Chapter 675 Understanding

Name:Undying Warlord Author:HideousGrain
Dilan spends some time explaining everything that happened in the Prison Gate. He also told them that he knew about the small possibility of his Divine Essence Crystal mutating. The mutation of an Essence crystal was usually random and there were rarely entities with a mutated high-ranked Essence Crystal.

The information on Mutated Essence Crystals was not much, and it was even less for Divine Essence Crystals. As for the type of mutation, there were often elemental affinity mutation or new abilities that were created when an Essence Crystal mutated.

Unfortunately, the creation of a flame such as the Flame of the Beginning was not even something Dilan knew much about…and he read lots of books in the Library of the Great Wise.

He had been lucky to survive if one could consider it luck for someone Undying to survive a certain predicament. Dilan died more often enough to understand that he was not supposed to be alive anymore.

But it was great that he didn't really care about the things he was supposed to do, or what ought to be a certain way.

It didn't really matter to him!

Once he was done explaining everything about the Flame of the Beginning, Dilan shared that he was now a Demi God and that the Essence of the Sun he devoured was enough to fill his Essence Crystal to a fifth.

Even the subordinates of Ariel Silvertale couldn't help but stare at him in shock. If they weren't professionals, some of them would have called him out for being a liar. In fact, if not for the powerful flames he had manifested, a handful of Ariel Silvertale's subordinates would have called out Dilan for lying, no matter how professional they were.

The things Dilan did were simply too miraculous even if written down in a fairytale. It was hard to believe that he was telling the truth and that an existence such as Dilan was just a human and not a member of a Primordial race.

The Essence Angels eyed their future Queen and then Dilan. Their stares were always moving between the two and the Essence Angels began to wonder what was going on there…

However, it was not for them to intervene in anything that involved their future Queen. They would follow her commands and do anything, even die, if that was required for the bigger picture, the better good of their race.

"I heard that you have problems with the other Alliances. Did they initiate the attack, or was it the Angel's Haven?" Dilan asked nonchalantly, resulting in some Essence Archangels flinching and subconsciously grasping the hilts of their weapons.

Dilan just smiled at them before he ignored their existence once again.

"Ah, and I was interested in your races' past relationships with the races that infiltrated Camsun. If you have any records about them, it would be very helpful." He added, his voice sounding as if he commanded a subordinate rather than speaking in an obedient tone toward the future Queen of the Essence Angels.

None of the Essence Angels could endure it any longer. No matter what Ariel said, they couldn't accept that someone was speaking down to their future Queen.

"How dar–.." One of the Essence Archangels, the strongest Demi God of the Angel's Haven Alliance shouted out before he was interrupted by Ariel.

"Stay put and sheath your weapon!" She ordered, her voice ice-cold. Ariel didn't even take a glance back and she ignored the existence of the subordinates behind her once again as her attention moved back to Dilan, who had been about to test the Sun Power at a living target.

"Why do you need the information?"

'Am I speaking too informal? Well, I don't really care…'

He didn't care and neither did Ariel care, so it didn't matter.

"I didn't really think it through yet, but I thought that it was about time for me to hasten up my progress…don't look at me like that, I'm serious…either way, I want to keep up with my fast improvements and solve a few other problems at the same time.

Thus, I want to kill a few Lesser Gods, preferably only Lesser Gods, who are hard to deal with. That means, scumbags, traitors, and those whom you cannot even talk to because they're idiots…" Dilan said, meaning everything except the last point was totally serious.

It was not easy to travel around Camsun and do whatever he wanted. There were too many Lesser Gods, powerful monsters, and possibly even True Gods. It would be a hassle to fight every single opponent just because he entered their territory because he knew that would happen in the future.

Thus, Dilan had a few plans up his sleeve, including that he wanted to kill all 'evil' Lesser Gods while giving a helping hand and the opportunity to form an alliance with 'better' Lesser Gods.

They needed as much help as possible in the future. It was only obvious that Dilan would have to clean up the trash to make some space for him and others to walk down the path toward godhood.

He wasn't strong enough to protect the entire Universe because he couldn't split his body…but who said that he was alone? Dilan could kill evil Lesser Gods who obstructed the growth of good Lesser Gods, whom Dilan would force to get stronger.

It would be fine if he would be considered a Tyrant as long as everyone would become stronger, hopefully, strong enough to protect the Universe or at least Milarn…

Ariel saw the conviction in his eyes and she nodded his head. She understood Dilan's personality to a certain extent and could tell what he was planning.

Other than her worry about Dilan's well-being, and the fights against at the borders of her territory, she had also been worried about the prophecy.

Dilan had told her about it when she asked for nothing but the truth, no matter how ugly it would be.

The truth was extremely ugly, but Ariel Silvertale was glad that she had found out about it.

That way, she found an even better goal to become stronger…to make sure that she and her race could survive in the Universe that was prophesied to get devoured.

…and maybe Dilan…
