is after her life? Then how dare of her to travel anywhere without any worry? Was there any need for her to visit the dockyard? Was she not concerned about her safety at all?'

He was fuming with rage for her. It was hard for him to breathe with each passing second. He was eager to see Zhou Liying all well, and then yell at her for her foolishness. His heart was squeezing tight in his chest because of worry and concern for her.

He entered his car and Li Tao drove it at the highest speed.

"I don't care if you break the traffic rules. Take me to the dockyard before Zhou Liying. I want to ensure that everything is alright." Mu Yuehan ordered and Li Tao nodded his head.

Li Tao looked at his boss with concern. He was angry at Zhou Liying for walking in danger but wasn't he doing the same, walking in danger? What if the eagle gang attacked him too?

"But why is she going at the dockyard in the first place?" he asked.

"An article was released by someone, early in the morning. I guess she is going to catch the author of the said article. Eagle gang must have lured her to the dockyard using some article and a fake author."

Mu Yuehan nodded his head. He pulled out his phone and searched for the article written about his girl. A vein in his neck pumped hard when he read the article and the way she was slandered.

Mu Yuehan called his IT team without wasting any second and ordered them to get the said article removed in the shortest time possible.

"Car of Miss Zhou is already on the traffic surveillance cameras. It will be stopped at every red light. The timing of red light is also intruded. It will take her long to arrive at the dockyard." Li Tao reported. "Your elite soldiers have also arrived at the dockyard and they are surveying the area."

Mu Yuehan nodded his head and looked out from the window, feeling anxious and fearful. He knew nothing was going to happen to Zhou Liying when his elite soldiers were there but still, he felt scared.

His sixth sense was yelling at him that he was missing something and he did not know what!

"Uncle Jiang, why are you driving so slow? I want to reach the dockyard asap. I don't want to miss the author." Zhou Liying complained.

"I am sorry Miss, but there seems some problem with traffic signals. We are facing red signals at every crossing and their timing is also long." Her driver informed, trying his best to drive his car in the traffic which collected because of red light.

Zhou Liying groaned and again looked at the article written about her. The said article was translated into many languages and was posted online.

Someone wrote this article with a clear purpose of irritating her and destroying her reputation.

She pulled her phone and made a call to Liam, "How much more time to remove this article?"

"Denver is working on it. He is doing his best to remove this article. This article was written from an IP which is not registered anywhere. That is why it is taking so long to get it removed." Liam clarified. "Give us ten more minutes and the article will be permanently removed."

"Be quick. I don't want to hear your excuses." Zhou Liying said in a cold voice and ended the call.

"Why is it taking you so long to arrive at the dockyard?" Mu Yuehan shouted at Li Tao.

"I am sorry, boss. It's peak hour. There is a lot of traffic on the road." Li Tao apologised guiltily, trying his best it drive the car in the traffic.

"Be quick and fast."

The heart of Mu Yuehan did not rest for a second for the last twenty-five minutes. It was beating fast with worry and concern. He was satisfied that Zhou Liying did not arrive at the dock till now but eagle members were still not caught and it made him worrisome.

Above that, the nagging feeling was not helping him out.

'I get it that she wants to be independent, but does being independent means walking in danger without any safety jacket.' He murmured to himself and again cursed Zhou Liying under her breath.

"Till now, we have caught only one eagle member. The elite group is not able to find the other members. It seems like they have changed their position."

He closed his eyes, trying his best to think, trying to think what he was missing and that was when he remembered his own words, 'Eagle gang did their second attack on the most expected time.'

He was expecting them to wait for Zhou Liying at the dockyard but they were planning to kidnap her, to execute their plan along the way.

"Li Tao, immediately call the elite group. Ask them to cover the route from which Zhou Liying is travelling."
