Chapter 715 Delay

Name:Undying Warlord Author:HideousGrain
Once Dilan was sure that both the Lightning Titan and the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield were on, somewhat, friendly terms he was relieved.

He knew that the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield never fought seriously against him but that was not his problem.

Who was he to care about the reason for his victory against someone else? His pride could endure that because he came out victorious. He was one step closer to his goal and that was worth it all!

Now that he had gotten his first two allies, it was time for him to get his hands on more allies. Dilan wanted to gather the strongest forces as quickly as possible in order to make sure that there wouldn't be any further complications when it came to convincing other races to follow his means.

His credentials were exceptional but it was still better to have someone with even better specs by his side, the more the merrier.

With that in mind, Dilan spends almost 18 months traveling across the Universe over and over again. Meanwhile, the number of powerhouses following him had increased drastically.

Instead of fighting himself, Dilan was glad that he could tell the Lightning Titan and the others to subdue his opponents quickly. It was not that Dilan was too weak, which was also the case, but it was more the fact that he would take way too long to convince his designated target to take a look at the memory shards and follow his group and mission.

They targeted as many suitable candidates as possible, which was why they ended up expanding the list created by the Queen of Immortality and her Images.

Most candidates were fellow Abandoned Children, who had suffered from the attitude and discrimination they had to face due to their parents and the race they had been born. Being Ancients or Primordials was not always easy because the expectations were grand but most Abandoned Children would have rather been born in a weaker race loved by their family and race instead of the horrifying experiences they had to face due to their birth in the wrong race.

Dilan accepted everyone and he promised them some territory in Milarn once everything was over. Of course, he told the Abandoned Children that he would beat the shit out of them if they were to fight each other and cause trouble on Milarn once everything was over.

But that was only obvious and something one would expect from Dilan, who had been given the Mystic Mission <<Guardian of Milarn>>.

The content of the Mystic Mission had been seen by everyone, which included the content about Dilan's obsession to protect his family and the land they lived in. The latter was related to the former, meaning that the land was only important to Dilan as long as his family lived on it.

That being said, nobody would be spared the moment they might cause trouble to Dilan's beloved family and friends.

He would tear everyone apart and die millions of times if that was necessary to take revenge on those who hurt the people he loved.

That was just the type of person Dilan was…a crazy maniac, who was somehow able to retain his sanity when it came to dying over and over again.

After spending nearly two years traveling through the Universe, first alone and now with more than two dozen powerhouses by his side, Dilan was about to return when he checked the Divinity Messenger.

Old Jeff: [The last Chaos Obelisk will require, at least, four months longer than anticipated. There are a few complications that we didn't anticipate. They weren't mentioned in the blueprint, but I can fix them. There is no need to worry!]

Old Jeff's message was enough to make sure that Dilan's eyebrows creased but he trusted the old man enough to believe his words regardless. Everything would be fine, though their plan was postponed by four months.

"It looks like we have a little bit more time. How about we split up and gather a few greater races? I don't know many races, and I still need to increase the Essence within my Essence Crystal. The Great Wise's perfected technique is pretty good but it's not like practicing the Essence Cultivation technique will fill my Essence Crystal in the next four months," Dilan proposed at first before he started to joke a little.

He wanted to ease the tension a little bit because he didn't really like the fact that their plan was postponed by four months. Unfortunately, they couldn't really change anything about it.

With that in mind, it was time to make the best out of it.

The others nodded their head, just for the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield to complain about Dilan's attitude…again.

"If you could advance that quickly, we would have more Gods than ants all over the known Universe!!!" He shouted out loud, while the Lightning Titan's iron-tight grasp reached out for the Demon.

He held him tightly and pulled him away with a smile.

"Just give your best, like always!"

Afterward, the Lightning Titan disappeared with the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield, dragging away the most annoying, notoriously annoying at that…

Unfortunately, he was also one of the strongest Abandoned Children.

Thus, they couldn't beat up the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield, even if they wanted to…except Dilan.

Maybe Dilan would be strong enough to fight against the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield head-on.

Undying against a supper gluttonous power that allowed the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield to become near Undying as long as something living was around him.

Other than that, he was also extremely strong, which made it even easier for him to heal, and harder for others to survive.

"Let's meet up in four months, in Milarn. We will have everything prepared." One of the more serious Abandoned Children said and Dilan nodded his head.

"And remember, the Ancients and Primordials shouldn't find out about it…not until the day we truly start the Mystic Mission!!"
