Villain Ch 111. What Is That?

Bella's sigh interrupted their conversation. She looked down at her inventory screen. "I'm running out of these," she said, frowning. She used a lot of her skills during the battle, so her potions were running out quickly.

Rather than answering her immediately, Allen glanced around them, his eyes scanning the trees as if he looked of something. Soon, he could see an orc lurking behind one of the trees, its beady eyes watching them intently. He returned his gaze to Bella, a thoughtful expression on his face.

"I can refill your Mana if you want," he said, offering her a small smile. "I have a skill that can do it."

Bella's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? You can do that?"

After nodding, Allen walked over to Bella, his eyes focused on her intently. He could see the exhaustion etched on her face, the fatigue of battle taking its toll on her. Without a word, he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.

Bella was surprised at first, but then she felt a wave of warmth spreading through her body. She closed her eyes and let herself sink into the kiss, feeling the tension slowly melting away.

As Allen continued to kiss her, he activated his Energy Transfer skill. He could feel his own HP and DP decreasing slightly, but it was worth it to see the look of surprise and relief on Bella's face as her own HP and DP were fully restored.

The rest of the group watched in shock as Allen leaned in to kiss Bella. The only one who knew about this skill was Jane, and she had never seen Allen use it on anyone else before. The rest of the group had no idea what was happening.

Bella's heart pounded. She had always hoped that Allen would make a move on her, but she never expected it to happen in front of the others like this. She glanced around, seeing the rest of the group watching them with varying degrees of surprise and amusement.

"What was that?" she asked once he broke their kiss, her voice slightly breathless.

"That was my healing skill," Allen replied, a small smile on his lips. "Are you feeling better now?" he asked, his voice soft.

Bella nodded, still feeling embarrassed and a little bit shocked. "Yes," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I just wanted to help you out," he said. "I didn't mean to embarrass you."

Bella looked up at him, her eyes softening. "I know," she said, a small smile on her lips. "It's just that I wasn't expecting it."

Alice spoke up, her tone inquisitive. "What skill was that? I've never seen you use it before."

Allen turned to face Alice, his expression thoughtful. "It's called Energy Transfer," he explained. "It's a healing skill that's similar to Healing Light, but it can also refill our DP."

Alice nodded, understanding dawning on her face. "Ah, I see," she said. "That's a really useful skill."

Allen grinned, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, it definitely comes in handy when we're running low on potions," he said. "But the downside is that the cooldown is pretty long and it requires a kiss to activate it."

The group laughed softly, some of them shaking their heads in amusement. "So, you have to kiss someone to use it?" Zoe asked, her tone teasing.

Allen shrugged, a hint of embarrassment on his face. "Yeah, it's a little impractical to use in the middle of a battle," he said. "But for situations like this, it's really useful."

As he talked, Allen raised his hand and summoned his demonic lances, which glowed with an eerie black glow. The lances materialized in his hand, and he hurled them at the nearby orc with deadly precision. It reduced the orc's HP drastically and before it could take its last breath, he used his Soul Siphon on it. The orc's energy poured into Allen, refilling his own HP and DP.

He did everything casually as if it was his daily work.

"So, you mean you can refill our health and mana with a kiss?" asked Shea.

Allen turned to her and nodded, "Yes, that's correct. As long as we're not in the middle of a battle, I can use my Energy Transfer skill."

Zoe said, "That's pretty cool. We could definitely use that in a pinch."

Bella blushed a little, still feeling a bit embarrassed from the earlier kiss, but she couldn't deny the usefulness of the skill.

Allen continued, "Just keep in mind the cooldown time. Also, if we're in the Cursed Crypts, I prefer to use 'other means' to gain additional status attributes." They knew what he meant was lewd acts.

Due to his words, Allen noticed the restlessness in Shea's body language and how she fidgeted with her fingers. He raised his eyebrows and asked, "What's wrong? Is there something on your mind?"

Shea bit her lip and hesitated for a moment before blurting out, "Um, nothing, really. I just thought...what if we switch maps and target the mini-boss, like we planned before?"

Allen tilted his head to the side, studying her carefully. He knew there was more to it than just switching maps. But he decided to hold his tongue since he didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

"Sure, we can do that," he said with a smile. "We've been here long enough anyways."

Shea nodded, relieved that Allen didn't press any further. She was still feeling a bit embarrassed about what he had said earlier. But at the same time, she couldn't help but feel curious about Allen's Energy Transfer skill.

The group was about to move to another map, but the peaceful ambiance of the forest was suddenly disrupted by the sound of leaves rustling. The group stopped talking and fell silent, their ears perked up, trying to discern the source of the noise.

Soon, they could hear the sound of leaves crunching underfoot getting closer. The voices grew louder. They knew it belonged to the players.
