And then, five days passed…

「All right, we’re landing!」

It was dusk, and the sky was dyed in the color of twilight. Lahti, who was at the helm of the Flygear Carrier, carried out his command, landing the aircraft in an open space. Over the past few days, the area around the encampment had been cleared and leveled, so they had no shortage of places to land.

In the encampment, everyone was busily going about, seeing to their respective tasks.

And from a place afar, Lahti could hear the sound of battle buzzing.

「All right, everyone, good work. Let’s load up the last cargo that we will carry tomorrow and call it a day.」

「Understood, Your Highness! You heard that?! Start working your hands!」

「Yes!」

In response to Lahti’s call, Luwin gave the order. The Knights who escaped Lekrea —though calling them Prince Lahti’s personal Knights sounded more appropriate now— responded with a lively smile.

When they went around distributing the Dragon God meat to the people in the surrounding towns using the Flygears and Flygear Carrier, the people were all elated and grateful. Some of them even broke into tears when they found out that it was Prince Lahti who had brought food to them personally.

And when the Knights witnessed such a scene, a newfound sense of fulfillment was reflected in their faces.

「Leone is cutting the meat again, right?」

「She is cute, isn’t she? She even comes to greet us every day. You know what, I’ll be the one to see her first today!」

「I prefer Liselotte, she’s such a high ranking young lady, I love her.」

「If that’s what we’re talking about, then Inglis is the cutest of all. I mean, everyone is cute, but she stands out from the rest!」

The Knights hopped off the Carrier to collect tomorrow’s cargo as they conversed amongst themselves. Rafinha, who was aboard, looked a bit disgruntled as she watched over them.

The steering itself could be done by Lahti, but the power source of the Flygear Carrier needed to be supplied by mana through the Rune. Today, it was Rafinha’s turn to be the supplier.

「S-, sorry about that. You listened to something weird……They’re just unreserved, so…」

「They’re only afraid to say your names since you’re nearby, but they usually speak about you too, don’t let it offend you.」

「No, well, that’s true, but that’s not the problem here, Luwin.」

「I-, is it not? Forgive me, Your Highness.」

Rafinha sighed when she listened to the exchange between Lahti and Luwin.

「No, that’s not it. I’m not the one who’s supposed to do this. You know what that means, right?」

「Nn? A-, aah……yeah, I know…」

It’s not that Rafinha didn’t want to help, she just thought that this wasn’t her role. Everyone agreed that Lahti would be the one to step forward and show support to the surrounding towns.

By doing so, Lahti would gain the trust of the people and his fame would consequently become his political strength. As Inglis said, people of Charalia like her and the other girls shouldn’t be on the forefront, so it’s better to have Lahti take the credit and fame. Rafinha thought it was good, too. She didn’t mind helping out as the power supply for the Flygear Carrier. She was happy she could see the joy on the faces of the townspeople as they circled around the towns and villages.

The scar supposedly left by the Prisma and Tiffany the Hyrule Menace was deep, but everyone, with Lahti in the middle, would be able to move forward as one. Having such a mindset was amicable. And yet, there was one thing Rafinha wasn’t happy with.

「Welcome back, everyone! How were the towns?」

「Ah. Pullum! Yeah, we’re back. Everyone was so happy!」

「I see, that’s great to hear! We’re loading the cargo for tomorrow, right? Let me help!」

She couldn’t say much since the person in question was right in front of her, but what Rafinha wanted to say was concerning Pullum. Normally, it should have been Pullum who took the role Rafinha did today. Pullum was an Alucardian citizen, so it was better to have her in the lead than Rafiha or the other girls.

But Pullum’s older brother is Hallim. Hallim was an Alucardian noble and a capable administrative officer, and yet he was bewitched by Tiffany and became a Highlander, trampling down the area as her right arm.

Because of that, Pullum said she couldn’t possibly face the townspeople, so she stayed in the encampment to do odd tasks instead of going out for the rescue.

Rafinha, personally, couldn’t possibly say it sat well with her.
