Chapter 150 150: Elsewhere V

What was it with really crazy people asking him to join them recently, for One Cole did not think he was that valuable and two did he look like they had crazy tattooed on his forehead, with things like these he really did not want to have anything to do with it. He wanted to make money to stake out a claim for himself in this new world that was coming and he wanted to be strong, all so very strong. He was a man acting on his basest instinct, led by his own selfishness and greed and the need to feel safe. Cole would never deny that, it was who he is and that was his motivation, deluding himself into thinking he had some sort of noble cause of goal would be just stupid, there was no need for it.

"I really just have to say no, if not for anything but for the fact that if I was in your shoes, I would never have trusted anyone else to deal with something like this for me, or heck I probably wouldn't be stupid enough to mess with things I don't understand in the name of power. My path is as straightforward as it gets, but I have deals to play, schemes to carry out, but no suicidal thoughts in doing the things that could and would end up getting me on some entity's kill list, and having someone as dangerous as I am being sent after me. Besides I want our universe as intact as possible for my own goals, if something has to break, then it has to be necessary to my survival and success, no matter what it is.

Your way only leads to ruin, pain and death and worst of all, it would be the blood of innocents. Now I don't care much, you can't make omelets without breaking an few eggs, but I have made my peace with the kind of life I want to live, I've become my own demon and that's okay. But in the end I do not kill or start a war indiscriminately, which is what your space man ass wants to do. And as far as Cole Night is concerned Vasilios…. War is bad for business." Cole said to him then placed his palm on his lap and leaned back against the chair he was sitting on.

"So what now…. World Breaker?" Vasilios asked as he too released back on his chair, but make no mistake neither men were disillusioned about their current situation. They both knew that the time for talk was over.

"Well I can give you a head start little demon, as you are currently you're incapable of doing anything to me. And while I don't really know how your transfer to the soul dimension works, especially seeing as you're coming from the real world and are in your Event avatar, I can and will still kill you before you can even so much as breathe, doesn't matter if you have 60 of the top 300 Aspirants with you…. Which is fucking insane! I wonder how you were able to gather so many of them under your wing 9r how you somehow got your people to win that lottery from the same place with how much people there are in the cosmos."

 "....."

"Forgive me, I'm rambling as, I was saying you can have a head start and try to see if you can run from me." But there was response, Cole moved forwards and touched Vasilios in the shoulder and his form broke down and vanished into the wind. Cole chuckled, he had been played, and he had been played hard. He got up and went to the door that led onto the balcony and kicked it open, coming back out into the hangar (thankfully) and right into a spray of bullets that were most definitely system enhanced.

He honestly should have seen it coming, he had let his guard down for just a bit and had not really paid attention to his surroundings, and in return he got his body pumped full of bullets as he fell backwards, wincing in pain as his healing kicked in overdrive, drawing on his energy as bullets popped out of his eye socket and body. The shooting had paused, but just to let them know that he was still alive and did not ready consider them a threat Cole cried out.

"Owwww! That was so fucking….." his voice vanished along with his body as the Aspirants looked on in shock, then moved closer hoping to clarify that he was dead. The thing is, these set of aspirants have not really been in touch with society and the stories that were trending, especially about the Titan Rising Online event, but ultimately even if there were some amongst them who cared, none of them had ever thought that they would be facing off against Cole, at the very least amongst the popular streamers, he was the most popular but still the one most voted on to fail due to his solitude.

"Mean!" Cole completed his sentence as he showed up behind one if the aspirants with extremely long and somewhat elaborate dreadlocks. His sword went through his back and popped out of his chest, his blood spurting into the sky and then seemingly getting sucked in by the sword. Cole felt the blade vibrate in his hand with what seemed to be a thrill of excitement. This was way more excitement than it has shown since they stepped into the third floor. Either way within the next second Cole had vanished again, using [Shadow Dance] this time to pop up behind someone else's back, this time a female as he stabbed his sword into the middle of her back, angling the extremely sharp blade to make sure it tore out of her lower abdomen.

It was a gory sight and Cole held someone re the before he threw black Malakai at a man pointing as him with a mini-gun. The sword transformed into an Axe mid swing and hacked into his skull, causing his body to lock up as he died, his hands squeezing the stricter as bullets began to fly every which way. Cole slid on the ground to get out of the way of the machine gun's spitfire. He was aiming for what seemed some metal cargo holder, but there was already somebody there, one of the aspirants who had tried to get away from the stay of gunfire, but ultimately Cole didn't care as he fired off Black Sapphire into the man's head then used his still warm body as a cushion for his slide.

He hunkered down and look around as more and more bodied dropped, the body of the aspirants being dragged by the intensity of the Mini gun's unleashed wrath. In the end all Cole could did was wait, and he didn't have to wait long. At the rate a machine gun fires, it would run out of bullets before even a minute elapses, but it did end and Cole was ready to take advantage of that as he rolled out, sheathed his sword and pulled out Blue Obsidian along with Black Sapphire.

He fired off a shot that took a man in his throat, pulled back the hammer on his revolver and let loose another shot with the other gun that exploded out, turning a duo 9f what seemed to be twins to a design on the wall of the hangar. There wasn't much of them left as the mini gun had gotten a whole lot more of them than he had originally 5uo7gg5. But never the less there was still enough, though most of them just seemed comfortable with running away.

Cole shifted his attention back to the portal just in time to see about a dozen of the aspirants and an Injured and immensely bleeding Vasilios through the portal, the forms vanishing as those who were left all turned as one and started running in the direction of the portal. Cole furrowed his eyebrows as he immediately realized that control of the portal was from the other end, not the current one he was standing. He used [Shadow Dance] Popping up right behind the next person about to go through. He drained half of his entire energy pool along with all of his negative energy pool to creating a [Chaos Blast] that was so powerful that it lost it's red and black hue to one of red, black and purple. He set it to go off immediately and Cole did not want to be anywhere close to the portal when it went off.

[Spectral Rover] got him out of the way and out of the warehouse onto a land bridge leading from a lighthouse, the lighthouse that he had just come out of. But Cole did not stop running, he was enough of a chemistry or perhaps just having a fucking hunch that if you throw pure chaise that explodes through a portal across different dimension and none of which is the freaking soul realm? Then you had to run and hit the road quicker than you can say….
