134 FLAME TO HELL

It felt like a fire suddenly lit up in Wu Jinhai’s head, and his head felt like it was burning after hearing the man’s words. Controlled by his rage, Wu Jinhai gathered all his strength in his legs as he pressed his head under his feet with all his might.

But then he heard the black wolf suddenly burst into laughter. “Yes, Your Highness!” The wolf spoke between laughs. “You are right that you should kill me! Don’t keep me alive, otherwise, I will spread the rumor to everyone in this world! I will tell everyone that you are no longer a normal human if you let me live, Your Highness!”

Even after Wu Jinhai tortured the man more, the man became more daring than frightened. The man with the scar on his face even looked confident when he asked Wu Jinhai to kill him, and those words only acted like a fan causing the fire in Wu Jinhai’s heart to grow even bigger.

Wu Jinhai was indeed angry at the provocation, but then he realized something as he stopped pressing his foot on the wolf’s head. ‘This man wants me to kill him, huh? He is deliberately trying to provoke me so that I will kill him immediately? Is that his real goal?’ He suddenly made another deduction in his head.

He caught a glimpse of the other two men who were fighting Wu Jiang, and he just realized that the two men seemed to be letting Wu Jiang slash their bodies without showing too much resistance.

‘So, these three men wanted to be killed after they destroyed the barrier under someone’s orders? Maybe it’s also part of the order they received from the person who hired them,’ again, Wu Jinhai managed to make another deduction in his head.

With that in mind, Wu Jinhai quickly let go of the head as he took a step back, but the black wolf still chuckled in his position on the ground.

“Why did you suddenly stop, Your Highness?” The black wolf asked in amusement. “I have insulted you, and I deserve to be punished by you. Why do you suddenly look scared now? You dare not kill me?”

The black wolf still had his body on the ground, and it seemed that he didn’t have much energy left in his body, but still dared to insult the Prince of Wu Li.

.....

“I won’t kill you, but I will capture you instead,” Wu Jinhai replied as he was about to take a step forward, but he stopped himself when he once again heard the wolf’s laughter.

“You can’t capture me, Your Highness! You only have one choice in your hands, and that is to kill me! But if you don’t want to kill me, then we will kill ourselves now!”

Wu Jinhai was dumbfounded when he heard the wolf’s statement. He noticed that the wolf was using the word ‘we’ instead of ‘I,’ and he could understand the meaning when he suddenly turned his head to the side to look at the two other men who were defeated by his sword earlier.

However, he knew that he couldn’t do anything because the two men’s bodies were suddenly enveloped by black flames that shot out of thin air, and when he turned toward the black wolf in front of him, he could see that the wolf was also being swallowed up by the same black flame.

From the corner of his eye, he could see Wu Jiang was about to move to touch the black flames, but he quickly shouted, “Don’t touch the flames!”

Wu Jinhai sounded a little panicked, and the black wolf, whose lower body was devoured by the black flames, still had a chance to laugh.

“Yes! It’s best not to touch this black flame because it will devour everything it comes into contact with!” The black wolf spoke amidst his laughter. “I know you want to get more information about me, but you won’t be able to do that, Prince Wu Jinhai! I will be eaten by these black flames, and I will disappear from this world without leaving a trace! You will get nothing from me!”

And the black wolf couldn’t even laugh for a long time because the black flames had devoured him without leaving a trace. The flames went crazy to eat every flesh and bone, and it only disappeared when the ‘food’ was completely eaten.

Wu Jinhai gritted his teeth, and when he glanced at the two men guarded by Wu Jiang, he no longer saw the black flames because the flames had finished devouring the two men.

“I didn’t expect these three bastards to know how to use such the powerful Flame to Hell,” Wu Jinhai muttered as he clenched his fists. “Flame to Hell is strong, but it can only be used for suicide. The original plan of these three bastards was to kill themselves after releasing the beast from the core, and that’s why they are not afraid of death even if they are weaker than me. I can guess their plan, but I still failed to prevent their suicide.”

Wu Jinhai couldn’t help but blame himself. He didn’t think that those people would know how to use Flame to Hell, so he thought that he would be able to prevent them from committing suicide.

“Instead of blaming yourself, you better help me out of this transparent thing. The show is boring, so I want my money back.”

Wu Jinhai looked dumbfounded when he suddenly heard a voice greet his ears. His mind was in chaos, so he automatically turned to Wu Jiang who was still floating not far from him. However, the sword once again only tilted itself as if it was a child who couldn’t understand Wu Jinhai’s gaze, and Wu Jinhai knew that the voice couldn’t possibly belong to Wu Jiang.

He suddenly widened his golden eyes, but then the light in his eyes gradually faded as they returned to their original brown color. The voice did not belong to Wu Jiang, and he knew that only one person could say such a thing to him.

Turning his body, he could see a pair of blue eyes staring at him while looking bored as usual. Wu Jinhai was too focused on the previous battle, and he had no idea that Bai Chen had woken up from his slumber.

The Werewolf Prince had woken up, but because of the golden shield, the man was still in a reclining position on the ground because he couldn’t move within the barrier. Wu Jinhai knew that Bai Chen would wake up, but the time was faster than he expected.

Wu Jinhai realized that he had made a lot of miscalculations tonight, but he still brought his feet towards Bai Chen before stopping next to the man. Raising his hand, he then absorbed the golden shield that had been protecting Bai Chen for a while.

After he was no longer bound by the golden shield, Bai Chen immediately jumped up with both feet before grabbing Wu Jinhai by the collar. “You really are a liar!” He immediately shouted in the face of the taller man.

Bai Chen even tiptoed so that his face could be closer to the golden mask, and Wu Jinhai was forced to pull his head away due to the distance. “Why do you say I’m a liar?” He calmly replied.

Bai Chen looked angry now, and even the veins on his neck were protruding from his anger. “Everything about you is bullshit, Wu Jinhai! From the moment you refused to help Bai Renshu and Shao Meihui, I knew you were a liar!”

{HOST, YOU BETTER STOP SPEAKING SO HARSHLY TO THE CHARACTER ‘WU JINHAI’ IF YOU DON’T WANT ME TO GIVE YOU AN OOC WARNING}

It had been a long time since Bai Chen had heard the system’s sound, and when he heard it again, he seemed to have come to his senses as he let go of Wu Jinhai’s collar. Fortunately, the system didn’t give him a warning right away, and he was still lucky because of that.

“About Bai Renshu and Shao Meihui, I don’t think I’m lying to you on this,” Wu Jinhai defended himself calmly. “I admit I miscalculated, but I’m not lying at all. You can’t call me a liar just because of that.”

Bai Chen still pursed his lips, and his brows were still furrowed uncomfortably, and he was silent for a while before the corner of his eyes caught something not far from them.

“You can say that you didn’t lie to me about Bai Renshu and Shao Meihui, but you lied to me about Wu Jiang! You said that Wu Jiang would only listen to my orders after I called its name, but I saw it with my eyes when it was easy for you to use it to fight earlier! Do you want to take back Wu Jiang? You won’t let me have the sword again?”

And Wu Jinhai was silent. Who would have thought that an angry Bai Chen would turn into a crybaby Bai Chen in the blink of an eye?
