Chapter 714 Quarreling Siblings

Name:Undying Warlord Author:HideousGrain
It was only a matter of time before the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield calmed down.

Once he was fully healed, the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield lifted his head. He looked toward the Undying with a complicated gaze and sighed deeply.

"So you are the one?" He asked, his voice making it seem as if they were talking about something mysterious that nobody was allowed to know.

"If you mean whether I'm the Undying or not, that should be me, yeah."

"Should I be satisfied with your strength or not?" The Demons of the Ancient Battlefield added. Dilan merely shrugged his shoulders at this remark.

"I don't really care about your satisfaction."

"He sure is feisty though!"

"You can be glad that he went all out on you. He tried to beat the shit out of me with my own technique…I was bored and surrendered, otherwise, I wouldn't be standing here…" The Lightning Titan said all of a sudden, which caused both Dilan and the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield to frown deeply.

"I am pretty sure that you didn't give up because you were bored…" Dilan pointed out but the Lightning Titan didn't pay any attention to the young human.

Unfortunately, it didn't look like the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield was the same. He looked at Dilan for a moment and a crafty smile appeared on his ugly grimace.

"I already noticed that your technique improved. These crimson lightning currents are new, but your little human friend here is better at controlling them than you.

Did a newborn God have to teach you? Hah…that's refreshing!" He provoked, which caused the Lightning Titan to expand in size.

"I don't think that you need this lifeless planet anymore…right?!" The Lightning Titan thundered in response to the Demon's provocation.

He formed a fits from the lightning storm with crimson lightning zapping out from everywhere.

Dilan looked at the situation that unfolded in front of him with a deep frown on his face.

'Why does it feel like they're siblings? Quarreling around as if they're still children.'

He watched the quarreling duo with a small smile and diverted his focus not even for a second. The large Lightning Titan that towered above the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield looked imposing but the Demon didn't seem to think much about the high difference between the two of them.

It looked like they were about to fight against each other when the sparks ignited and the demonic monsters of Gluttony emerged from everywhere but that was when Dilan interrupted.

He threw a memory shard, half the size of his head to the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield without saying much.

"What you will see will tell you everything you need to know!"

After the Lightning Titan heard Dilan, he stepped back and retracted the crimson lightning.

Not only was Dilan the disciple of his Soul Shard but he was also the one who kept his promise with the Soul Shard from within the City of Trials.

He tried to beat the shit out of the Lightning Titan with the perfected Lightning God's Fist technique. Of course, that was far from easy but it was not as if Dilan had a different choice at that time. He had to give his all to defeat the Lightning Titan and his conviction and unbreakable willpower had been more than enough to defeat one of the Old Ones.

That was a great feat and enough to show that Dilan had the potential to achieve more. There was a good reason why he was a Fate Changer and why the Universe's Fate gave him the opportunity to obtain something that couldn't be obtained under normal means.

The timing was almost too perfect because no existence above a certain combat prowess would be able to emerge on Milarn for the next few centuries…there was only one exception.

If the Primordials and Ancients were to accept the conditions of Milarn's sentience and the Primordial Ascension's System, they would be allowed to get close to Milarn.

These conditions would, most likely, end up as restrictions of their strength equivalent to the highest limitation of strength that can be endured by Milarn.

Of course, it was widely known that one could simply travel through space and search for Milarn. It was also possible to reject the restrictions and emerge on Milarn, but nobody wanted to become the number one enemy of the entire known Universe, just because they destroyed a planet…a very important planet!

Even Members of the Ancients and Primordials were unwilling to give up on the benefits provided by a planet awoken through the Primordial Ascension.

They knew what such planets were capable of and that they were treasure troves, even for them, beings born during the Primal Era.

Even now these beings could find treasures from other Universes, much larger Universes that possessed more strength than them, and the planets awoken through the Primordial Ascension were a sure-kill method to summon a bunch of those treasures.

They might need millennials to be summoned but what were a few thousand years in exchange for unparalleled power?

Thus, not even the Ancients and Primordials were willing to destroy Milarn.

If they wanted to come to Milarn, they would have to accept the restrictions that would be put on them.

And that was the opportunity the Abandoned Children needed to take revenge, finally!

When the Demon of the Ancient finished watching the memories that had been sealed within the memory shard, he looked at Dilan.

"Do you have a special ability that allows you to tell what others want to see, hear and feel?" He asked, with a complicated expression on his face.

Dilan was not sure what exactly the Demon meant but he shook his head after a few seconds.

"I only did what the Image of the Queen of Immortality told me to do. She knows quite a lot about you guys and a bunch of other potential candidates for my conquest in Milarn."

"Thinking about it, she might just be interested in the Abandoned Children.
