Chapter 490 Open Invasion

Name:Undying Warlord Author:HideousGrain
-36 hours later-

"Is that it?" Dilan asked, looking down from an altitude of several thousand meters.

It was freezing cold around him but he was neither shivering nor feeling the low temperature around him.

His entire focus was on the tiny image of the huge settlement where his oldest sister was last sighted.

The distance between the settlement and the region where Rory and his father had fought was several thousand kilometers. There was no need for Dilan to be wary of his father's sudden appearance.

Knowing that, he was able to keep his mind focused on the most important thing; his sister!

[Are you sure that you will just charge inside?] Rory asked, feeling a bit uncomfortable with the idea of Dilan revealing himself without a second of reconsideration.

Even if a single citizen of the settlement below them were to survive, his identity would be revealed. It was not unlikely that Arnes Cier was still connected to the husband of his oldest daughter. Thus, the moment his son-in-law's settlement and partners had been eradicated he would take a good look to figure out what had happened.

Dilan was strong and it wouldn't take Arnes Cier long to figure out that his only son was still alive and that he had become strong enough to become an actual threat.

When Arnes Cier would learn of this, he would start hunting Dilan, which was exactly what Rory wanted to prevent.

"Of course, I'm sure. I will just use this, and everything will be perfectly fine!" Dilan declared while retrieving a golden Oni mask from his storage ring.

He summoned the whole Hyel Destructo Armor Set, covered his face with the golden Oni-mask and unsheathed both the Cursed Dagger and the Blessed Blade before he stepped closer to the edge of the Red Dragon's wing.

Dilan took a deep breath, he looked down in an attempt to clearly see where his sister was located but he couldn't really find her.

"Well, whatever…" He mumbled and turned his head to Rory, whom he smiled at.

"See you soon. Have fun watching or something like that!" Dilan exclaimed before he jumped down from Rory's back.

He was falling from an altitude of several thousand meters, but not a shred of fear could be seen in his eyes.

On the contrary, Dilan felt complex emotions surfacing within him. He wanted to save his sister by all means and that was his highest priority before anything else. However, there was also excitement, uncontrollable rage, and anger that were unleashed from the depths of his conscience.

Dilan could feel every single thing; the adrenaline that pumped through his veins, the excitement that swept through his mind, and the negative emotions that overwhelmed him.

However, instead of allowing the emotions to overwhelm his rationality, he chose to make use of them.

Using the expertise he had garnered with Berserk Mana in the past, Dilan used his overflowing adrenaline and emotions to alter his Mana. It was getting more violent and harder to control.

This got only worse when Dilan's killing intent and bloodlust seeped inside the alteration process of his Mana and acted as a catalyst to accelerate it. The potency of his mana increased by leaps and bound and Dilan used it without a second thought.

He temporarily summoned two Intermediate Wind Spirits to control the winds around him. When he used the wind currents around him, they accelerated his falling speed drastically.

A heavy force pushed in his back but Dilan accepted that regardless as he made use of his own comprehension of Green Magic to further control the winds around him. He was falling at a rapid pace and it was only a matter of seconds before he would smash into the ground.

Until now, nobody had discovered Dilan. Rory had been flying on an altitude where the mana radar could hardly detect them, but that was only obvious. After all, it was currently impossible to bring the newest technology to Milarn. The planet had yet to accept and the arrival of the newest technology, forcing most races to use the old technology, which they would have scrapped if not for the available alternative.

But all of this was playing straight into Dilan's cards, so he couldn't be bothered less by it!

[Taunt]!

Thus he activated taunt when he broke through the range where the settlement's radars would sense him, and made sure that everyone's focus would automatically switch to him.

He de-summoned the Intermediate Wind Spirits and summoned one Intermediate Lightning Spirit and one Intermediate Fire Spirit. Bu using their powers with the help of the Ring of Infinite Elements constitutions, Dilan's entire body ended up being engulfed in lightning and blazing flames.

Everyone's attention was forcefully pulled toward him and everyone Dilan had targeted with the Taunt of the Artifact of Traction began to move toward the place Dilan was bound to land.

However, even before they could reach that area, Dilan disappeared.

It was merely a fraction of a second later that an explosion occurred in the center of the settlement, bringing death and destruction.

Dilan had used one charge of Instant Teleportation to close the distance from the ground, where he crashed into without a buffer.

He didn't even think of slowing down his falling speed, let alone using [Gravity Domain] to negate the gravitational force that weighed down on him.

Dilan smashed into the ground with a terrific force and the impact with which he smashed created a huge crater that spread in a range of more than fifteen meters.

Everyone in his proximity ended up being either shell-shocked, injured, or even dead.

But that was not something Dilan was worried about as he got up from the ground without a single sustained injury.

Even if he hadn't activated an additional ability right now, Dilan's Health easily crossed 1000 Units. His Health was even higher than 1100 Units, which was more than enough to rival the Health stat of many Tier-4 existences.

Thus, a fall from a few thousand meters was not something he could be bothered about. He was ready to make a big entrance, and to show off his power to make sure that everyone understood his intention… that he was not here for peace, and he was ready to do everything necessary to get his hands on whatever he demanded.

"Hand over your beauties, or die at my hands, you motherfuckers!!" He shouted at the top of his lungs while using mana to amplify his vocal cords. At the same time, Dilan used Green Magic to make sure that his voice traveled even further.

His mana erupted from the depths of his body and the earth all around him began to tremble wildly. Several buildings in his proximity began to shake violently and they collapsed, burying more than a hundred humans and beings of a foreign race along with him.

Turning his head, Dilan's focus darted to the strongest beings that entered his range of perception. He knew where the strongest Ascenders were located and what they were currently doing.

This gave him even more reason to wreak as much havoc at his entrance spectacle as possible.

He used 200 Units of his Reinforced Berserk Mana to activate the Inferno of Disintegration, stretched out his flat hand where the Ring of Inferno began to shine brightly before he unleashed his attack, showing no mercy.

"This is the first and last warning. Try something funny, and your heads will roll on the ground!"
