CH 15

Chapter 15 – Birthday Feast

Luo Bei was stunned. She tensed up and looked over. It was quite far and she was slightly short-sighted but based on his height, the man really resembled Lei Yuhao.

In addition, Lei Yuhao called the woman Miss Lu. Luo Bei guessed that she had chanced upon a quarrel between the male lead and the supporting female lead.

According to the current plot, Lei Yuhao and Miss Lu had cancelled their marriage. He realized Zhao Pianpian’s importance in his life but it was no use. He couldn’t find her and he didn’t know that she had given birth to his child either.

Lei Yuhao was irritated by Miss Lu’s words, but he was still able to control himself. The angrier he was, the calmer his tone was, “Then it’s none of your business.”

Done talking, he left, followed by the clicking sound of high heels against the pavement. After a while, the parking lot regained its original peace. The two must have left.

Luo Bei thought to herself, the plot should have progressed to the part the readers were looking forward to. First, torture the female lead, then torture the male lead. It was now time for Lei Yuhao’s torture, pretty good.

She still remembered what she saw in her dreams. After Zhao Pianpian left, Lei Yuhao suffered in the two years she was gone. Saying that he was basically a walking dead was no exaggeration. He expanded great efforts in looking for her but every time he thought he was close, he was sorely disappointed in the end. Frankly speaking, it was quite satisfying to see him torturing himself.

There were actually several occasions where she wanted to tell Zhao Pianpian – tell her that Lei Yuhao was looking for her, tell her that she would marry Lei Yuhao in the future, but she swallowed her words. There was a popular saying: spoiling a show would give you a moment of satisfaction, but after that satisfaction came your own cremation.She didn’t know what would happen if she tried changing the progression of the story, but she did not dare take a chance.

Maybe Lei Yuhao would cherish Zhao Pianpian more after more than two years of separation. If they were reunited earlier, would Lei Yuhao not cherish her as much?

The plot was reasonable. She shouldn’t change it, nor did she dare to.

It was said that after a woman gave birth, her husband would be demoted in terms of priority. This applied perfectly to Zhao Pianpian.

Luo Bei observed that Zhao Pianpian would occasionally fall into depression before but it was completely gone now. But it was understandable; with a child around, how could she have time to feel sad? She was busy to death and Baby Chen was now Zhao Pianpian’s reason for being. With this baby around, she was satisfied with her life. Today was the day of Baby Chen’s man yue.

He had become fatter, paler. Like other babies, all he did every day was eat, sleep and eat. He cried when he should, threw tantrums when he should. He wasn’t particularly well-behaved, yet wasn’t particularly naughty either.

They didn’t have the best conditions and the future overbearing CEO’s man yue wasn’t a grand occasion. It paled very much in comparison to the scale of a fuerdai’s.

Baby Chen wore new clothes today. Because he had been fed and was full of milk, he was willing to be spectated by people. He really liked Grandma Luo and didn’t resist being carried by Grandma Luo.

Zhao Pianpian’s figure had not fully recovered. After all, during the confinement period, she still had to pump out milk, but she was a lot thinner than when she had just given birth. As Luo Bei saw it, she looked better plumper.
