Li Taiyi was highly respected and accomplished in the imperial medical center. Originally, he was only responsible for serving the emperor, but because the emperor doted on his younger brother, he assigned Li Taiyi to exclusively serve him.

“Taiyi, how is she?” Rong zhen was so anxious about a woman for the first time in his life that he felt restless and uneasy, like ants were eating away at his heart.

“I have already administered the needle. The girl’s condition has slightly improved, but the poison has already entered her bloodstream. To clear the poison out, it will take some time.” Li Taiyi replied.

“What kind of poison was on the needle?”

Rongzhen should have been the one lying in the bed right now, but due to a twist of fate, it was Gu Yunru!

Rongzhen was filled with regret and furrowed his brows.
