Chapter 390 Ancient 1st Circle

Name:Undying Warlord Author:HideousGrain
Six hours passed in the blink of an eye and Dilan had already scouted the Ocean around the abandoned island.

Using Power Appraisal, he was currently even able to see Tier-4 monsters and gauge their strength. This was very advantageous and it allowed Dilan to make numerous plans that revolved mostly around how to procure most Essence Points while simultaneously protecting the Miraculous Flower of Opportunity.

He was in dire need of lots of Essence Points, which was quite frustrating. However, after the Artifact of Traction had undergone a partial fusion with his Origin ability, Dilan was pretty sure that nobody would dare to obstruct him anymore.

-First Seal removed!-]

Quite a few changes had occurred to his Origin ability and Dilan took some time to understand few facts.

In the end, he liked the changes a lot, especially the fact that it was possible for him to wield Xealtron without any issue.

Thanks to the changes of his Origin ability, he regenerated a lot more lifeforce than the Cursed Dagger could drain from him.

Dilan even reconsidered using [Blood Sacrifice] to increase Xealtron’s sealed power.

However, his regeneration was not yet strong enough to regenerate 20 Health units in a single minute.

That was why he ignored this idea until the time he was really required to improve his stats further.

For now, this was not necessary and Dilan spent some of the remaining time until night to make sure that he was accustomed to the extremely high stats he possessed right now.

If he was not able to fight for several hours with the high stats he possessed, it would become quite difficult for him to get his act together when he started to use the various abilities he gained from all the treasures he procured.

In total, he had purchased nine new treasures and each of them had an ability bound to it.

Using his abilities precisely without wasting better opportunities was important and Dilan didn’t want to end up doing something extremely idiotic.

Thus, he ended up testing all the enhanced versions of the abilities and his three accessories to figure out how strong they were in proportion to the amount of mana he utilized.

Time passed quickly and Dilan’s mana was fully replenished when he noticed that the first batch of monsters was slowly heading towards the beach.

He took a deep breath to prepare himself mentally by activating [Thunder Step] with one unit of Mana.

This enhanced his agility by 30% for 90 Seconds. Using more mana to increase his Agility further was not necessary right now, especially since his overall Agility had improved to reach close to 600 Units.

Not a single Tier-3 existence could rival his Agility and the number of Tier-4 monsters was extremely small as well.

In the first few minutes after the third Night invasion had started, only three Tier-4 monsters had appeared, and all of them were as strong as the first Sea Serpent Dilan had fought.

Their stats were not overwhelming and they could be killed easily by unleashing the seal on Xealtron. And that was what Dilan did without hesitation.

He sacrificed 100 Units of health to activate [Blood Sacrifice], which increased the Cursed Dagger’s stat augmentation by 150 Units for both Agility and Strength.

And through this, he didn’t even need to use one of his abilities to easily cross 700 Units for both his Strength and Agility!

However, instead of rushing mindlessly in the direction of the Sea Serpents, he used a total of 100 Mana units to use [Demon Summoning].

The moment he activated the ability of the Blood Eclipse Necklace, a ginormous black gate emerged in front of Dilan.

Black miasma oozed out of the gate that burst open just a moment later.

“Who dared to interrupt me in my sleep?!?” A deep rumbling voice reverberated through the surrounding, and only Dilan was able to hear everything.

He had no idea what language the Demon was speaking but he could understand it. In the end, it didn’t really matter because it was not important why he could understand someone if a bit of violence spoke more than a thousand words.

Dilan stretched his body and he shot forward the moment the grotesque head of the huge Demon appeared in front of him.

He was ready to pierce Xealtron right in the head of the Demon and tightly clutched his horn with one arm.

“I don’t care about controlling you, but if you don’t kill all the Tier-2 and Tier-3 monsters around you, I will end you and rip out your heart!” Dilan declared coldly, certain that the Gold Tier-3 Demon he had summoned would understand.

The Demon knew that he had been summoned by a Tier-1 existence. That was why it had been ready to revolt against the Tier-1 existence.

However, what it had never expected to happen was that it would almost meet its death even before it had received the chance to fully emerge from the Demon Gate.

“O-Okay…” The Demon could barely say before Dilan used the Demon’s head as a stepping stone to shoot closer in the direction of the abandoned island.

With his Agility, it was no problem for him to run faster than the three Tier-4 monsters that had appeared on the abandoned island.

One was a King crab, another one was another Sea Serpent and the third Tier-4 existence was a Crocodile.

Dilan had no idea why there were so many Sea Serpents but they were the easiest targets to kill amongst the three Tier-4 existences his Power Appraisal detected.

While he threw only a single glance backward to figure out whether the Demon obeyed his orders or not, Dilan never halted in his tracks.

“I knew that it would be a waste of time to use mana to control Demons if you can just use brute force!” He mumbled, smiling when his Power Appraisal had finished evaluating the power of the Gold Tier-3 Demon.

‘Not bad… its stats should be around 450 units on average. With the use of its innate strength and abilities, not a single Tier-3 existence will trouble it!’ Dilan thought as he appeared in front of the Sea Serpent.

It was the easiest to kill but it was also faster than the other two Tier-4 existences.

This was more than enough for him to choose it as his first kill target.

Dilan didn’t intend to show any mercy, which was also why he used [Short-distance traveling] the moment he entered the close distance of the Sea Serpent.

Instead of allowing the Sea Serpent to react, Dilan aimed to kill it with a single blow. He appeared in front of the Sea Serpent’s humongous eye and pierced Xealtron through it.

The Sea Serpent was just about to scream out in pain when Dilan used 50 Mana to activate [Mana Slash].

The stronger the weapon Mana Slash was used with, the higher was the lethal power of the attack. Thus 50 Units of Mana were definitely more than enough to stab and penetrate through the inner parts of the Sea Serpent’s eye and to sink deeper, traveling all the way into its brain, killing the Sea Serpent in an instant.

In fact, Dilan just realized that 25 Mana units would have probably been enough to kill the Sea Serpent because he had already entered its body by piercing through its eye.

“Whatever…” Dilan mumbled after a second when the Sea Serpent’s lifeless body landed on the ground. He took a deep breath and stored its body in his storage ring before the real deal would start.

‘Am I really going to do this?’ He wondered, just to shake his head after a moment.

‘I have to do this to procure enough Essence Points!’ He told himself with determination gleaming in his eyes.

Even if it would take a toll on his poor body, Dilan was ready to do it.

He was ready to go all in!
