Villain Ch 19. Most Wanted Player

The atmosphere was charged with otherworldly energy as Allen and his group materialized in the Cursed Crypts once again. But instead of finding themselves in the familiar portal room, they stumbled out onto the grounds of the mansion.

The gate loomed before them, tall and wrought iron, its rusty hinges creaking in the chilly night air. The moon shone down on the eerie scene, casting long shadows across the unkempt yard. The grass was overgrown and tangled, the trees twisted and gnarled, their branches reaching out like grasping fingers.

"Welcome back, heartless demons!" An NPC in a maid's uniform greeted them. Her name was Thera. Yes, she was everywhere. Included in this place. But than usual, this Thera looked more ghostly with her pale face and tattered maid uniform.

As he appeared there, an announcement appeared in front of him.

[Congratulations you have completed your first war event!]

[You have killed 117 players!]

[You have killed 25 NPCs!]

[You have destroyed 30 structures!]

[Town of Ilude destruction is 54 %!]

[Level up!] X14

[You are now level 15!]

[You got 2302 Coins]

A grin appeared on his lips. "That is easy farming," he exclaimed. Within 10 minutes, he had risen to level 15.

Kafra's voice cut through his reverie. "What do you think? Fun, right?" she asked, a grin spreading across her face. The others nodded in agreement, their expressions awash with joy.

He turned to Kafra, a smile playing across his lips. Her bat form was still intact. "Yes," he replied, his voice tinged with wonder. "This is incredible."

"You know what? I think being a villain is quite fun," Lilieth said, her eyes sparkling with delight. It was clear she was reveling in the experience, and who could blame her?

"I agree," said Grimora, the necromancer. She was a vision in blonde, her hair cascading down her back in golden waves. Her outfit was striking - a form-fitting black leather catsuit that showed her cleavage cut that left little to the imagination. But it was her headwear that truly caught the eye - a black and white habit that marked her as a nun, albeit a rather unorthodox one.

"You want to know how I did it?" she asked, a sly grin spreading across her lips. "I made them all kill each other. It was easy, really. I just summoned my army of the undead and let them loose on the players. They didn't stand a chance," she chuckled.

The girls huddled together, chatting excitedly about the last war event. Kafra listened intently, nodding and offering occasional words of encouragement. But Allen's attention was elsewhere. His eyes were fixed on the tower in the distance, a brooding presence that loomed over the landscape like a giant sentinel.

Curious, Allen's hand waved in front of him, and a holographic display shimmered into existence. He opened his inventory to his map. His eyes scanned the glowing interface until they fixed on a name that excited him. Tower of Power.

As he read the description of the place, Allen's heart began to race. This could be their leveling ground, he realized, at least until they were level 50. The tower was a formidable structure, built by a long-forgotten civilization and filled with ancient secrets and powerful artifacts. It was rumored to be haunted by the ghosts of those who had dared to venture inside, and few had ever returned alive.

"Guys, do you want to level up with me tonight?" Allen said, turning to his companions. They were still inside Cyber Building, so they couldn't possibly do it right now.

"What kind of leveling?" Lullaby teased, a sly grin playing across her lips.

Allen grinned back at her, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "That," he said, pointing towards a distant tower that rose up from the horizon.

The girls' gaze fell on the tower, and they felt a thrill of excitement run through their bodies.

Kafra turned to face the group. "The Game developer has prepared that tower specifically for you," she said. "It's going to be your very own leveling ground, a place where you can hone our skills and grind your levels."

"But there's a catch," Kafra continued, her voice dropping to a whisper. "While you are out in the field, you'll also be competing against other players. It's just for level 50+ maps only. They'll be trying to kill you, just like you'll be trying to kill them."

The group fell silent, their eyes fixed on Kafra as she spoke. This was a new level of danger, a new challenge that they had never faced before.

"Unless you use your disguises, of course," Kafra added with a sly grin. "Then you can blend in with the other players and strike when they least expect it. Also, you can't enter any towns or cities with this form except at the event time."

"So we are simply the most wanted guy in this game?" Allen asked, his eyes wide with wonder. It was a strange feeling, being both feared and admired in equal measure. He couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at it.

Kafra smiled at him, her eyes shining with amusement. She transformed back into her humanoid form.

"That's right," Kafra said, her voice low and throaty. "You are the ones that everyone wants to take down, the ones that everyone fears. But that's also why we selected certain players to do this task. We know that not everyone has what it takes to face the challenges that lie ahead."

Allen shrugged, his face calm and composed. He knew that they had what it took to succeed, to become the most powerful and feared players in the game. "Fair enough," he said simply, his voice filled with quiet determination.

The Fox Demon, Eira, spoke up, her voice ringing clear. "I think we should focus on filling our HP and DP first," she said, her eyes fixed on Allen.

The rest of the group turned to him, their expressions expectant as they waited for his response. He immediately understood her meaning since he was the one who asked them to do it. It was his first request in the game.
