Chapter 493 Tyrant's Princess

Name:Undying Warlord Author:HideousGrain
'Why do I feel as if he is smiling at me?' Marie thought while looking at the masked man. The hair all over her body was now standing up on its end and she felt distinct danger radiating from the man, who was the focal attention point.

However, the most confusing thing was that the masked man's full attention was on her.

All of a sudden, Marie could only see the afterimages of the masked man pulling the Frosty woman closer to him before both seemed to disappear.

Dilan had thought a lot about the best plan to leave the settlement with his sister without the need to annihilate everyone. It was more than possible for him to obliterate the settlement but resorting to murder in every situation wouldn't actually help him out.

He shot forward and stopped next to Marie, whom he pulled closer to himself as well.

"I will break your confidence!" Dilan roared out loud, his voice amplified with mana for everyone to hear before he turned quiet as he transmitted a few words into Marie's head, [Hold tight, or you will fall from the sky, Tyrant's Princess!]

At first, Marie tried to push Dilan away from her. However, upon hearing the words that resounded in her head, she froze for a few seconds.

She didn't even realize how familiar the voice of the presumed psychopath sounded and it was only when she heard the specific nickname she had given herself that Marie allowed the masked man to grasp her tightly and to pull her close to himself.

Warmth filled her body a moment later and mana engulfed her body just a moment before the masked man dashed forward.

With a single dash, and [Gravity Domain] activated, Dilan was able to cross a distance of several kilometers in no time.

It took him a single push to leave the settlement and only five seconds to reach a distance of more than ten kilometers.

After he reached the wanted distance, Dilan jumped high in the air, using the zero gravity that was weighing on him, the Ice Demoness and Marie.

'Rory, come over and pick us up!' He ordered in his mind while slowing down the speed with which he accelerated in the air using Green Magic.

Marie was not trying to free herself from his grasp and she was oddly obedient but she was shivering in fright. When she looked down at the ground her eyes widened in terror and Dilan had to pull her closer to his chest.

Because he was masked, he was not sure if the effect of his action would be as he desired. But it was not like they were in a situation to allow himself to unveil his identity. He knew his sister and feared that Marie would panic even more if he were to expose his identity right now while levitating several thousand meters above the surface.

Fortunately, Marie seemed to calm down a lot when he pulled her closer. This made it much easier, especially when Rory emerged in front of them.

The Red Dragon appeared just below them and Dilan deactivated the Gravity Domain on them. They landed on Rory's back, which caused the Ice Demoness to shiver.

She was on the back of her nemesis, a Dragon…and not an ordinary one, but a Red Dragon!

Dilan looked at the tensed-up Ice Demoness for a moment before he diverted his attention with a smirk.

He retrieved a mantle from his storage ring which he put around his sister before he summoned an Intermediate Fire Spirit. The Fire Spirit was also used to further warm his shivering sister.

Marie was shivering and her eyes seemed like they would fall out of their sockets as she looked at the humongous head of the Red Dragon, who looked directly at her.

"D…Dragon…" She blurted out and slumped to the ground.

Marie nearly fell over, but it was Dilan's quick reflexes that stopped her fall and prevented a fatal injury or even death when he had just met her.

"Yes, that's a Dragon. Her name is Rory, and she will listen to you if you want something from her," Dilan spoke in a gentle tone while fondly patting Rory's scales.

She was still a little bit injured but Rory was tough and doing her best to please Dilan.

Thus, some flames burst out of her nostrils when she exhaled. It was almost as if she was proud of what Dilan had just said.

"Hmm?" Marie's expression changed once again as she heard Dilan's words. She looked at the masked man in confusion. The man, who had just kidnapped her was somehow talking to her softly…almost as if he had love and affection in his voice…

That was weird.

"You feel comfortable around me because I feel familiar but you still don't know who I am, don't you, Tyrant's Princess?" Dilan teased with a smile when he saw Marie blush faintly.

It was true, Marie felt some sort of familiarity with the masked man, whether it was his current behavior or his voice, but she couldn't quite put a finger on it.

She racked her brains and tried to think who this stranger might be. And, when she thought about the nickname, which only two people around her were supposed to know, Marie's eyes turned moist and her lips began to tremble.

Dilan's smile widened when he saw this and he nodded his head in satisfaction.

"Took you long enough to remember me, sis!" He exclaimed while removing the golden oni mask from his face.

He moved his free hand and was about to give his sister a peace sign when he saw her jumping up from Rory's back. Marie's shaky legs moved quickly toward Dilan, who looked at his will strong sister in shock.

Big fat tears trickled down her cheeks as she threw herself on Dilan, who barely caught his sister in time, and took her in an embrace.

"We thought you were dead!!" Marie bawled out like a small child. She started to cry bitterly and clung onto Dilan like a leech. Marie intended to never release her little brother from her grasp and Dilan couldn't help himself but smile.

"I am more than just alive as you can see!" Dilan laughed, gently caressing his sister's shaking back. She was crying her heart out, which left Dilan far more astonished than he showed.

'Since when is Marie so warm-hearted?' He was confused because he could remember Marie more as a reserved person, who didn't really like people invading her personal space. She had never really hugged Dilan and neither had she embraced Lara. Thus, Dilan felt like he had to savor this hug…especially since he felt like he needed this comfort as well.

He and his sisters had undergone so much pain and suffering before they had been separated. Dilan was not sure what happened to his sisters afterward, but he could tell that Marie must have suffered a lot in the last few years.

Fortunately, now was the time to change their present and future!

Dilan wouldn't allow anyone to bully or mistreat his sisters ever again, that was something he would stand for, even if it would be necessary for him to sacrifice himself to achieve this!

"You never messaged us… There was not even the slightest clue about your existence…You…are alive!!" Marie screamed with a stifling voice while Dilan continued to caress her back in an attempt to calm herself down.

"Silly girl, you told me to vanish…"
