Chapter 155 Carmilla House (2)

It was at this point that Rhea, who had been about to leave to go to other areas of Nyx, came to a pause as she saw the scene.

"Well, I think that's something that Lukas would want to hear about." Rhea said and then wondered if it was better to stay here and read the situation some more or inform the guy immediately.

Rhea actually enjoyed watching the scene because she had been mostly stuck in a crystal for who knows how long.

"This is almost as good as dreams." Rhea actually wanted to try one of those 'human' things that have popped up in Lukas' dreams… the popcorn to eat while watching.

However, she reluctantly pulled herself away and started to fly away from the scene.

While Rhea left Lukas before he had arrived at his destination, the connection between them was strong and she was able to easily pinpoint where he was currently located.

The Dream Eater flew and made her way back to Lukas.

"I think they've stayed with each other for over the past weeks that it never really occurred to them to have communication devices with each other too." Rhea muttered to herself.

While not exactly updated on the modern technology, she knew that they should have a way to contact each other but it didn't get brought up at all due to them only separating now.

"I guess that's what I'm here for." Rhea said.

"Not the best of plans, eh, Theodore?" Alexei said as he stretched.

"It might have worked if you didn't blabber." Stacy narrowed her eyes at her brother, but glanced at Theodore from the corner of her vision.

She understood that the 'Farkas' association was bad, but still wanted to know what actions they would take.

Theodore looked at Rowena Carmilla with a cold smile on his face. He was almost relieved with the reaction of her two other sisters, but it was a lot more striking and… painful to know that the fact that he was a 'Farkas' was altogether rejected.

As if it was truly that terrible to be.

But then again, Theodore wondered if the situation with the Aurelius House truly had been fixed when the young lord had left them nearly muted earlier.

"Perhaps it seems like Celes truly intended for you folks to be revealed today." Theodore sighed and then stepped out of the car. "You can check my companions at the back."

"Have them come out, unarmed." Rowena said.

It didn't take too long for Stacy and Alexei to leave the van and meet the three sisters. At this point, there was quite a traffic occurring as some Vampires chose to stay and watch the commotion.

"Well?" Theodore glanced at the three sisters of the Carmilla House. While it wasn't explicitly stated that noble bloodlines could detect one another, Theodore had surmised that it was an innate ability.

"Are they from the same House as you?" Catherine turned to Theodore with a frown.

"They don't look the same." Genevieve said. "But that's not always the case with family."

Theodore blinked and quickly realized that he was wrong and that made him a little worried.

Most noble bloodlines were supposed to retain the original gifts from their ancestors, and even the Progenitor.

However, the two Carmilla daughters didn't have the instant connection that occurred when the Aurelius son met the two Vardoken siblings.

"... who are you people?" Rowena frowned and narrowed her eyes at the two siblings. There was a flicker in her chest that occurred when she met the eyes of Stacy and Alexei, something that hadn't happened with Theodore.

She might have dismissed it entirely as a fluke, and yet she couldn't remove her eyes from them.

While not the most attractive of Vampires, they had a certain quality about them that put Rowena on guard.

"We're the Vardokens, that's who." Alexei shrugged. Since Theodore said that it was their time to be revealed, he didn't find the need to hide it any longer.

Stacy flinched a little at her brother's words–it was still a painful thing to reveal, but somehow he was able to do it without any problem.

"That's…" Rowena's gaze hardened. "Do you know that lying about bloodlines is a crime? Things might have changed over the years, but that's supposed to be punishable by death."

"We met a young Aurelius Lord and I am sure that he can confirm what they've said." Theodore said. "Either way, that should be enough to satisfy you and we can leave right?"

"Of course not." Rowena turned to the assassin. "You were lying too."

Theodore inwardly sighed, and wished that he was lying but that hadn't been the case.

"Who are the Vardokens?" Genevieve quietly whispered to Catherine.

"I… that's one of the extinct Houses!" Catherine's eyes widened.

"We would like to confirm the validity of your statements." Rowena said and turned to the two Vardokens.

"Ugh." Alexei sighed.

"This is partly your fault, you know?" Stacy frowned at her brother.

"Hey, I'm not the one who decided it was better to say the truth." Alexei protested.

"Weren't we supposed to go attend a party?" Genevieve grumbled.

"Some things are more important than a party, we should go back home and meet back with everyone." Rowena sighed. "If there's anyone who can verify what they said, I'm sure great-grandmother would be able to do so."

"Nooo, I don't want to meet granny." Catherine complained.

Theodore took note of their words and became a little more satisfied.

If there was anyone who could at least recognize the Vardokens, then it would be someone who was alive during the time where the Vardokens were still more or less respected.

And yet that would simply put a lot more pressure at Lux.

"This will truly lead to a lot of complications." Theodore didn't think that he'd care about it, since he was more concerned with Lily's conditions, but that didn't erase his loyalty to Lux entirely.

But what was done was done.
