‘Wow… Ji-Han is so amazing…’

«His ability is definitely great, Master. There are time acceleration spells available to wizards, but they are not as powerful.»

Cheok-Liang was also admiring Ji-Han’s ability.

«Actually, everyone in your team is very talented, Master. As ranged attacks, Ha-Na’s arrow attacks and Mu-Cheok’s mana bullets have power that is hard to find even if you searched the entire world.»

‘You are right. I guess I’m lucky to have these Hunters on my team. Anyway, what should we do about the remaining enemies? It would be troublesome to just let them leave, they would be scattered all over the place. It would be hard to catch them if they—oh, never mind. Reable is taking care of them.’

“Grrrr.”

Reable was busy at work, turning the dead [Twisted and Mutated Entities] into Undead. It looked like he was putting in more mana than before, as they became Ghouls overflowing with power. They ignored Ji-Cheok and his team and scattered in all directions, chasing after the fleeing group of [Cannibals].

«It does not seem like Reable is actually controlling the Undead… I think he just ordered the Undead to not attack their allies. It is a very effective skill in a dungeon.»

‘Because everyone is an enemy?’

«Yes, Master.»

‘That’s true.’

Since the enemies had abandoned their humanity and even fallen as low as eating fellow humans, to Ji-Cheok, they were the same as the dungeon monsters. He didn’t feel any sympathy for them. He just felt more sorry for the victims that had been eaten by them.

‘So I guess it’s okay to create the Undead to kill them. Necromancers are quite useful in these situations.’

«Even so, they are incomparable to you, since you can just buy that skill if you want…»

‘That’s true, but I bet it would cost a lot to learn Necromancy at that level, so I’ll pass. I’d rather do what I do best and let my teammates do what they do best.’

«Then, Master, the battle is not over yet. I think we should focus.»

‘Got it. We still need to take care of the Cultists.’

«Yes, Master. The Cannibals are all on the run, but the battle is still going on on the other side of the mountain.»

‘Then, shall we head over there?’

“Summon Mono Bike G!”

The bike popped out of its pocket dimension with a flash of light. He quickly hopped on and communicated his thoughts to his team members telepathically, through the [Chain Link].

‘I’m going to attack the other side!’

‘Wait! Take me with you~’

Reable quickly came over and sat on the back seat of the bike.

“You need me in a large-scale battle, right? Come on, let’s go!”

Ji-Cheok accepted that having this madman with him would definitely help.

‘Fine. You two are going to be the first ones to attack them,’ Ji-Han said telepathically.

“Activate Soul Telekinesis.”

Ji-Cheok created an ectoplasm road in the sky, and the bike hit it at breakneck speed. From the others’ point of view, they looked like they were running through the sky!

“HAHAHAHAHA! It’s so fast! I love it~”

‘You crazy bastard! Stop screaming!’

They moved at high speed while Ji-Cheok was grumbling.

In the distance, he saw people climbing the mountain. It looked just like the opposite side where the Cannibals had been, but here, the Tama were only attacking from a distance, holding the fort on the mountain peak.

It appeared that the Cultist Tanks were climbing up and tanking the attacks, while the ranged Damage Dealers and Healers that were at the bottom of the mountain, either blocked the Tama Clan’s attacks or supported their own Tanks.

There were already corpses littering the ground.

“Alright, let’s show them what we got!”

Reable used his abilities. He didn’t use skills the way Hunters did, but rather the power of a God! A wave of evil power spread out from behind Ji-Cheok’s back. A moment later, the corpses on the ground jumped up and started attacking the living beings around them.

Then, something even more horrifying happened.

“Al~righty. Pop!”

Boom! Boom!

The Undead that had been entangled with the enemies exploded on the spot, and the power of the blasts was truly extraordinary.

“Hahaha! This is so fun! The Undead should always be dealt with from a distance. That’s common sense!” Reable said.

“Common sense in what world?!”

“Huh~ It should be common sense on Earth too. Am I wrong? Wasn’t there a Necromancer with the skill of making corpses explode? Hm~ I don’t know~”

Seeing the demon pretending to be cute behind his back gave Ji-Cheok the chills.

“Even if that’s common sense, there wouldn’t be anyone as powerful as you. I have never seen or heard of anyone like that.”

They were living in the GodTube era. Most of the information was obtained through GobTube and the Internet. Even if people didn’t know the true power of a Hunter, they knew general information about them. However, Ji-Cheok had not heard anything about a Hunter that could create giant corpses like that or make them explode the way Reable did.

“Come to think of it… If you could do that, why didn’t you use it earlier?”

“The locations were not ideal~ If I used it in a cave, the whole place would collapse~ And the explosion could hurt our team members. Also, it would be a pity to explode the Undead babies that I carefully raised. The Abominations have grown up quite a bit. I need to use them later~ It’s better to use cheap corpses for explosions like this~”

This bastard was definitely crazy. His way of thinking was fundamentally different from humans. Well… right now, they needed someone to be this crazy and dangerous.

“Hold on tight,” Ji-Cheok said.

“Oh~ Are we going in now?”

“Yes.”

Vroom!

They sped up. In an instant, they approached the ground, and Ji-Cheok pulled out his swords.

They jumped into the enemy lines amid the exploding corpses.

Even as a top-tier Druid, Bernade Itum was starting to feel her limit. The power of Nature was great, but Nature was also ultimately dependent on [Providence].

What was Providence? It was the laws and rules that moved the world created by those great and noble Gods. Within these rules, she had managed to undergo a [Change of Job] by completing a surprisingly difficult quest.

