Chapter 138 Deep Secrets

There are many benefits of sleeping with your partner. A person feels more refreshed and active. Small naps are also like a few hours of sleep. It helps to fight anxiety and stress of a person. It keeps the blood pressure of a person in control.

And at the top, it makes the person happy!

Today again, Yuehan realised the true benefits of sleeping with his partner in his arms.

When he opened his eyes at six in the morning, after two hours of his sleep, due to his natural body clock, he saw Zhou Liying laying against his chest. She was unconsciously clutching his shirt.

He removed the hair locks from her face to have a clear look at her face. He was looking at this face, from so close after such a long time.

Tenderly, he trailed his finger on her feature which were like before.

When she was up, she looked strong and stubborn headed but now, when lying in his arms, she looked harmless, weak and innocent lady, just like she looked at juju island.

Mu Yuehan sighed. With much difficulty, he parted himself away from her. He stood up from the bed and made his way toward the window.

He had hardly slept for two hours but he felt all refreshed and this was the effect of sleeping with her. His sleep, which was gone with her, now was back when she was here. He could sleep with a calm mind with her in his arms.

In the past, he rarely slept for three hours a day. There was a time, when he stayed up without sleep for three days, only falling asleep when exhaustion completely took over him.

But today, he wanted to return to the bed, to sleep for some more time. He wanted to spoil himself a little by sleeping for some more time.

He shook his head and opened the window. He walked toward the balcony and took a deep breath. He wanted to clear his mind which was filled with greed, greed to hug her tight and fall asleep.

He pulled out his phone from his pocket and made a call to Min Yue. "Min Yue, it's me Hanhan."

"I know, I have your number saved on my phone." Min Yue reminded him. They were the ones to exchange numbers. "Why have you called me at this hour of the morning."

"I have a message for you from miss. Last night, the condition of elder Qin was not good. She will stay with him for the time being. She will not be able to attend the office." He informed her.

"And you know about this because…." there was doubt in her voice.

"I was cooking dinner for her when she received the call that her grandpa was sick. Now, she is having a rest. Any more questions?" there was slight irritation in his voice.

Min Yue frowned when she heard his crude voice. It was like talking to a male version of her miss when she had first met her. "No question."

"Also, ask someone to deliver her clothes to the Zhou hotels. We are in her presidential suite."

"Alright."

Mu Yuehan ended the call. He then made a call to Li Tao, to give some instructions to him.

He then returned to the room and sulked a deep breath. He saw Zhou Liying sleeping, and again, the same greed filled his heart.

He closed the window and properly covered them with the curtains, making the room dark. He walked toward Zhou Liying and once again, he laid down beside her, to have some more sleep.

Mu Yuehan woke up from his sleep after an hour when he received a call from Min Yue that she was at the hotel reception with the dress for Zhou Liying.

Mu Yuehan went to the reception to receive her day-to-day stuff. He returned back and again, he fell asleep beside her, knowing well that he did not have any other work.

Next time, he woke up when he received a call. "Hello." His voice was groggy but still, it held authority.

"Am I talking to Mister Mu?" he heard from another side.

"Yes, it's me." He replied and rub his eyes using his left hand. He carefully untangled Zhou Liying from his arms and sat straight on the bed.

"I am Zhang Wei speaking, assistant of Qin Yanze. Can you come and see the boss? He has something important to tell you." There was urgency in his voice.

"I am coming." He replied.

He stood up from the bed. He looked at Zhou Liying, not willing to go. But he knew, it must be something important that he received a call from assistant Zhang like this.

After ten minutes, Mu Yuehan was in the hospital and the room of Qin Yanze. He sat beside him on the small stool. Qin Yanze took his hand and looked at him with hopeful eyes.

"I did what you asked me to do."

"Thank you." There was gratitude in the voice of Mu Yuehan. "I promise, you will not regret it. I will treat Lili like a queen."

"I know, assistant Zhang told me about last night." Qin Yanze took a deep breath, finding it difficult to speak. "I called you here because I have a request to make to you."

"Ask me anything." Mu Yuehan held onto his hand with both his hands and looked at him with assurance.

"Protect my TianTian. I don't have enough time to explain, but in future, few men may come after her life. They will try to kill her. You have to protect her." He said in between huge gulps of breath.

Mu Yuehan wanted to ask the reason but he did not, knowing well that Qin Yanze did not have time or strength to tell him everything.

"Also, I have a secret hidden from TianTian. I don't know if it will come out or not but if it comes out in the future, she may become angry at me. Tell her, I was sorry. I have hidden the secret so as to not harm her."

Tears slipped out from the eyes of Qin Yanze and he shut them tight. "I am leaving my TianTian in your hands, look after her."

"I will."

Mu Yuehan left the room after some time when Qin Yanze fell asleep.

After coming out, he looked at assistant Zhang. "He was talking about some secret. Do you know about it?"

"I don't know." He shook his head. "Unfortunately, there are many deep secrets which boss has hidden in his heart. I am not aware of many of them."

Mu Yuehan nodded his head. Without wasting any second, he called Wang Wei, to search into the deep history of Qin Yanze, to find if he had some secret hidden in his past.
