Chapter 202 202: The 2nd Wave II

Everyone here had seen the timer, so it had been a mad scramble to loot the bodies of the prisms and any other equipment they could rustle From the Banelings. Cole shook his head as he heard the sound of Neral's engines drawing closer, with the Cyber dog rapidly approaching from the distance.

They were almost out of time, but they were all mostly fresh with Cole still having at least 65% of his total energy pool still available to him, and he has not even dipped into his negative energy pool yet.

He turned to Cassandra and nodded to her. The time in the third floor runs a lot faster than any other current floor,. So in the short time that he has been gone there definitely would have achieved quite a few things. He needed to know what was up, as soon as he was done with this floor, he would take an extended one week real world vacation to see what he can build up. Level 5 would make a connection between both realities and Cole needed to make sure he had a sturdy enough foundation for that. He also wanted to see if it would be physically possible to travel between both realities by using dungeons as a waypoint as Bob the innkeeper had told him back on the second floor.

"Well construction has been getting on quite nicely…. Well not construction per say. Most of the arable lands are been cleared and leveled in preparation for when you're ready to plant. Razor has been able to purchase a significant amount of seeds, focusing mainly on fruit and berry seeds. But different variations of wheat, barely, hops, rice and that palm tree you told us about….. I mean what in the hell is palm wine anyways?" Cassandra asked interrupting her report as Cole answered back with a raised eyebrow and an annoyed look on his face.

"Ancient Nigerian local alcohol…. It's tapped directly from the trees, sweet as hell and can do something funky to you, when you're in the mood for the most natural form of alcohol found. Now get on with it, we're almost out of time." Cole said to her as Neral came to a stop besides them, but Cole raised a palm to stop the cyber dog from talking, he had to deal with them one thing at a time.

"Well we're not making money…. Yet, but we've gathered a significant amount of resources, I dare say we have the largest deposit in the Glade, even much more than the Glade itself. Problem with all of these is that all we can do is keep gathering them, since you're not around we don't know what to do with them, luckily for us, Farida has made sure to enforce the tax that you have asked that they pay.

We have three new council members, two of which are some how Raven's people. How he was able to get his own people in is still a mystery, but Thunder-Jack and Farida was to be under your banner. Since you said you wanted to recruit I approached them, and while Farida might have hated your guts-"

"Don't lie to him Cass I still hate his fucking guts." Farida said from her spot a little ways from them, causing Cole to chuckle as Cassandra kept speaking.

"We're stronger together, and much more than that we're stronger if we're with you. We along with Thunder-Jack came to a collective decision that perhaps it would be best to change to your race. You're broken as hell, and usually there's limited spots for extremely powerful races like yours. And since you're the first, it will give you a higher degree of control over us, as we will be not just a guild of like minded people but of the same race.

You have power and influence in the real world, popularity that grows by the day. And from the 5 million people who all signed up for this event and now know the shit show that's heading our way, you seem to be the only person who has a fucking idea what he is doing. So we figured it would be best to tie ourselves to you now, sink or swim we'll help you build something concrete to withstand the storm of our reality getting swallowed up.

But moving on, Thunder-Jack sat back to offer security and deterrence to Raven and his cronies. Once you're back he will move on to the next floor in order to grow his strength. We've also been able to go past the boundary, there's a stretch of land 5 kilometers long at least that separates us from the next Glade. We made contact but they did not seem willing to do business soon enough the third floor is going to be having territory wars.

However our Glade has grown exponentially. You're not the only person with claimed land on other floors, heck in fact I'd ask you to actively go around doing that. Buy lands and buildings as that would expand your territory, and right now you have a lot of land, but you can never have too much land. Overall I'd say we need a business savvy person to overlook a lot of this shit,. It at the moment we're off to a good start."

Cole nodded his head, this was as good as he could possibly get. As for getting someone to run his businesses, he already had someone in mind, and he had a crazy idea to go with it too. Cole had seen and experienced first hand what his grandparents had built from their cursed alliance. Unity was required and while he might have lost his faith in the word family, he knew for a fact that there was nothing more powerful than the bond shared between blood and loved ones, you should just ask the Shelbys and Michaelsons. Some of history's most powerful and united fictions families. They fought, but they were loyal always to each other, even to the detriment of their own happiness.

"Alright Neral…. What do you have for me."
