"May I see your ID's?", the man replied, directing them to place it on the platform right in front of them.

Doing as told, Noah and James gave the man their cards. During the short moment the man used to look through their cards, Noah took a glance at the man's level.

[Carl]

[Tier: 1]

[Level: 24]

[Chances of death: 0%]

Seeing that nothing was really special about the person, Noah moved on.

Retrieving their cards after Carl was done. They waited a few seconds since Carl's seemed to look for something, when he found it he opened his mouth to talk.

"We currently have two job request like that, you will have to go meet them yourselves, though I am sure they would gladly accept you due to your power. The only difference may be their payment, and time of departure." He explained, handing over to them, two papers that had the description of their potential employers.

"Beware, if the employers do not return to update the request, then we will assume you were not hired", Carl added as they left the line.

Thanking him, they both read through the job descriptions.

The first employer was a merchant, who wanted to move his goods to Crilion, but needed 10 people who were at least as strong as the peak of tier 1. He said he would pay them 1 small silver coin per person for the at least three weeks of travel.

While the second employer was surprisingly the personal guard of a small noble family's heir.

According to the description, the heir wanted to take part in the coming Bozolom, and they would need 9 people who were at least as strong as the lower stage of tier 2. The pay was higher than the merchants' coming at 5 small silver per person.

After they were done with the descriptions, they couldn't help but know which to choose. "Definitely the noble families heir", Noah said first. As James could only smile since he was going for the same.

According to the description, they were to meet at the South wing of the building, where the personal guard was. The description didn't specify where in the south wing, but they didn't really put their mind on the matter.

"Though how do we know which is which?", Noah eventually asked after they were done deciding.

"There is a map inside", James replied pointing at the place where carriages could be seen.

Walking inside the place, Noah found there was truly a map that described the whole place, and where each wing was. From the map Noah got to know that the place was really bigger than he thought.

Spending about ten minutes of walking inside the massive building, they eventually got to what seemed like a gate that separated the place from the main hall, but at the top of the gate was a sign 'South'.

Glancing shortly at each other, Noah and James walked towards the entrance, but before they could, a man called out to them.

"Hey there!", the man shouted. Both turned to glance at the person, since they had not noticed him.

Walking towards them, Noah inspected the man's facial features.

The man looked to be in his late forties, he stood around 5ft8 in height, and his frame looked like that of someone who had worked out a lot, though his grey coloured robe hid a lot.

The man had long brown hair that touched his shoulders. While from the short distance, Noah could see that he had black eyes, which when coupled with his round face, and smiling expression, was pleasant to look at.

"Are you looking to sign up for the job?", the man said when he was within a close distance to their figures.

Noah and James couldn't help but glance at each other, with surprise on their faces.

"Are you the employer?, if you are tell us the job description", Noah talked first, he wanted to be sure the person wasn't lying.

Smiling at the question, the man replied, "Yes I am. In the description you were asked to escort a small noble families heir to Crilion for Bozolom". He ended it there.

At that point Noah's doubt was cleared, but his curiosity still remained. "How did you know we were looking for you?", Noah said, as James nodded at the question.

"Look around, do you see anyone. The south wing has been closed for a week now. That was the reason why I as asked to meet up here". He replied.

Then did both of them realize that the man was right, apart from the three of them, no other person was currently present.

"I am Luke from the house of Holon", He said after a few seconds of silence.

With that, they both introduced themselves. "I am James, pleased to meet you", James said with a slight bow.

"I am Noah", Noah stated.

Smiling in return, Luke said, "Please come with me. Let's get a better place to talk".

Nodding their heads, the duo followed him. They left the south wing, and exited the large building, though during that time Luke filled them in on some things.

"You guys are actually the last two that we need to complete the nine", Luke said at one point.

"Oh, it seems we were lucky then", James said trying to hold the conversation.

"There were some others who came but I refused them", Luke said.

Noah and James shot curious glance at him, before Noah's voice eventually rang out, "Why?".

"You'll know very soon", Luke replied without turning back, to look at them.

This put Noah and James on guard, since that was usually what shady business men said to their employees.

After a few more minutes of walking, James and Noah running different scenarios in their mind, about what could happen, they got to a hotel, where Luke brought them to a room.

Inside the room was a table and two chairs, but that wasn't the most striking detail, no.... the figure of a man standing right in front of the window was.

Immediately they got inside, Luke went towards this figure, and performed a deep bow before his voice rang out.

"Young master, I have brought the last two for the job request", Luke announced.

Immediately he said that, the figure turned, as Noah was able to inspect his features.

The man looked just a bit older than Noah, he was around 5ft9 in height, the clothes he wore didn't let Noah see much of his body frame, but from the way he moved he wasn't overweight.

He had grey hair, which he packed in a ponytail, which when coupled with his fair face and blue eyes, were very striking, actually he looked stunning!.

The man seemed to inspect both of them, before his voice rang out a few seconds later.

"Good day gentle men, would you like to hear an interesting story?". He said in a gentle and slow tone.
