Chapter 697 Overpowered

Name:Undying Warlord Author:HideousGrain
A huge head lying in front of him, Dilan couldn't help but smile weirdly.

"I am really overpowered…"

Dilan didn't think that it would be so easy to defeat the True Chaos Dragon. Of course, he had been obliterated by the Chaos Beam and his body had been destroyed several times whether it was because of the True Chaos Dragon's tail or because of the means he had to use to increase his strength.

Nonetheless, it was quite obvious that the result was more than worth it. Dilan expected that he would have to fight the True Chaos Dragon for a few days so that he could slowly amass injuries in the Dragon's humongous body.

But that hadn't been necessary, at all!

The True Chaos Dragon's Head lay in front of him and so did his body. The mythical creature didn't even die because Dilan's strength had been too overwhelming. It might be one deciding factor of his victory but the most important was precise that the True Chaos Dragon had killed his opponent, he had obliterated Dilan's body in its entirety.

Yet, confident that Dilan was actually dead and that he couldn't miraculously heal, the True Chaos Dragon had lowered his defense for a quarter of a second.

And that quarter of a second had been enough for Dilan's regenerating blob of a flesh mass had teleported behind the True Chaos Dragon, healed, and unleashed power manyfold higher than the strength he had demonstrated before that.

The True Chaos Dragon had nearly made up for its mistake, only to end up failing miserably as Dilan moved much faster than any Lesser God, let alone Demi God was supposed to move.

His arms and shoulders were obliterated thanks to his attack but the Dragon had been beheaded in exchange. Dilan healed while the True Chaos Dragon remained dead.

"I doubt hat it's common for enemies to resurrect from the dead, let alone so fast. I'm probably the only one in possession of the Undying Origin ability and the True Undying Essence, in this Universe at the very least. The True Chaos Dragon underestimated me because I'm just a Demi God as well, I guess?"

Dilan was trying to find out why the True Chaos Dragon had died so easily in his hands but he didn't want to accept that the reasoning was so simple; The True Chaos Dragon didn't expect Dilan to be the Undying.

It was also possible to give a lengthy answer but the summary was pretty suitable. He was the Undying, which was enough answer for his capabilities. One shouldn't underestimate him!

'Well, the others won't underestimate me…I only have the surprise factor on my side against new enemies, who don't know me, or about me… Once I'm well known my opponents will be more careful...meaning that I will have the most trouble starting from the day I install the Chaos Obelisks…'

Dilan was not sure if he overestimated the surprise factor of his True Undying Essence but he was pretty sure that it was as exceptional as he presumed it to be. Even if it was not that extraordinary, it was evidently enough of a surprise to kill the True Chaos Dragon much easier than they could have ever expected.

That was more than enough for Dilan to know that he could make use of his True Undying Essence more often if it was necessary.

'There is no need to fight fair and square against powerful True Gods either…if I can take them by surprise and end their life that was, it would be the best right now, wouldn't it?'

Dilan understood that his True Undying Essence was something extremely rare. However, he understood only now just how valuable it actually was.

Nobody would glance at an opponent who clearly died right in front of them. It made only sense that a Demi God whose entire body was turned into atoms couldn't suddenly be alive again.

As a Dragon, it was also impossible to trick the eyes of the mythical creature. The True Chaos Dragon couldn't be tricked, so he knew that Dilan had died. There was nothing left of Dilan except his Essence Crystal.

Only when Dilan's Divine Essence Crystal disappeared was the True Chaos Dragon alarmed, but he had reacted too slowly, which was something that should have been near-impossible.

However, in exchange for possession of such a ginormous body, the True Chaos Dragon couldn't move around as agile as others despite being in possession of tremendously high agility.

It was only obvious, but a humongous body was not always advantageous. Rory had noticed that already and Dilan had made use of Rory's experiences to make sure that there wouldn't be a way of escape for the True Chaos Dragon.

Storing the body of the True Chaos Dragon after absorbing his Chaos Essence Crystal and allowing the five Chaos Orbs to absorb the released Chaos, Dilan took a short break.

He didn't actually need a break but there were a few things he had to think about.

The questions that reverberated through his mind bothered im quite a bit, but there was also a perfect answer for everything.

'I might not be able to die anymore but the others are still not Undying. They will have to protect the Chaos Obelisks while I will take a bath in the center of Milarn… What does it matter whether I'm Undying or not if I don't abuse my powers…It's not my fault if my opponents don't expect me to arise from the dead. They should pay more attention to their opponent and surrounding.

There is a proper reason why this specific Demi God was not afraid of hunting an existence that is on par with True Gods!

The True Chaos Dragon, who had lived tens of not hundreds of thousands of years had become rusty. It ended up trusting its rusted senses too much and the powers that transcended the realms of ordinary Gods could attain.

Dilan had been one of many challengers, but he was the weirdest and the most exotic.

His Power ended up overwhelming what ought to be possible.

Thus, Dilan won and he was not able to fill the Chaos Orbs without any hindrance in the Chaos Realm.

After all, he could defeat everything that dared to obstruct his path in the Chaos Realm!
