56 Meeting Lotus

But upon getting out, Kate saw the scene that she hated the most.

There were piles of giant insects on her road.

“Meow...”

Kate sighed and then tried taking those light dots into her body. She could sense that the moment she took them; it was also strengthening her ability slightly. And the black dots of these insects suddenly grew and then the entire body collapsed.

Kate walked to the nearby river and washed her body slightly. The smell of those rotting corpses made her sick and she didn’t want to keep her body continue being so smelly. Anyway, she knew that she wouldn’t be able to repeat this massive giant insect killing again in the future.

These insects were all passed out, which was why Kate could afford to kill uncountable amount of insects.

And the most pleasant thing was that these insects provided her with various colors of crystals. It seemed that they were all of different elements and maybe it also had some relationship with what kind of insect they were.

Hmm, Kate definitely didn’t want to study these insects deeply.

Kate happily played in the water. The temperature was just right and Kate had the feeling that Kyle will be able to find her easily. She just needed to wait a bit for him to come and fetch her.

Hearing the sound of footsteps, Kate raised her head and was surprised to see her university classmate Lotus along with several people she didn’t recognize. One of them was walking beside Lotus, so he might be the leader along with Lotus.

Considering Lotus’ reputation as the school belle and also her beautiful appearance, Kate was not that surprised that she will have another group to follow.

“Meow.” <Time to go. I'll just wait in other location."

Lotus suddenly stopped and her eyes were fixed on the cat that had just finished washing. Traces of ruthlessness flashed within her pupil. "That cat..."
