Chapter 691 Use Of Connections

Name:Undying Warlord Author:HideousGrain
'If you're good enough in their eyes, they might risk it and support you…'

Reminded about that, Dilan could only sigh deeply. He shook his head and more aside the holographic list of suitable allies.

'That's very interesting…am I supposed to become the head of a revolution, or what?' He thought and he felt the pressure weighing down on him.

However, it was not a burdening pressure but more like something that made him more excited, something that allowed Dilan to feel like he could do everything.

He knew that it would be bothersome to fight by himself, especially when it came to the Mystic Mission where he was basically forced to ask for help, but that was not everything.

Dilan was known for favoring going out alone and working by himself. Being by himself made things easier because there wouldn't be anyone who dared to say something against the plan he had in mind.

At the same time, Dilan would have to pay attention to his comrades if someone were to come with him. It was not a problem if he died a few times, but the same couldn't be said about his friends and family.

A single death was more than enough to remove them from the Universe's existence, forever!

Dilan didn't like that thought so he went out by himself. The places he went usually were extremely dangerous. This included the mission he had been given for the next few months as well.

Rather than taking care of the listed races and suitable allies, Dilan wanted to take care of other things first.

He was not strong enough to fight Ancient True Gods, either way.

For him, it was currently one step at a time rather than striding forward at a fast pace.

"Are you sure that terrorizing them will help?" Yvonne asked at this moment but Dilan just smiled.

"Probably? And don't call it terrorizing….I will just introduce myself with my fists and tell them that I will become powerful in no time," Dilan retorted with a grim smile on his face.

"But why would you even consider showing the memories of what you've gone through in the City of Trials or what you've heard from the Oracle? That's your privacy and it's not like everyone will believe you just because you show them the memories…" Kathrine added, feeling uncertain about Dilan's intentions.

He said that he would beat up a bunch of Lesser Gods in Camsun, then show them certain fragmented memories, including what he felt when Hoert, the Universe Devourer, appeared behind Nial's darkness gate and when he saw the prophecy for the first time.

There were also a few other fragmented memories he was willing to show but they were mostly to make sure that he would get some sympathy from other races who had been subdued and oppressed by the powers of the stronger races.

Nonetheless, Kathrine and a bunch of other Ascenders were pretty uncertain about the efficiency of Dilan's attempts. It might even result negatively and make things more complicated.

"If things go south, I will just kill them, but I'm pretty sure that everything will be fine. It's not like I will show them my face or anything like that, either way!" Dilan said unconcerned.

There was no reason for him to be concerned right now because everything was bound to work out. That was something he was sure of!

"In that case, you can go to the Realm of Chaos once you're done. Fill the five Chaos Orbs and only return when you're done!" Rory declared to her master.

Dilan squinted his eyes, which was enough for Rory, in her human form, to clear her throat and avoid his glare.

"...I mean…you cannot die, so you should take care of the Chaos Realm…Chaos Essence Crystals are more beneficial for someone like you as well. We would just get hurt after absorbing a certain amount of Chaos. You can just devour, or drain it…meanwhile, we will take care of the remaining resources, somehow…"

Rory sounded less confident than before but that was mostly owed to Dilan's glare. She cleared her throat once again and turned her entire body in the opposite direction of Dilan.

He looked at this in amusement and nodded his head.

pαпdα`noνɐ1`сoМ "I can fill the Chaos Orbs but that will probably take a while. Will you guys be able to procure the remaining materials, or will I be needed elsewhere once the Chaos Orbs are filled?" Dilan asked.

At first, he wanted to leave to beat up a bunch of Lesser Gods right of the bat, but it wouldn't hurt to listen to Rory's plan.

"We won't have any problems," Ariel Silvertale suddenly intervened, a confident smile on her face. "We, the Essence Angels, have quite a few connections to various realms. There are many influential races in my contacts and they should know a few merchants who're in possession of the materials we're looking for. That is if they don't have the materials in their warehouse already.

The only issue will probably be the payment. We can trade materials with some land on Camsun but it's not like we can promise them that the land will be safe and sound."

Dilan had forgotten that the Essence Angels were a race with a long history. It was obvious that they had allies and business partners before the Primordial Ascension.

Their first True Goddess might have been born not too long ago but that didn't mean the Essence Angel's connections could be underestimated.

"Furthermore, we have Old Jeff and our young maniac blacksmith by our side. They have already finished the first few weapons and pieces of armor with the core of the burning star, which you brought! The only problem will probably be the materials we cannot procure by ourselves. But paying other races should work out as long as we work hard enough.

You will be having fun fighting some Lesser Gods and collecting Chaos in the Chaos Realm for quite a while, either way. And it's not like we've completed the Mystic Mission then. Knowing where to place the Chaos Obelisks and gathering all materials to construct the Chaos Obelisks is just the first step toward completion….the easiest step…"