The occupation she had obtained from the quest was Druid Wizard. She was not just a Druid who followed the rules of Nature, but one that used magic power to distort the rules of the world. Furthermore, she was not just a random spellcaster. She was a true Wizard, a scholar of magic who researched and understood magic itself.

For this exact reason, when she had found out about this dungeon, she had immediately set foot here—it was all because of her curiosity as a Wizard.

The rest was history.

The reason why she had joined the Tama Clan and decided to come to terms with Macaw of the White Charcoal was that she had a strong will. However, what she was looking at right now was something that, even with her will and wisdom, she could not comprehend.

‘How… is that possible?’

Thanks to her spells and her teammates’ skills, some of the enemies climbing the rocky mountain had turned into corpses. The number was exactly twenty-six. There were about three hundred enemies to begin with, so these casualties were not that impactful.

However, the corpses had now suddenly started to explode, and each of the explosions had tremendous destructive power. Even Bernade had to chant fairly long magic spells in order to produce that kind of explosive power.

But somehow, someone on the battlefield had generated that power in mere moments, and all the enemies on ground zero had been annihilated instantly. Everything that had been caught up in the ten-meter radius of the explosions was destroyed, and there were massive casualties.

More than a hundred Hunters had died or became incapacitated. Each of them had been a high-level Hunter to begin with, and even though they had now transformed to become more powerful than in the past, they still could not withstand the explosions. That kind of power was not something that she could create.

In the midst of the chaos following the explosions, she saw a person riding a motorcycle, like some kind of modern-day knight. He drove at high speed and cut through the panicked enemies with something that she instantly dubbed a ‘Sword of Light.’ She was stunned for a moment at the miraculous sight of a quarter of the Cultists becoming incapacitated in an instant.

“The Cannibals on the other side of the mountain have already fled.”

“Mr. Macaw.”

Macaw, the shaman that looked more like a Tree Spirit than a human, approached her.

“Those guys attacked the Cannibals from the rear and defeated them. Billy is dead.”

“Billy Gallagher…”

She knew very well that Billy was extremely dangerous.

“Alright, let’s drive the rest out of here too,” Macaw said.

“Yes. It has to be done.”

Bernade raised her staff. She used herself as a conduit to create a miracle, transforming the power of Nature into magic. She chanted her spell as if she was singing.

In the meantime, the appearance of Macaw next to her changed. His legs turned into roots and dug into the ground, and his body grew into a tree. Some other Tama gathered around him to infuse mana into Macaw’s trunk, and Macaw’s branches wrapped around the great Druid Wizard.

When all this strength was fully transmitted to her, she finally completed the spell.

“Fury of the Verdure”

“Wow… To think that you’ve become this strong~ I’m looking at you with new eyes! Amazing~” Reable said, still sitting behind Ji-Cheok.

The fact that Ji-Cheok could hear his voice so clearly even in the midst of the explosions meant that Reable had to be using some sort of ability to talk to him.

“Rise! Attack the living! Hahaha!”

Every time Reable shouted, a new group of Undead sprouted. They weren’t low-level Zombies, but rather Ghouls, which showed how strong Reable was.

Bizarre and terrible things happened at the same time.

“No… No! No!!! Please! No! Stop! No!!!!!”

Some of those Hunters who saw the Ghouls scrambled as if they had lost their minds. They couldn’t think straight as they aimlessly fired their skills at the surroundings. It looked like the mental attacks from Undead monsters, such as Ghouls, caused some of the enemies to go insane. The Ghouls attacked the enemies that had gone crazy, conveniently blowing themselves up when it was the right time.

Boom!

“Damn it! Kill those bastards first!”

Surrounded by chaos, some enemies tried to attack Ji-Cheok and Reable but failed miserably.

Crack! Crumble!

The rocky mountain started to crack and the roots of giant, mighty plants protruded from the cracks. And these roots were covered in the power of the Forest Shade.

The tentacle-like roots left Reable and Ji-Cheok alone. They approached the enemies, coiled around them, and eventually crushed them. The flame and lightning skills summoned by the enemies struck the plants, burning some of them, but the roots were simply too many.

The problem was that even if the roots didn’t attack Ji-Cheok, it was still an obstacle to his path!

Vroom!

Ji-Cheok created a new ectoplasm road and soared up into the sky.

“Hm… It looks like they managed to create a fusion skill. Those Tama people are pretty strong too,” Reable said.

The ground on a one-kilometer radius was completely cracked, and the roots and vines protruding from those cracks were attacking the enemies relentlessly. They wrapped around the enemies and crushed them, and they spat poisonous sap. In addition, they were full of thorns that emitted mana, piercing their enemies to death as the roots whipped them.

From above, it looked like a violent jungle was being born. Trees stretched out their branches and flowers bloomed, and eventually, the peak of the normally rocky mountain was covered by a small forest.

That was not all. Otherworldly beings appeared out of nowhere, unleashing mighty abilities upon the enemies. There were Water Spirits, Earth Spirits, and Vegetation Spirits. The Tama had actually summoned nature Spirits to deal with the enemies!

‘What the hell is going on?’

«I believe that is a fusion skill known as [Call of Nature].»

‘Isn’t that the thing Reable was just talking about?’

«Yes, Master. A fusion skill is when multiple Hunters combine their skills into one. Actually, your own potion-making machines are made like that.»

‘So you mean…’

«Yes, Master. The methods seem to be similar to your potion-making machines. They must have combined their skills and mana. But the drawbacks also appear to be rather significant. Look, the barrier is diminishing.»

When Ji-Cheok glanced at the mountain, he saw the barrier on the peak of the mountain disappearing.

‘I guess you are right. It seems to be an ultimate skill that draws on that energy. It’s definitely a great power.’
