Chapter 24 – Hot Spring Lv.1

After steadily attacking and defeating the Grimbrusti, I obtained the items “Golden Fur x1”, “Wild Boar Meat x30”, and a “Sword (unidentified)”.

At this point, I obtain an equipment item for the first time. And it’s unidentified?

“That item needs to be appraised.”

“What should I do, Alfred?”

“Well, you can usually purchase appraisal items from an item shop in the empire or ask an appraiser to do so. Then you will be able to use the item.”

I see.

But there are no convenient shops on this uninhabited island.

“Is there no other way?”

“Appraisal skills can only be used by ‘Appraisers’ or high-level ‘Merchant’.”

Hmm… It looks like the unidentified item won’t be usable for a while. But we obtained plenty of food, so it’s all good. With this much, we can eat for a while. And we learned that there are huge monsters on this uninhabited island.

What’s more, that cave seemed to have a depth to it, so there might be a dungeon after all. While I was thinking that, Skor gave me and Alfred a heal.

“I’ll heal your wounds, just in case.”

Thanks to that, both my physical strength and fatigue have recovered.

Before going home, I mined a lot of stones in the ‘cave’ and I now have close to 200 stones on hand. It’s already getting heavy. Stones are just heavy, so I hope I could increase the weight capacity somehow.

I collected more ‘wood’ and ‘soil’ on the way back. Skor and Alfred also helped me collect raspberries and gather materials.

With the three of us working together, we finished it in a blink of an eye.

The number of items in the inventory has increased considerably, and things were starting to feel more fulfilling. Moreover, there is a “hut” and a “lake” at the base. There is also a campfire, so we can live fairly normally now.

Skor is in a good mood and says he’s going to the sea to bathe before the sun goes down. Thinking that Skor wouldn’t be able to wash off the dirt if she went there, I racked my brain.

No, she doesn’t respond to my voice.

And then Skor finally…!

“Hot spring aaaaahhh……!!!!!!”

With a hop～～～she jumped into the hot spring I made. “Plop” Hot water splashes up. I didn’t expect her to be so happy about it.

“Hey, hey.”

“Hahaha~! It feels so good!! Hot spring is the best!!”

Skor frolicked like a child. I didn’t know she liked hot springs so much. Well, she has been swimming in the sea all the time.

As I stood there watching over Skor, she suddenly becomes quiet.

“Hmm, what’s wrong, Skor?”

“…Um, why am I naked?”

“You didn’t even realize it?! You took off your own clothes and jumped in!”

“…Wa ~u”

Skor’s face turns bright red as she sinks into the hot spring. Don’t worry, I couldn’t see the important part because of the steam.

“Well, I’ll go prepare dinner. Enjoy yourself.”

“…Y-Yes.””
